I love this build. Ive been playing My Pir-1 with 3 heavy meds and 8 regular machine guns and it is terrifying, I think this build might be better though!
I don't understand why people so many people are apparently bothered by the Warhawk kill. No situational awareness on his part, running no rear armor, a pure LRM build with no defensive weapons, no teammates serving as a rear guard, etc. Meanwhile, a light mech can easily go down in a heartbeat from an AC20 round, a Heavy Gauss, or something else in a heartbeat (and often does), but no one complains about that. Maybe it was because it was at the very beginning of the match before the guy likely even got a single volley off?
Chat on that last game"My back hurts from that team carry" with 402 from an Assault mech, compared to other higher scorers from all weight ranges.........
Some Clan lights can pull off 50-60 damage alphas, with a long burn time, so if you don't twist when hear laser fire from behind, it is your own big mistake. Fatties should be extra careful if they are the last dudes in the formation. They at least can survive that. Lighter mechs don't have enough structure to react before going kaboom.
This shows the poor implementation of weapon modeling PGI did. This is supposed to be a mech simulator and these high pinpoint alphas are the most un-Battletech like thing. This would never happen in the Battletech fiction.
I've been running the stock Cipher and I find it to be pretty good on its own. I'm debating replacing the HML with ERML to give me a little range but for poking. As small as it is, the thing can sprint in and backstab like crazy. Good show.
Hey Baradul !! Thanks for the videos ! I see them everyday since more than one year and damn... i love the way you play those lights ! May i been so humble and sugest you a build ?... try a locust 3S with 3 srm2 and 3 a half tonnes of amo.. you just need to spare a little of the head armor to do that ( I learned this from you X). Its a cheap build but so damn worth it.. XD
@@Garrek316 My apologies. Those kind of people can really ruin new peoples will to play. Sorry for assuming. And yes, that loadout seems crazy heavy for a Cata x)
I used to use that build in solaris. The catapult had to fight king crabs and it was really one of the only viable ways to do it. Had to use a std 200 and I only had 3 tons of ammo. Lulzy for QP
It would be nice if the LBX spread node also affected machine gun spread. Could be a nice little nugget to add to the skill tree. LMG spread is just terrible.
how are you so close to the main window already. my 1x is situated way back where you can see the side windows, i have to go to 1.5x in order to have the same view as your 1x
i feel like a UAV might be super valuable instead of artillery. so that you can know just how dumb of an idea it is to charge into what you are hoping is the back of the enemy team :P
Why does this thing has so many weapons? No light got this much firepower. Sure, it's glass cannon, but all lights are, and they have way less firepower.
You seem to have WAY more fun playing lights, watching you play the Piranha and the Flea are absolutely hilarious..
Fun and skills. Bara certainly has the light skills.

poor warhawk :(
I know that was cold-blooded lol. That player was probably surprised and pissed at the same time like wtf was that.

You don't see too many instances of ganking in MWO, but that was definitely a gank.

@@Gildashard yeah, yeah. PPC/Gauss headshot instagibs are in every second novel.
Those laser sounds are amazing
You can really feel powerrrr
Love the build. And amazing takedown on the Warhawk. But yeah, you do feel a little bad for the guy at the same time.
you have blown my mind with that first kill
That first kill was sick fast!
for real troll you should do the pir-3 with 4x hmls 10x ermicro its like 70 damage alpha on a light mech, now that's a back stab x3
I used to run 15x HSL - before the patch :))) - that was 97,5 alpha backstabber :D
Gotta keep your head on a swivel! Fish people are out there...
The fun about playing a SRM boat Arctic Wolf is the tight dance on top of the heat gauge...
I could watch this mech all day

Devastating! Love it!! Will have to try out the build!
WOW that first kill was just.... wow

them lil fishies are such fun light mechs to play
recently got the glowing eyes for mine cause it just looks cool as hell
Clan heavy mediums have such a mean sound don’t you think?
*BWAAAARRRMP* *component explodes*
i run 3 heavy meds and 12 lmg on my piranha super fun... i generally only use the mg's for crits/backstab and the lasers for general damage
Is it just me or did anyone else thought WTF after seeing the Dual Heavy Gauss Catapult?
Nah, Im not very invested in how other people choose to play.
It wasn't an "oh, look what this guy is playing" - WTF. It was more like: "I'm surprised that it possible while still beeing able to move"^^

That Warhawk got erased. Never knew what hit him.

I really need to get myself a light mech. It looks like so much fun!
What a great couple of games, so much fun!!

Makes me really wanna go get a clan light and fill it up with heavy lazors!
Can you put ECM on a cipher?
Freeak'n Piranhas... ;)
Unph4zed kill steal at 11:21 LOL
Can you do a DRG-1N build, please? I don't think I've ever seen you play that one.
_Hello, goodbye, I'm Baradul..._
In before they nerf Heavy Lasers.
Wish there was a skill to increase cyclic rate of fire on ballistic weapons. Am I overlooking it?
Thanks for the vid sir.
Backstab? Piranha?
*[MrPaladin would like to know your location]*
Pure excellence!
That build on a cheetah would be great... unfortunately lack of omnidpods, you can only do 3 and 5
"Noice!" Baradul 2018
Honestly, overriding is always worth it, in my experience.
When I used to play lights regularly, I’d hit it right off the bat when the game started. Better to blow a limb than shut down most times.
I love the piranha but I'm a huge mist lynx fan
reminds me of mone 12 mgs and 3 heavy meds
PGI is so OP!
Ah, the piranha.. we talked about that. :)

Don't lie, you were inspired by the Piranha RT build I tweeted to you :D :D
I put an Elite Clan Jenner into RT that's very much like this. It's not in the public branch yet but will be soon.
@@cargo_vroom9729 I am -- CLAN WOLF -- in the upper clan area. Have fun! :)
omg this build is evil.
so balanced!
gutsy build to have no head armor.

2 UAV's, 1 air strike, 1 artillery strike recommended. Maybe a coolshot too. Although heat is nature's way of telling you to slow down.

2x hgauss K2? XD

I can't get a little kill 😂😂
1st game, 1st kill was disgusting. How do you sleep at night!? Great content man.
