Just finished building this in my survival world! I really liked how you put a list of all the materials at the beginning, made things a lot easier :) I like how this is a simple build but it still looks really nice at my farm!! Thanks for the great video!!!!
how did you put the ladders on the trapdoor is it a mod only?
LaylaMC late, but I’m pretty sure that’s a Java only thing that’s not on Bedrock yet.
@@laylamc6441 you can on bedrock and java, you will need to shift click and make sure the trapdoor is flush against the wall

I have a question about the layout measurements. Shouldn't that one side that is 3x be 5x like the opposite side? Something that is kind of bothersome is the fact that you will put one row of blocks somewhere, then take some out, and put other blocks around it when you could have made it so much less confusing by just putting them in the place they're supposed to be in to begin with. You could eliminate a lot of extra steps that way.

Built this in survival, it was fun. Instead of oak I did birch and dark oak instead of spruce, I love the color contrast of the two

If u guys are having problems putting the wood on the barrel because it keeps giving u the option to put stuff in there , place a block there and then put the wood , after u put the wood take the block that u replaced it with the barrel and add the barrel under the wood u just built , but jump when putting it so that it could face up

i tried making that layout but i come up with 15 blocks on top instead of 16. and everything else is correct. including corners. what??

If you crouch and position them a certain way, trap doors act like a normal block

The campfire as a roof is SO creative omg 😱
For anyone stuck on the first ground measurements: The part where the 7 block lines connect there is a middle block connecting them both so technically it's 8x and 8x not 7x and 7x. It's just not counted for the outer edge. I hope that makes sense, I explained the best way I know how. I just know I was stuck on this for a few minutes.
I hate to use a tutorial and not make something of my own idea but this is a beautiful barn great job

For anyone confused the measurements are off so here it is change the 16 to 15 and the 12 to 11 it seems different and wrong but trust me it works they counted kinda wrong
Thx. On bedrock me and my friends started a realm on and old 256 by 256 world to see how long wars breakout over the limited resources and space. So far it’s been surprisingly peaceful and we decided to build a farm. Long story short, this video is very helpful

edit: btw just built my cliff house then im looking for my farm house....and I think this is it!..I will copy the outside or the farm house but the interior is gonna be different...ty for the heart

I need a barn in my survival world, so maybe I’ll build one kinda like this? I’d probably make it bigger so I can breed animals, but this design is lovely
if your animals are escaping from the outside pen, replace the trapdoor on the barrel with a slab

Just saying, if you are wondering how many logs you need for the campfires, it’s 126, or a stack and 62. Same with the sticks
