When I recieved mine, one of the four little missiles on the front of the thigh was missing. I contacted XM and they were bloody marvellous. Couldn't do enough for me. Recieved two replacements in the post. So now I have a spare. My first XM piece and certainly not the last. Loved this review, thank you so much.

I actually got to see this in hand when i picked my hellboy up. to be honest, i couldnt keep my eyes off it. Its is an absolute stunner. The paint job was flawless and the opening sections and components looked really well done. It has to light up tho for me. If other companies can do it, XM should have included it. Thats my only gripe otherwise a stunning piece.
I completely agree and I think XM do as the new one has a light up! XM typically don't like light up features as they don't always ship so easy and come out unscathed at the other end! I personally don't use them so for me it's moot! Much love Essex mate merry Christmas

It honestly blew our minds brother!! We opened it up and almost every person put their head in their hands and muttered "why did I not pre order this??" The only one not to react like that was Thor and he owns it!! Stunning work!! Maybe my piece of the year!! All the best

When y'all did the comparison between the Mk. 6 and 7, my eyes kept going back over to the Mk. 7. The paintwork and details are stunning. Definitely my pick of the two.
Yes my brother that's exactly how I felt! The mk7 grabs your attention and won't let go!! Had it on display for like half an hour before the crowd would move away so we could film!! Lol crazy
Wow! the Paint is Awesome..Geo man i totally agree you about the light up and the hands but this piece is still a 10 but it would have been instant grail if did.Still might be my first XM piece if i can find it at a good price as i just bought The Iron Man mark VI Marquette hold me over..
Thanks my brother!! You can't lose with either!! The mk6 has a naturalness to it, environmental base which I prefer and a super light up!! The mk7 has one of the best paint jobs I have seen with typical forethought engineering from XM! That in flight pose is stunning!! This pieces grabs your gaze and does not let it go!! We were all so impressed!! Much love son
Well guys XM has knocked it out of the park once again love the Coopers is that it has all the detail just mind blown would have been nice to have light up features but doesn't bother me overall magnificent I agree with Geo definitely XM the Sideshow ones beautiful as well thanks once again guys for sharing love your work.

Great statues for sure. For me the only downside with the XM one is the base. I can't stand bases that tell me the name of the character or even have a small print where it says PREDATOR like the cinemaquette one. I don't want to be reminded with the name of the statue lol. But that is me having issues there :D Otherwise it is a win if any collector own either one! And XM is again doing stuff that no one else is doing with designs like that.

We all have our tastes and in pics and reviews the base is boring but in hand it's much lighter (Alex talking crap as its darker on film) it's a brass copper look that shimmers when the light hits it!! Bit arty really the base!! I prefer environmental bases myself! This ironman is so classy and well finished!! I loved it! Peace
U nailed the review chaps. Best IM yet ? I'd say close but no due to the 1/2 Imaginarium Art Mk7. Agree with everything said. Sculpt, paint, posture are on another level but damn.. no light up ? On an IM collectible ? That is a crowd silencer.
In know man! Crazy!! XM don't like light ups but after the feedback regarding this they added one to the classic coming out next year!! I have to say this piece is one of the best I have seen this year so mad respect for XM and the peeps who grabbed this!! #jealous

not lighting up is a legit issue with this piece
I finally have the chance to pick this piece up.....Since you both have seen it in person....would you add it to your collection if the opportunity came up?

as a whole I like the mkVI better but the mkVII clearly has the better paint job, I just put a lot of stock into the pose and some into the base as well and since the mkVII basically has a nameplate for the base that kinda kills the piece for me
I have the mkvi and i would trade it for the mkvii. But maybe it is that feeling that you always want what you don't have
I fuckn hate the base, I don't like name plates and the base is just a giant name plate, an environmental or story telling base can add so much to a piece, and this is just a missed opportunity, having said that the iron man itself is probably the best to date, although personally I prefer the paint job on the Imaginarium Arts Dark Avengers Iron Patriot I mean that matte blue paint on that statue is the best paint I have ever seen on a statue period.
I am big fan of your channel and I have a question needs answering ! Which is I love hot toys and side show but which one shall I buy and collect as hot toys looks to fiddly and to much to collect but sideshow looks more easy and more nice too ! Let me know guys ! Temmers
Dude!! Firstly thank you for the vote of confidence!! It's a huge decision and I will try to help but you must always go with your gut and heart! We have seen a fair few hot toys and some sideshow 1:6 scale and we have always felt the better finish is in the hot toys pieces! Some are closer than others but the deadpool for example was a fair bit better in hot toys format!! If I was being completely honest I would say both!! Hot toys may win on some characters and sideshow may pull a few back!! Why limit yourself to 1 company? The world is vast man so fill your boots!! There are killer 1:6 scale customs too!! Get out there!! Peace
Temel Erdinch well HT are 1/6 figures and these guys mainly focus on 1/4 statues. Honestly I'd look at companies like XM, IS, P1 & HMO instead of SS. Only problem is that SS do not sell XM pieces.
