    If your time schedule is not set up right this would not work would it ? Nothing works for me ?

    IV added CCTV microphone to channel 1 . I can hear live audio but no audio when I playback the recording. Does anyone know why or if this option works on same system as your video?

    Am I getting it wrong you say you don’t yous schedule but at the end set it to schedule I can’t get that recording icon to come up Iv got it set up to 24 h no matter what one I put it on it won’t come up and it’s not recording?

    My cameras where working till a few hours ago and recording then it jumped a few times now stopped recording can't get it to record again I've followed ya video but nothing I've reset and everything and still won't record

      can you confirm the cameras are showing picture on the screen? If not, you must have issue with the cameras.
      If you can see the cameras picture on the screen, but no records nore playback, you need to check if the DVR detects your hard drive.

    Hi CCTV fans. Our 4 camera playback ended up having random breaks in the recording after working fine from new for about 1 year, it had a hd pre installed. I swapped it out for an old pc hd which was formatted and it worked fine again for the next year or so but now it's breaking the recordings again. I tried the original drive and it's still the same. All 4 camera recording breaks are not equal but around the same times. It's set to 24hr record. What's going on with it?

      this could be the hard drive faulty. You can test the DVR with a brand new hard drive and see if the recording issue remains.

    How do I record for longer than 24hrs, if I go on holiday and my cars get broken into bit pointless having a cctv system.

      normaly, 1TB hard drive can record for 7 days continuous recording. If you need it record longer, you can replace the hard drive with larger capacity.

      make sure your system installed an internal hard drive and the DVR recognises the hard drive.
      Go to the main menu>record>record config, schedule the record settings.

      try the camera with another power cable to verify whether it is the camera or cable issue.

      It is 98% of the time a faulty power supply. Those octopus multi cables are sometimes junk.

      go to the main menu>system>network and disenable the DHCP and set a static I P address

    I want to keep recording only for 1 week in TV of cctv cameras so how can I set for only 1 week recording of cameras?????????????

      Most CCTV DVRs will overwrite when the storage is full.

    My herbal escaped and chewed through the camera cable. I have replaced the cable and the cameras are working. Now nothing is being recorded I tried to follow this video to enable but I get a system login box which says I lack authority. Any ideas?

    In playback mode, I constantly get a popup window to say hard drive is full. How do I avoid this ?

      Most DVRs can overwrite the old video when the storage is full. You can check the DVR setting and enable the overwrite when storage is full.

      @@SanscoDirect Yes, for sure. I have looked all through the menus. Overwrite is checked but this dumb "storage is full" message comes up after 5 or 6 days. So I cancel that and go to re-format the HD and the same message pops ups 3 or 4 more times. DH81NK is the model number.

      @@lindasurek4578 hi, you can find the DVR alarm setting and turn off the setting( or similar setting), main menu-alarm-abnormally, event type, storage is full-show message"
      If you still have he storage full message, please contact your supplier for further assistance.

      Please go to the main menu>advanced>storage to confirm whether the HDD status is normal.
      Main menu>record> record config, be sure you enabled the record for all channel 24 hours.

    My Sansco doesn't detect the USB drive when I put it in, do you know how to fix this?

      the DVR will need an intgernal hard drive for recording. After you install a hard drive, you can insert the USB stick to the DVR and backup the records. Can you confirm the DVR installed a hard drive?

      Hi, Can you access the DVR main mne and view the camera on the local screen? If yes, please check if the HDD is normal status, Go to the main mneu>advanced>storage.

      the DVR will need an internal hard drive for recording. Can you confirm your DVR preinstalled the hard drive?

      you can enable the regular recording mode, it will record in continuousmode.

      Click the manual selection and go to each cameras display and double click then click the record icon in the selection. You will see the record icon on the bottom of each camera display do this for each camera. you will then be recording 24/7
