That view of Rydal Falls from The Grot (at 3:37 to 3:46) is always inspiring. Imagine how it must feel to someone wandering around the grounds of Rydal Hall for the first time, coming across The Grot, and entering through the unlocked door to see that wonderful view of the falls, framed perfectly in the window. It makes me wish I had the talent and the inclination to paint, and then I'd set up my chair and easel in front of that window, and while away the day there.
August is summers final farewell...I am enjoying my husband cooking for me on the grill. Sausages, corn on the cob, hamburgers- lots of yummy stuff!! I am also enjoying the sights & smells of summer. The beautiful flowers, lightening bugs at night, the beautiful sunsets. The smell of fresh cut grass, the honeysuckle blooming, or the air after a hard rain. Then there's the sounds of summer. Children laughing playing outside, the sound of a lawnmower, night sounds like the crickets & the frogs. Glad you are doing well!! The "what if" that you think is always worse the the "what if" that happens in reality usually. Take care of yourself sweet girl & thanks for the beautiful serene video (those hydrangeas so gorgeous 💜💜💜) ❤️☺️🌺

Lake district is gorgeous! Such scenery all around! Regarding the inner fears and worries, it's definitely not a good thing to bottle them up, they tend to boil and then explode, so letting them out (even though it might seem wrong sometimes) is definitely a path to healing and getting better!

I agree with you. For some reason we are always taught to keep our feelings internalised, when in reality that’s so unhealthy.
