Sae is probably one of the most technical players in the entire verse. Take everything Rin is doing currently and pair that with the arguably the most calculating and methodical brain in the story (his aura is literally the fucking Fibonacci sequence 😭) and you get the greatest player out of Japan.

Loki takes advantage of the sub system and subs out "Rin's team" to an offense more suited for Shidou with passes both lead by Charles. The BM vs PXG game is the only time Shidou DOESNT have the team catered to him in the NEL. From the stats Loki gave Shidou takes like 30 shots and has only scored like 0-2 goals per game. Shidou just shoots from anywhere and hopes it goes in so I'm pretty sure Barou is clear of him.
For the shidou shot thing it was more like 3/12. But yeah he shoots way too much. Also, Barou has defensive feats, too which I don't think shidou has any significant one.

Barou’s Ubers performance is better; considering he makes more defensive stops, more dribbles, scores just as many goals(against two metavision users) and doesn’t have a NG11 feeding him optimal passes. Also, Barou is a way better team player(mind you it’s only team playing with the intent of him to score, but Shidou barely even understands what passing is). That’s why I think Barou’s better.
My hot take: the World 5 (at least some of them) in the second selection are on the same level as the Master Strikers Adam Blake is the top scorer in the English league (out scoring Chris Prince) Luna is the ace striker of the best team in blue lock (Real Madrid/La Real) Pablo is 23 and already a world class passer (I’m not sure if there are enough feats to rank him better than Sae or Charles but we can assume he’s better because he’s on that level) Dada Silva….. yeah I got nothing for him but he’s definitely not fodder

I still think Barou is better than Shidou,as a striker and player.Aint gotta believe me just watch what happens post NEL.Also another reason is Shidou can’t take control over his team like Barou did if he was on Ubers,Barou was preforming so crazy in Ubers even Noa had to give him his pros as one of the best strikers.unless Noa does it next chapter,I don’t think he’ll see the same in Shidou especially since he scored first and the characters that score first that aren’t the main heart of their team get cooked the entire rest of the match.(What else did Bachira and Chigiri do after their goal?Absolutely nothing but lose every interaction).Also I don’t think Shidou will stay at the top for long.Hes my favorite character but he just isn’t endgame.And while I think it’s close I don’t think he’ll be better than players like Bachira,Nagi and Barou(I think he’s better but it’s debatable) for long.Also something to note Shidou’s always been on a team with a good passer.Barou’s never been on one.

Shidou in Ubers would be WAY better than Barou. A team with Snuffy's plans focusing on getting as many 1on1 situations for Shidou on the box is GG. That guy does not lose 1on1 duels on the box, that guy is a beast on those situations

My point is that Shidou is absolutelly great at one on one scenarios in the box and in a Snuffy plan centered around him he would not end up predictable. In summary Shidou with Barou's team and teammates would have more success in the NEL
I do get the plot armour point, not in that if Isagi wins it's plot armour, but more in that there's no limit to his genius weapon of adaptability. It's near impossible to think of a scenario that Isagi can't adapt right now. Every other genius has some sort of limit. For example, as it stands: Reo, being a genius of ambidextrity/versatility, can only copy something to 99% of its ability AT BEST. Chigiri's speed is a ticking time bomb on his stamina. Shidou's extreme spatial awareness around the box and insane athleticism has both the limitation of only working around the box and the downside of missing tons of shots. Barou for all his genius irrationality and ability, is limited in his intelligence all over the pitch and there's very little range to his genius midrange shot. Same with Nagi, Kunigami, Kaiser and even Rin, for all his monstrosity. But you'd struggle to find a scenario Isagi can't adapt to as it stands
Barou’s Hat Trick is over the U20 match Shido. If Barou had Sai passing for him he’d also go crazy. I hear what you’re saying about Shido doing well on Ubers but i think if Barou got his own team within the team like Shido he is also doing well.
he still has the stats of shidou , as seen by him saying that barou has the best overall shooting( if you check stats hes only beaten out by people who dedicate their self to one category i.e.: kunigami with power, Kaiser with speed, etc.), he's shown more ball movement then shidou( i actually really cant remember shidou touching the ball mostly) , his ego is imo the best in the series for bluelock ( though i could see an argument for isagi ), though i agree with you that shidou is a better player since he accomplished more without a team playing around him
For the isagi being the best striker, as of right now, he is 100% below rin, but is slightly above kaiser. I believe in the current game going on, that kaiser will evolve during it and go above isagi, devouring him, but then near the end of the match isagi brings it back and beats both rin and kaiser.

