Farming Simulator 2017 Timelapse #43: Planting The Valley!

In today's FS17 time lapse video, which is set in Goldcrest Valley-
We're getting all the planting done, this will be the last time we ever do that here in Goldcrest Valley! As well as planting all the fields, we're also doing a few more trees from our little forestry area, this time pushing them into a stationary woodchipper to see if that's more profitable than selling logs. It's certainly more time consuming if nothing else!

Oilseed Radish, you plant them, then when they grow (only one growth stage), you cultivate them back in, or plant with a direct seeder and they count as one layer of fertilizer

Frithgar thanks :D so if I fertilize it second time later after seeding does it make a difference between singular and double? :)

The way I do it is use a direct drill that fertilizes (like the Horsch Pronto) and plant oilseed radish. This will give the field 1 layer of fertilizer. When that grows one stage, you then plant again with the crop you're going to use. This will cultivate the oilseed radish for layer 2 of fertilizer, then the seed drill adds the final layer of fertilizer. If you're playing with only 1 layer needed instead of needing 3, then just plant oilseed radish on their own (no extra fertilizer), then plant the crop you want to use after that and you'll get everything you need. I hope that makes sense!
