I can only talk about the privileges I have - interview with Frédéric Castiau

Frédéric Castiau is a Brussels based artist. He currently participates in the exhibition HOSTING at the Centrale for Contemporary Art in Brussels. There he shows three works.
The first work, "CdR - Certificat de Residence," proves that he is a Brussels resident. This was the condition to be able to participate in the HOSTING exhibition.
The second work, 'Tellement Heureux a Bruxelles', is a photograph which shows a shelter that a homeless person has built against an old Brussels customs house. In past times, one could enter Brussels only by paying a fee at such a customs house.
The third work 'six Drapeaux Pour Pays Imaginaires' consists of six little oil on wood works, every little work showing the flag of a new imaginary country. Every new flag is a mix of the flag of one of the richest countries on earth and a flag of one of the poorest countries.
Frédéric talks about the three works and also about the privileges he has as an old white man living in Brussels, Belgium.
