I've been a huge fan of this band ever since one of my friends said they opened a local show for them in my town, back when their first album Scripted first came out. I even messaged with Ariel before they got even half as big as they are now, and I just adore what they've done and how far they've come! Your breakdown of everything for this song (and many others) is so amazingly in depth and intelligent, you sir have a new subscriber!
Something you will learn about this band as you dig deeper into them. They don’t just make the music and play shows. They really, truly connect with their fan base. They are not the biggest, most popular or most well known band by any means, but they raised over a quarter of a million dollars on their last Kickstarter. To be able to do that, you HAVE to have a strong connection and bond with your fan base. I’ve been a fan since 2011 when their debut album Scripted came out. Been hooked ever since and have seen them live 8 times. They never disappoint.
I should do a reaction to a song off of their debut album Scripted. Make A Move was their first big hit. Or Get Well. Cheers dude!
I've been a fan of Icon for Hire for years. Their songs have helped me through hard times. Some of the most powerful imo are "Hope of Morning", "Under the Knife" and "You Can't Kill Us".
I would highly suggest any of those to react to next. So glad you've found them.
Nice job Chase after your 1st reaction to this band I had to check out everything they had and I'm a huge fan. I also found out that they are from just 2 hours away from where I live so as soon as live shows are back I'm seeing them for sure.
I've heard songs by them for years pop up in my playlists but never bothered to look up any info until recently. Had no idea they are from Decatur.
This last year not having concerts has really made me appreciate the bands I have seen and added a ton of bands to the list of ones I want to see before it's too late.

You should react to a band called skynd. They do “true crime music” they write songs about serials killers and mysterious/evil events. They form their music from the things that actually happened and or that were said. The way you analyze things, you may get a kick out them

I've been following their music for yeqr and have seen them several times and watching them led me to following you. Their music is so great and yet their use of video to give a whole new dynamic to their music is extraordinary... I must suggest you react to "Hollow"

I would like to introduce you to another awesome unique project: SKYND with "Columbine" th-cam.com/video/qmtUHZ1nv9E/w-d-xo.html - They are an industrial band making music about true crime. Columbine is their latest production and is (obviously) about that infamous school shooting. But SKYND do tell their stories (they have 6 other songs out currently) in a way that explicitly does not glorify the perpetrators, but focus on the victims. Their other songs are about Jim Jones, Richard Ramirez, Tyler Hadley, Gary Heidnik (this one ft. Jonathan Davis from Korn), Katherine Knight, and the mysterious case of Elisa Lam, about which there is currently a Netflix documentary series out there. Each and every case/song is researched into the very last detail and that reflects in their songs, lyrics, and videos. And at the same time, the musical production is also super awesome. I know that you will love their music. I can promise you, once you have entered SKYND's dark place, you will want to explore all that is to find in there.

I recommend Curse or Cure next from Icon For Hire or their song Hollow. I think you would like both of them and the music videos for them are some of their best, but I think Brittle is the top music video from them. The Last One Standing music video is amazing, but the Brittle music video had me so emotional when I watched it yesterday. I think Brittle right now is my favorite Icon For Hire song. It's so powerful and then the music video to go with it. Dude, I'm just blown away.

Hi Chase, I just came over here from Tank's channel where I listened to Andrew W.K.'s new song Babalon and it blew my mind. It blends 70s/80s metal melodies with modern metal riffs. the closest comparison I cam make to Ariel as a vocalist is: part Amy Lee and/or Hayley Williams, part Nikki Minaj. she can hit the notes singing like Amy and Hayley, then can flow like Nikki and go back and forth nearly effotlessly
I skipped over watching icon for hire's reaction video of your reaction (I got busy and forgot about it not because I didn't want to watch it) thats so awesome you got seen by them and they filmed that reaction ill go watch it after this will you do a reaction video of their entire amorphous album? Or maybe previous music videos from other albums? I've been in icon army for a few years I love all their music personally there's not been a song I disliked
