    Hello from Japan!
    I didn’t know Josh was retired…
In 2019 World cup, when I watched Wales game, Josh stood out and I fell in love with him❤
Since then, I love watching him and Wales game.
So sad to hear that we can’t watch him play in 2023 France World Cup.

Navidi always impressed me as a very effective loosie, every game he stood out, and from a Saffa that's high praise...good luck going forward Josh.

@@andrewp1075 it's high praise because if there's anything SA rugby churns out it's loose forwards. We have so many loose forwards of international quality it's ridiculous... most other positions especially at 10 it's very slim pickings. In fact Nick Mallet once mused about making up a team entirely of loose forwards... so yeah I don't get excited about other loosies often

Short sighted view from the WRB - just look at welsh rugby today - what’s the answer 🤔

Clubs would have a bit more money for players if all the players, instead of being sullen celebs, had contractual.roles to REALLY market the game and their club. If you just like staying in doing curls and drinking your protein shakes , fine but people will carry on not caring about rugby in Wales any more

Couple of weeks ago ye. Only 32. Neck injuries I think just became too much. Great player.

@@Mojo-IRE Yeah he was a very good player for Wales, doesn't help the Welsh squad going into the world Cup or next year's six nations.

The cap rule is the only thing keeping the Welsh Regions from total collapse. If all the good players go to France, England or Japan there’ll be too few player available to sustain four Regions. Scottish rugby is only viable because of the huge number of imports. Welsh fans don’t support the Regions anyway because they rarely win anything.

The region's are a failed experiment, they need to be scrapped. Sadly Welsh rugby is doomed to fail, vested interests will ensure it moves backwards not forwards.
I have no idea what the alternative is, but what is currently in place is not fit for purpose, from top to bottom.
