No s2 announced yet. People worried but I think it will get one. But not anytime soon. I say this because the Manga was about 3 years old when they started this. Manga started in April in 2020.
Close to the end you were talking about how long the anime would be. At the moment, there are enough manga chapters to do another season of the same length and it doesn't seem to be anywhere close to finishing. So, we might still have a lot of Frieren in stock for the future.
@Vansh_medhonestly the manga has shifted a lot into longer arcs that aren’t entirely focused on travelling distance (like the arcs are amazing just a different focus) so it’s hard to say how far from Ende we are we could reach it in 30 chapters after the current arc that’s just started or we could have multiple arcs before reaching it and even then who knows how much story will there be once we reach Ende so plenty of Frieren!! (Just sucks that the manga takes a lot of breaks lol)
"Children aren't the only one who needs emotional support." - HIMmel the Hero We can see how Himmel's words are like a lesson to Frieren! Everyone needs emotional support.
The way they part is explained very well in the final episode of the season. You should know by now, nothing in this show is done without reason behind it when it comes to Frieren. No paragraph needed, just wait patiently for the show to explain it.
The arc with Sein was to inspire him pursue his dream of becoming an adventurer. Not to specifically recruit him. It was just a bit of symbolism that sometimes people need to get out of their own way in order to accomplish their goals. However, a little shove in the right direction from some nice strangers can help immensely. He will be missed, but maybe we will see him again some day :)
A lot of reactors I've seen have thought something similar XD i think they just go too far into the "frieren doesn't understand what things mean" mentality
I think Sein leaving is the right thing to do. He needs to find his friend and get closure. Have you noticed Stark milking the cow at the end? That requires a huge amount of gentleness I'd say 🙂
i liked the farewell to sein, because that's how every goodbye is for frieren. it means so much more to the humans involved but frieren already had a goodbye like that with her old group thinking like "it's just 50 years w/e". she didn't even understand the remark that it was a quick goodbye and just put it aside with a "he's an adult!"
For Frieren Sein is just another adventure they came along the way. But unlike any other stories Frieren doesnt think of them as a fleeting relationship. For her Sein is the same as Heiter, Himmel and Eisen. Sein is part of her now as much as the Heroes party. We might see him again, we might not. But that's okay. 😇 Frieren might be recalling her past adventure all the time but her full attention is on the Present. Her past experiences is now part of some sort of a guide for her. The writer made it even more obvious how she uses SEINS NOTE to help Fern with her fever. She opens that note like a guide-book. Here's a very important details that a lot of people miss. Himmel Party Adventure Done > 50 years pass > she visits himmel and he died > 20 years pass > she visits Heiter > 4 - 6 years pass > she stayed with Heiter > and now major events happen with Fern in a span of months! Time for Frieren is getting slower and slower as she develop closer relationship to these two kids and people around her.
I don't see what's there to dislike about Sein leaving that way. he and Frieren are adults, goodbyes between adults aren't heartfelt crying and big hugs, you say goodbye to someone, and if you see them again, you see them. children are quite dramatic, on the other hand, and have a tendency to expect goodbyes to be a big heartfelt farewell. life's just a load of goodbyes, and I don't think that's anything to find sad, but rather, a testament to the beauty of living and of meeting other people.
Seems like you didn't learn the lesson of the episode, it isn't just child behaviors to say goodbye with a heartwarming desire to make the other feel good and expressing your feelings ! Or maybe you never met people you were attached to...
@@antoinebrg6299 not everyone expresses themselves in the same ways, how I express my emotions to people I'm attached to may be very different from how you do. maybe it's part of how socially awkward one is, for example, I'm far more socially awkward than most, as is Frieren. the idiom from the story 'It'd be embarrassing when we meet again.' spoken in the finale may be a good example of this. perhaps you didn't learn the lesson yourself. or, the third, more likely option, is that we interpreted the meaning differently, and took different things out of it, which is OK.
@@Green-3c34y65vrbu I knew you would hide behind the personnality argument... but that was not was you were saying at first, you said people not acting like Sein did were childish and you tried to generalize your personnality as an adult norm for everyone, which is wrong and totally oppose your new statement. But anyway, don't know why I'm arguing, people can't follow their own principles. Bye
@@antoinebrg6299 I'm allowed to change my perspective as a gain more information. humans are ever changing. sticking to principles broadly can be more of a weakness than a power, as while it solves the power of your resolve, it also brings with it a refusal to change. i'm not afraid to be wrong, and then become right. tata.
Few things: 1. Fern has a mother, she knew who her mother was, its not like Fern was picked up by Heither when she's an infant, so Frieren is not a mother Fern never had, cause she knew her biological mom. 2. Why would Stark and Fern start making out in a cabin where there's Frieren around, and they are teenagers. And Stark dont really have romantic feelings towards Fern yet 3. About that goodbye, you would have to wait until the last episode. All i can give for now is, that Sein is a full grown adult, crying doesnt really suit him 4. Frieren is a mage, she doesnt have the capability to heal sickness. She cant do every magic that existed, especially Goddess magics
It's funny cuz that interaction between Fern and Stark is so real. My ex one time put her hand on my head and pressed really hard, and I immediately caught on and was like, "do I do that?" Not even realizing. She said yeah. Now I know to actively be gentle unless something needs force.
13:21 I was unsatisfied at their parting at first, as well However, I now appreciate the brief farewell between Sein and Frieren ONLY AFTER having seen the entire season. This show offers SO MUCH VALUE to a second or even third re-watch - the way you understand the characters from later episodes goes back to inform the events of earlier episodes in such SNEAKY ways, it's crazy epic story writing!!
This season adapted 60 chapters of the manga; there are currently 127 published chapters, so there's at least enough material for a second season (though a third one will probably have to wait for the buffer to build up)... and the next 60 chapters are _at least_ as good as what we've seen so far, so here's hoping Madhouse will keep up the great work they've done with season one.
it's character development, at first Sein was unmotivated to go out and look for Gorilla, but after venturing forth with Frieren's party, he found the confidence to see it through, to find Gorilla so he would no longer regret not joining him in the first place. The reason for the Bye is a spoiler so just look forward to it.
I know you were upset about how Sein left, but as explained by Himmel in a flashback they do the shorter goodbyes because if they do long drawn out crying and emotional goodbyes it almost implies they will never meet again and basically the characters have no intention of meeting again. ROCKING WITH THE NEW OP! 🔥🔥🔥
Sadge we weren't able to see your reaction to it T-T
Frieren, "they are being weird", Carlie first words " are they making out?" Why why why why😂😂😂

Ange didn't like the quick goodbye - well ange gonna eat his words back in the last episode. So ready to see that😆

Thank you! Glad you like it ❤️
New OP cover sounds sick!
Well that quick goodbye does have a deep meaning which will be reveled at the last episode.
When you watch the end of episode 28 you'll understand why the goodbye was prefect
“Well, that was a quick goodbye.”
Wait until the season finalé! There’s always a reason for everything that Freiren does.
There is a reason why Frieren is okay with quick goodbyes. You will have to watch the rest of the season!
I can't believe that I can actually say with this show that "now it's getting to the good part" because up to this point it's been amazing.
It's always nice to have a chill anime in the react rotation. The Fark scenes and Himmel flashbacks make a nice palette cleanser
I mean Stark in german literally means strong . You can tell from his name what he's supposed to represent, that he's BUILT DIFFERENT

That cover was, to quote Andy (From Undead Unluck), "Sick. Wicked sick!" 🔥🔥
the reason for this very quick greeting will be told very well in the last episode, episode 28
