I personally think atm she’s up there with most powerful considering she literally closed an incursion…after absorbing energy from carol and Kamala while she was wearing both bangles (that overwhelmed that villian lady (don’t care at all about her 🤭) because it had too much energy that she couldn’t handle.the same bangles where even one of them could destroy a planet and draw energy possible destroy our sun. And she did all this and hasn’t even reached her peak yet.🤯
She is the kind of chracter that Avengers EMH would done great. I think that in fact there are some pictures of a design for her and she looks great. It is a shame that the show was canceled. If X men could come back, maybe Avengers EMH also could.
She is definitely up there with the most powerful! Being able to absorbed energy puts her in the top tier list. Her, Scarlett Witch, Phoenix etc. Even in Wandavision without understanding her powers she was able to absorbed Wanda’s powers when she tried to throw her to the ground!
If the MCU ever gets to the World War Hulk and he becomes a great danger to Earth, she will come in handy in doing this, if all else fails and if the other superheroes are defeated by the rampaging Hulk. Her potential is to be a "goddess of light and energy".
Monica is number 1 easily. she can be invincible and intangible... she can shoot powerful energy beams, she hurt dar benn so much and she was toe to toe and she got hit by the universal weapon which has the power of the power stone. she even took the power of carol 's photon fireish beam and she absorbed kamalas QUANTUM BAND energy which is extremely powerful. If she is in her full form with a lot of energy(like the time she absorbed carols and kamalas energy beams) then she can beat wanda(even scarlet witch form or angry form), thanos(even with infinity stones), doctor strange, ultron, and even the eternals or jean grey.
All very true, but ultimately if she can’t control it, those abilities can’t be used to their fullest potential which is why i ranked her in the spot I did. But I’m positive when we see her next, she’ll be #1 :)

She could become intangible though so if she cannot absorb the phoenix force then it is Monica: probably a 30% chance of winning and Jean is 70%. If Monica can absorb the Phoenix force(which she probably can... If she is a mutant like she is rumored to be then she can definitely absorb it) then she is gonna win. There is NO WAY she can lose if she can absorb the Phoenix force because the Phoenix force is the only way Jean can fight her.
I'ma be honest. Where this failed was the MCU giving Carol Monica's origin and codename. Then dumbing her down to "Carol's niece", thus hindering her character and giving her the "Marvel trope" of making black characters (sans Fury, BP, and Luke Cage) subservient and sidekicks to their white counterparts.
100%!!! That's my biggest issue with the direction they're taking sam wilson in the mcu rn! They actually did a decent job building him up as his own hero, but now sam, monica, rhodey, and even riri williams are just being given handme downs rather than being built up as their own heroes! Hopefully with the introduction of various x-men, and other heroes like wonder-man we can get some proper non-patronizing black representation going forward! 🤞🏿
Honestly to rank her it would be kind of complicated because like you said she has so much potential😮 But I would definitely bring her higher than Carol Danvers, I think you did a good job I think you bring to her right next to the Scarlet witch and that's probably where she would need to be. Now if she comes in contact with the celestial like she did in the comics and they blast her and she absorbs it and learns how to use their power then yeah she's on another level😂 But I do know at one point she was able to stop to parallel Earths from colliding with themselves so that was really cool In terms of the MCU I do love how they don't instantly make her overpowered ✨ She's literally just a person coming into herself and I actually really love that🎉

They did a great job establishing her abilities, and us getting to witness her grow and come into her powers through her appearance in the first captain marvel movie and wandavision really helped with that! Im sure when we see her next she’d have gained better control and refined her abilities and will definitely surpass carol, hulk, and maybe even match wanda! But I’d best compare monica to how wanda was in age of ultron! A lot of pure raw power but little control. Nonetheless, I’m VERY excited for her future 🤞🏿😁
bro did you like the marvels? because a lot of people said it was horrible but sincerely I think it's because it's a moment that everyone is saying shit about superhero stuff, OK of course the movie is not excellent but for me it was pretty decent ya know? I mean, it is definitely not one of the most memorable marvel movies but I had fun while watching u know? for me THE best thing about the movie was ms marvel and the worst thing was the villain.
I actually did enjoy the movie! there were some scenes that were kinda dumb (like the cats on the spaceship, and the villian) but other than that, I had a good time watching it! They FINALLY gave Carol more depth with her character, I personally loved everything they did with Monica, and even though I didn't watch the ms marvel show, I still found her character enjoyable! The action scenes were great and the jokes were decent! I think most people (myself included) were tired of the low quality writing among other things in the mcu shows and movies post endgame. And the marvels was the last straw for a lot of people! I'd place the marvels right behind Guardians 3 and No way Home for post endgame movies!

Based on what youre saying , Monica is the most powerful being in the MCU period. If you can manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum , you are pretty much more poweful than even Doctor Doom and scarlett witch. You can rewrite reality and obliterate realities.

I’m hoping marvel utilizes her crazy powers in one of the upcoming Avengers movies, but sadly due to the movies poor reception, they might nerf her powers or not give much attention to the marvels
