Title should be "One of the best Trains to the South" (not train). I used to take this train to BZA in the 1980s. Used to get high priority even then.
Legends are not born overnight, they become legends with their deeds. This is absolutely true with this legendary train called the Tamilnadu Express. I have travelled many times with this train because of its punctuality, service, the quality of foods in its pantry and the great stations it crosses through. Even the staff in this train are also great.

I have emotional touch with this train since 2019. started my job in Chennai. I come three to four times in a year by this train but I feel very good while going to Delhi ( my hometown) and little sad while coming to Chennai.
But Chennai is my karma bhoomi 🙏🙏

This train has a very long and stories history. One of the most important trains of IR. The other legendary train is the Grand Trunk Express !! Also the TN Express starts very slowly, but once it reaches the outskirts, it starts flying
Hi Sandeep: Very nice vlog on the journey in Tamil Nadu Express. This brings back a lot of memories. Our family shifted to Delhi from Chennai in 1975 and I have made many a trip on this train and GT Express from Delhi to Chennai and back especially during summer holidays.

Regarding throwing garbage out of the train is exactly like most do, throwing garbage out of the house on to the streets. Why could not those be collected in trash bags and dropped off in the next railway stations in designated dumpsters.

Good afternoon Sandeep ji. When I travelled with this train in 1987. Itarsi jn was not it's stoppage. Rather from Bhopal next stop was Nagpur. Still remember those days 🙏🙏
Itarsi got its name by "eeta(eent)", (literally means brick in Hindi) and "rassi", (literally means rope in Hindi). Bricks and ropes had been made earlier in itarsi. Lovely vlog bhai ji

Maine be journey liya is train pe 2014 pe Delhi to nagpur.....is train ki stopage bahut hi kam hai ...one of the best super fast express I had seen....Maine jab journey liya ta to tab ye train ki coaches blue colour ki ti now aan red ho gayi hai....

The well known traiin between New Delhi and Chennai Central was the GT Express. Do not whether it still exist or not. Later on came trains like Tamil Nadu Express and Rajdhani Express.

yes it is best speed train in south india but nowadays it s slow right now because why im saying means AP express leaves vijayawada ay 3.40 am reaches delhi at 6.00 am next day same tamilnadu express leaves vijayawada at 3.45 am reaches dellhi at 7.20 am next day why this difference tell me
During my tenure in kerala I always visited through itrasi nagpur route. Your video reminded me of those moments. Now I am in ranchi which is very close to my home town.
Bhai .. very nice VLOG. I have however to point out that TN express was never run at 120-130 kmph when it was started. At that time India had only 1 class of locomotive that could do 130 kmph and that was the WDM4 and that locomotive never hauled the TN express . TN was always hauled by a WDM2 at its inception and without re-gearing WDM2s could never hit 120 kmph.

The TN is running late by 1 to 1 n half hours per day due to slowing down, may be in view of the safety involved with it. It was really the fastest train in ICF days but where and how it is detained, I don't know, may be the new generation Humsafar or premium AC like trains, the Railways are more bothering about. Not only TN, but a cluster of flagship trains are meeting with the same fate. Perhaps at this point the Railways are more concerned with Vande Bharats that are in force and upcoming Vande Metros or Vande Sleepers. We are going to miss a handful of wonderful trains associated with a glorious history at the past.
