    I'm working on my first combination of machine embroidery and FMQ wall hanging. I have it almost completed and just started the binding. I enjoyed it a lot as I used redwork designs (using black thread) and used Inktense pencils to color them in. So really trying to mix things up. Love your birds and butterflies and can't wait to see what you do with it.

    Penny, Thank you! I think a wall hanging on this order would make a neat gift. I think I could even be able to do it! Sometimes I think projects have to be complicated. I do not have an embroidery machine, but a similar project could use applique, couldn't it? Great inspiration!

      I’m almost done with the marking! I love birds, flowers and butterflies! I may at times fill in the letters but not filling them in gives more pop, which is what I usually like. Not filling them in also keeps everything from blending all together.
