Smoothbore guns I find are the best for defensive battles as the enemy will be very close to your lines. I would suggest you switch out the rifled guns for those Napoleons :)
the 24 lbr's are great for defense, fast reload and great canister shot damage, 24 lb.'s are also great but not the best for close range, i like to put 12 lbr napoleons right behind a line of infantry since there is no friendly fire. but its good honestly to have a mix of all three, the 20lbr parrots are wicked awesome for range and they actually have canister shot so if you can get your hand on a few of those its worth it in the long run.
Should have taken avantage of the unions right flank being woefully weak so they would move forces over there rather than slaughtering ur troops at your right flank

Love those 24#'s they really have a devastating effect. Curious: It seemed the Unions right flank would be easy to cave...could be wrong. Great video!
with your new battle tactics, you should review the ww2 naval battle in the Philippines. plus have you seen the utuber jive turkey?
Napoleons for defence and maybe a second 24 lbr how

The rifled cannon are good for counter battery fire as the accuracy is better.