Charles is based of real life Zaire Emery. I think the debate is based off who has higher potential which I believe is Charles, he is a character who is going to grow like crazy through development under Loki

"Barou has a whole team working for him" is a dumb argument in a series about FREAKING STRIKERS. Should we also claim that pre-NEL Kaiser is a fraud coz BM was created for him? This is BL 101: teams revolve around strikers. That being said, I still believe Shidou edges it as a striker. To the King's credit, Barou and Rin are probably the only players to have scored in every match they've played since the 1st Selection, so I'd say Barou is arguably the BEST GOALSCORER amongst BL players. Where I edge Shidou is that Shidou has a higher range of goalscoring formulas than Barou. They're largely the same in taking tons of shots, crazy physicality, and obsession with scoring etc. but Barou has one central goalscoring formula (that crazy midrange shot) which can and has been stopped on occasion. Shidou's range of shots and in-the-box threat give him the edge for me
Also Isagi loses to Kaiser in stats but beats home based on mentality. Run stuffs him though. Also how you gonna come at comprehension and then glaze Nagi out the roof. So it seems like we're having debates on topics where its not even suitable. For one: Sae vs charles. Until the PxG matches inishes, i won't say who is better, because sae (as of writing this) has way more screen time than charles. But if there were debates i would participate in, it would be 1) Barou > Shidou. Though shidou in the box is unmatched, barou has better dribbling, finish, range, accuracy and a strong physique. Barou only played 3 games, yet he has scored 7. It should be mentioned that noel noa said he's the worlds best u20 striker. Now i do get that shidou and rin can't come into terms, but shidou has his own "system", yet in the barca vs pxg match, it was revealed that alot of his shots were off target (this isn't really a bad thing, since bluelock players almost never miss their shots). Now, your main argument is that barou would not do better than rin, but remember how in the U20 game, barou still managed to score, even with the likes of rin and isagi on his team. If he can do that, then its not hard to assume he could do the same in pxg And in the video, you even mention that barou is more consistent than shidou in terms of shooting, as well as having better technique. So why would still state shidou is above barou? And as for the question regarding barou exeeding shidou's performance in the U20 game: Ubers vs BM (scored 2 goals, took on multiple defenders, excelent positioning, blocked a shot, better football iq) Ubers vs MC (most likely scored 2 goals. We'll have to wait for episode nagi to catch up into the NEL) 2) Isagi being the best striker in the NEL is a bad take. Atm, hes better off as a CAM 3) Rin vs Kaiser. To boil it down: Overall: Rin. Striker: Kaiser. Kaiser has better finishing, range and positioning. But rin has amazing passes, shooting technique, interceptions, dribbling, you name it. 4) BM vs PXG is debatable, but if BM stops being retarded and works together (also getting rid of the 2 CB's), they're beating PxG
Irrelevant to the video but what I like about Blue Lock, particularly about Isagi is that the level up feel earned. I haven’t read in a while but back then it felt earned not just a random power up. Haven’t felt like this about a story in a while

You do know sae played against pre NEL bluelockers and he probably had meta vision, charles plays against NEL bluelockers who most of them have meta vision. I do think sae is better but the difference is not that big.

Barou is defo clear of shidou both in terms of statements and feats. Shidou and barou both have systems working to optimize their playstyles with Shidou also having one of the best if not the best playmakers in the NEL supporting him but barou is currently tied with Rin as the NELS leading scorer and should finish as the second highest scorer behind Rin if rin ends up scoring this game. remind you this is a Barou who played one less game and also got one of his goals stolen by sendou. in my opinion the only way to have shidou over barou is by glazing his U20 performance while good isnt AS good as alot of people make it out to be.

If bm plays like a team this play from isagi is like a pass or a born to that goal however kaiser is the one that developed that goal as for anyone else it could've been a failure so I think you cant say isagi was better just because he gave birth to the goal. Nah charles is better if you dont agree now then you will have to in the future. Hes 15 and playing at the NEL leauge and even loki said he has the potential to be the best in the world alongside him. Hes got ego unlike sae who just has a crushed one after versing the best in the world. most importantly we havent even seen much of charles gameplay whereas weve seen a lot of saes gameplay.

