Have a problem with my tv with the same specs and cards. Just wont start. No standby light. Dont know what the problem is. Worked just the other day. I have measuerd with a "powerpen" and I have power all the way to the card.
I have a Samsung power supply board that has blown a surface mount diode. I can't find a schematic for that board. Is there any way to figure out what to replace it with?
Interesting, viperfrank had one of those little ceramic caps fail short in a recent repair too. Maybe its a low quality batch that all the cheapo manufacturers like Vestel bought up.
Haah, I'm using the same board to produce a video series on SMPS repair. Now that coincidence is funny, especially when it shows how small TH-cam is in fact, despite zillions of videos, just clicked on yours by pure coincidence, without YT search. Regarding the ceramic cap, the design is awful. There is a high voltage trace running right below the cap, and the cap sits less than a milimeter above it. This trace is not connected to any of the two leads. Such design is destined to fail... Good repair though.
