This was so sweet. I wish they continued these relationships. I'm still mad the creators stop continuing the relationship between Sonic and Sally. Those two are perfect for each other and the creators stopped it. But they got a new comic series out so there's nothing. It may be over but I will always remember Sonic and Sally forever.
They had no choice. The Sega mandates in the reboot said sonic wasn’t allowed to be in a romantic relationship with anyone because “he’s a free Spirit”
I think the reason why sega made them do that was because they didn’t feel like dealing with the sonally and sonamy shipping war that was going on at the time
the list of characters we liked gone from continuity is way to long plus stuff they shouldn't change ixis naugus back story getting rid of every main character family member that was not in game or cartoon the list of stupid goes on

It's a reminder of how sad the Genesis Wave technically is. Many friends were lost due to it, such as Mina Mongoose and Julie-Su. Relatives like Sally's brother Elias. Even those like Fiona Fox, who while having done bad things, never got a chance for redemption. Shard's situation is sad due to the fact that the prior comics hinted that he and Nicole had feelings for each other. Nicole lost someone she could have been with. But even in this comic, there was hope she and Shard could have reunited. It may have been unlikely in the reboot for that to happen, but the possibility was slim, depending on ownership stuff and what-not. One thing I liked about Shard and Nicole together is that it shows how similar Nicole is to Sally. She and Sally think alike at times, express similar mannerisms, and have similar interests. Almost like they're twins. So it's fitting that they have similar tastes in boys. Sally had Sonic, and Nicole had Shard. Now only one of those pairings is possible in the reboot. Of course the reboot is done too, but the future could be bright. Maybe one day, Nicole and Shard could have their Happily Ever After. It is what they deserve.
I don't even know who Shard or Gemrl are, but I do know they are clearly alternate variants of the same person, and that Nicole might just realize who Gemrl is, and be reunited with an old friend
Actually, Shard and Gemerl are completely seperate and do not really come from the same thing. Shard is a Metal Sonic model that turned good, while Gemerl was a robot created by Eggman out of the parts of an old robot named Emerl that was created by an ancient civilization. I'm not tryna be mean or anythin I was jusy sayin. Sorry if it sounded like I was hatin.

It's based of the Archie comics, IDW comics and other Sonic media as well Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Dragon Ball Fighterz and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja. Right now we're currently looking for voice actors from TH-cam who would voice in our game. I'm doing the Voice Casting as well as game developer and designer. It's a fast paced 2D fighting game particular animated in 2d. We would like to know if your interested in voicing some characters in the project.

Shard's personality feels a little off, but he was still one of my favorite emerging characters (I didn't know about his inclusion in Sonic Universe either). This was a nice moment for him, but overall the reboot did him dirty.
@@GoTree64 Penders was not the culprit. The fault was a SEGA mandate that "There must be no more than one Metal Sonic." The pre-reboot continuity showed many Metal Sonics. And since Shard was one of them, with the reboot they made sure that he and the others no longer existed.
There’s a popularity happening around with Sally x Nicole together but to me Shard x Nicole will be my ship 💜💛 the original ship that should’ve continued 🥺
This looked so on brand, it felt....real. But, just like shard was, its not. And like Shard did, Archie's series faded into the wind. And part was left in IDW's.
