    I really like the way you explain your decision making with the whole hand in context. You're doing X on the flop to set up Y on the turn.
    You do a great job of establishing ranges without going full Doug Polk rant for each hand, especially if it's fairly standard.
    I also really like the way you take opponents play and the general field into consideration. In my experience, this is arguably the most important thing you can do once you understand ranges and position. And genuinely not enough people talk about it.
    Great content, and great play. I can tell just by the way you talk about the game and think about it, you're 100% a winning player on 2/5 and lower - which is honestly where most people play and it's very hard to find good content on.
    Thanks so much for all your content man. I love it!

    Dude, had almost exactly the same results the other day on a really juicy, action table. Just kept getting beat by suck outs and worse starting hands. My biggest loss ever at 2500. That's variance and poker for you. It'll come back around

    This session demonstrates how tough hold’um is. If all your good hands are second best, you are going to lose period! I think most players with your cards would have lost more. Keep firing as your game is very solid and you will win more than you will lose over the long run.

      @acealexander6852 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree. Betting turn sets up all 3 options to be reasonabale for the river. Big bluff, big value, or just check call all becomereasonable but the pot and thus the value is larger if he bets turn.

    I appreciate you put it all together and shown the to us, so I will analyze every hand you brought up.
    KTh, PF - ok. F - c-bet ok. T - bet larger $70. R - x/f to any bet. It's an overcard, + CO must have a reason calling all streets. That reason might be we're owned.
    43h, PF - ok. F - it's a fold. No enough equity to call. Bluffing into 2 opponents on this board - out of question.
    AKo, PF - $40 raise. BTN is straddler, so he has incentive to call anything being IP and already $10 in. F - c-bet. Large $60. On this board, BTN either has a pair +, or worse. If worse, no point keeping him in. It could be dangerous. BTW, top pair is just a pair! Checking was a wrong play. T - c-bet. AT, 9T, did not supposed to call large F c-bet. So, keep shooting. Large. Extract max out of weaker pair, and This will tell you what to do on river, had you been called here.
    JTh, PF - limp/raise. Or just a fold. Weak hand does not do good post flop, no pint raising while OOP. (no commenting on later streets).
    QQ, PF - ok. F - c-bet ok. Calling raise is out of question. No (drawing hand) reading - no call. CO is OOP, so a flush draw x/r is also unlikely. So, cannot count on it. If that happen to be (front door flush draw), then so be it. You're owned here! Therefore - no raise, not call a 3!-bet shove!
    _EDIT: continuation of analysis_
    32d, PF - ok. F - check back. c-bet is wrong against 3 opponents. This board is all their range.
    AQo, PF - raise to $80+. ($60 too small for a speculative hand against 3 opponents, of which 1 is on straddle and IP). F - check back ok. T - is a bet. Bet large. (can't tell how much as the hand context is different due to PF action). R - fold. If called big turn bet, m then a FH is possible here at opponent's hammering river.
    A5c, PF - fold to a large PF raise! Calling, you rely on flop board cards only. "A" is not your out...so, flush only or 2 pairs (). Fold and never look back. F - not good, as discussed. (no point calling here whatsoever).
    QJo, PF - call ok. F - fold. There's an overcard, Opponent's range. Just fold an inferior hand.
    AKo, FOLD! (Yes, I scream....cuz, AKo is a speculative hand. Risking whole stack with it while in inferior position is a disaster).
    .
    Hope, this helps. Cheers!

    I play with the same exact type of poker players here locally. They never bluff. If you’re getting raised,99% of the time you are way behind. Just fold,eat it and don’t say what your cards were. This only encourages the other players to call your raise preflop if they see they felt you if they get lucky. That’s why they leave immediately after. They know they are just gambling and hit and run.
    This has been happening to me for 3 months straight. I stopped playing for awhile and had to readjust my mental health. Lol.

    Truth, the location of your session will determine the type of action you should expect. Tampa or Hollywood Hard Rock expect to see multiple players see a flop regardless of pre flop action. South Florida is a vacationers paradise. That means literally “boat” loads of disposable income. For players used to seeing by the book or GTO say this…. Welcome to the jungle. And you Uros going ballistic at the table when no one folds to your 4 bet KK’s that get cracked again. lol you came a long way to get slapped around. Thanks for the donations. GL K

    More and more poker is becoming/has become just a luckfest. Skill matters less and less except in tournaments. Cash games are just bingo now.
    I really hate the way poker is played almost everywhere now. It's almost impossible to go heads up in a cash game and players call with such wide ranges just trying to get lucky. It's sickening.

    • @MaTTer1235
      @MaTTer1235 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's the way poker has always been played it's just that you're now noticing. People really wanna overestimate the skill aspect so they can sell their poker courses and offer coaching which is largely unnecessary imo. Always better to be lucky than good in poker.

    • @cpataxpro
      @cpataxpro 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @MaTTer1235 Lol, your comment is mathematically nonsensical. The phrase is NOT "always" ... it's "I'd rather be lucky than good" and it is used as a jest and NOT as a poker truism.