I do get the plot armour point, not in that if Isagi wins it's plot armour, but more in that there's no limit to his genius weapon of adaptability. It's near impossible to think of a scenario that Isagi can't adapt right now.
Every other genius has some sort of limit. For example, as it stands:
Reo, being a genius of ambidextrity/versatility, can only copy something to 99% of its ability AT BEST.
Chigiri's speed is a ticking time bomb on his stamina.
Shidou's extreme spatial awareness around the box and insane athleticism has both the limitation of only working around the box and the downside of missing tons of shots.
Barou for all his genius irrationality and ability, is limited in his intelligence all over the pitch and there's very little range to his genius midrange shot.
Same with Nagi, Kunigami, Kaiser and even Rin, for all his monstrosity. But you'd struggle to find a scenario Isagi can't adapt to as it stands

For the isagi being the best striker, as of right now, he is 100% below rin, but is slightly above kaiser. I believe in the current game going on, that kaiser will evolve during it and go above isagi, devouring him, but then near the end of the match isagi brings it back and beats both rin and kaiser.

That being said, I still believe Shidou edges it as a striker. To the King's credit, Barou and Rin are probably the only players to have scored in every match they've played since the 1st Selection, so I'd say Barou is arguably the BEST GOALSCORER amongst BL players.
Where I edge Shidou is that Shidou has a higher range of goalscoring formulas than Barou. They're largely the same in taking tons of shots, crazy physicality, and obsession with scoring etc. but Barou has one central goalscoring formula (that crazy midrange shot) which can and has been stopped on occasion. Shidou's range of shots and in-the-box threat give him the edge for me

So it seems like we're having debates on topics where its not even suitable.
For one: Sae vs charles. Until the PxG matches inishes, i won't say who is better, because sae (as of writing this) has way more screen time than charles.
But if there were debates i would participate in, it would be
1) Barou > Shidou. Though shidou in the box is unmatched, barou has better dribbling, finish, range, accuracy and a strong physique. Barou only played 3 games, yet he has scored 7. It should be mentioned that noel noa said he's the worlds best u20 striker. Now i do get that shidou and rin can't come into terms, but shidou has his own "system", yet in the barca vs pxg match, it was revealed that alot of his shots were off target (this isn't really a bad thing, since bluelock players almost never miss their shots).
Now, your main argument is that barou would not do better than rin, but remember how in the U20 game, barou still managed to score, even with the likes of rin and isagi on his team. If he can do that, then its not hard to assume he could do the same in pxg
And in the video, you even mention that barou is more consistent than shidou in terms of shooting, as well as having better technique. So why would still state shidou is above barou?
And as for the question regarding barou exeeding shidou's performance in the U20 game:
Ubers vs BM (scored 2 goals, took on multiple defenders, excelent positioning, blocked a shot, better football iq)
Ubers vs MC (most likely scored 2 goals. We'll have to wait for episode nagi to catch up into the NEL)
2) Isagi being the best striker in the NEL is a bad take. Atm, hes better off as a CAM
3) Rin vs Kaiser. To boil it down: Overall: Rin. Striker: Kaiser. Kaiser has better finishing, range and positioning. But rin has amazing passes, shooting technique, interceptions, dribbling, you name it.
4) BM vs PXG is debatable, but if BM stops being retarded and works together (also getting rid of the 2 CB's), they're beating PxG

Shidou and barou both have systems working to optimize their playstyles with Shidou also having one of the best if not the best playmakers in the NEL supporting him but barou is currently tied with Rin as the NELS leading scorer and should finish as the second highest scorer behind Rin if rin ends up scoring this game. remind you this is a Barou who played one less game and also got one of his goals stolen by sendou. in my opinion the only way to have shidou over barou is by glazing his U20 performance while good isnt AS good as alot of people make it out to be.

5:24 Yeah that ain't true Shidou and Rin were competing in the match against the ubers and Shidou lost, he only scored once and then Rin score the two others. The others times Loki used the infinite sub system so Shidou and Rin can have their own team working for them and results are wild. they had two matches when they didn't have to play at the same time and Shidou only managed to score in one of those games. shidou shot 12 times and got only 3 shots on targets.

Nah charles is better if you dont agree now then you will have to in the future. Hes 15 and playing at the NEL leauge and even loki said he has the potential to be the best in the world alongside him.
