USPGA Pros have been heard to say the Melbournes sand belt courses are the best ( Royal Melbourne and Kingston Heath).
I live 25 miles from Pinehurst #2...was awesome to watch you guys take that course on. I definitely feel like Mark and how he has unfinished business there. It can beat you up but it's impossible to have a bad time around that course.
Agreed! Was really fun to plat it the day we did too as the clubhouse was packed for the final round of The Masters and we could hear the roars from the course! Made us feel like we were being cheered on despite the rubbish golf we played... ;-)
The Deuce is an awesome place to watch a sporting event! such a fun place!
Iceland was my fav episodes
I was gutted to miss out on that trip...it did look like an epic place to play golf!

Lockeys reaction to his shot at Pinehurst is easily my favourite of the year 👌🏼
It was a mental shot. I remember standing in the bunker on the far side of the fairway and hearing all the commotion. Obviously I didn't really know what had happened until I saw it on cam!
Shame someone had to rain on his parade with a 4 point birdie from the bunker immediately after he'd hit that shot...

I really loved the Pinehurst no. 2. It reminded me about one golf holiday trip I did with my friends and the course we played here in Finland. Now I'm eagerly waiting for the same weekend with my friends playing golf on that same course. For 2018 I wanna go abroad to play golf. Maybe in Estonia, Sweden or Turkey.

Both you and Mark are doing fantastic jobs with your channels! I love the content. As you are well aware my buck list destination for 2018 is Ireland! My favorite golf destination that I took of 2017 was the Emerald Bay Resort in Great Exuma Bahamas! All inclusive food, alcohol and golf! I also played in Hilton Head Island SC. Great location as well.
Oh yes bruh...really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Ireland when you get back from your trip! You've picked some great courses to play that's for sure!
My bucketlist 2018 trip would be to play a few rounds with the crew. You and the Muppets. Course vlogs are hysterical, in person gotta be epic. The Spain trip was a great set of vlogs

Oh my word favourite vlogs? Tough question. Definitely greatest 18 because of the insight to so much information. Shows little snippets of lots of course and really gives you a feel for the area. You and dan beating up Mark and coach in Kent.

Bucket list course would be pebble beach. I have had a look around and I have a great picture of me at the 7th but I never played there. Hard to chose the best Vlog this year as there have been so many good ones but watching you all get taken apart at pinehurst number 2 was a real treat.
Haha Pinehurst certainly got the better of us that's for sure! Pebble would be a dream...just imagine the drone footage!
That course in France looked amazing.
It's fantastic and what's more; it's really, really good value for money.

Absolutely loving your videos Rory. As an American I like your trips over here because I love watching Mark struggle to read the greens. I agree with other comments though that you need to get yourselves to Australia. Or a west coast American trip. We have some great courses out here that not many people know about. Very well done Rory. Hard to pick just 1. I've enjoyed them all. As far as a picking a course that id love to go too. In my opinion any course is a vacation getaway, weather it be my local course or a course 1000's of miles away. Im just grateful i can get out and play. I guess it's the fun factor. And thanks to you guys for making it fun when im not out there hacking away !

My highlight was playing a gorgeous course (glenelg) in Australia in 2017. It was incredible. My highlights of watching you guys were too many to list but I did enjoy the pinehurst vlogs and Iceland just looked unreal. My bucket list for 2018 is playing anywhere with you, Mark and Coach 👍
Gleneagles is the best course I’ve ever played just immaculate, but a tour in Scotland would be great. Keep the videos coming 👍

Bucket List: 3 weeks in Southwest Ireland. Start in Cork and work counter-clockwise around towards the west and then north, up the coast. Kinsale, Kenmare, Waterville, Killarney, Dooks, Dingle, Tralee, Ballybunion, Doonbeg, Lahinch...

Rory, love the Turkey mention, have played both Gloria courses, the Sultan and also the National which was fantastic. Want to get out there to play Carya, Lykia Links and the Faldo Maxx Royal.
Really enjoyed the France trip as played those courses before, Belle Dune is just a brilliant track.
If I could go somewhere new this year, would go for Yas Links over in UAE
Yas is brilliant.
Funny story...played there with a colleague (5 handicapper) and both shot 93 (#7)...then proceeded to have a few beers in the clubhouse, a few more with dinner...then teed off for 9 holes of night golf and both shot level par. Silly game isn't it?! ;-)

Turkey is a must.. going for the 5th year in a row in February. Courses are a great standard, all inclusive hotels & normally very quiet. The deals you can get at this time of the year are ridiculous!

It's hard to pick just one course/destination vlogs as they are all great but if I'm pushed I would have to say Pinehurst No2. You should put Thailand on your bucket list, I live there now most of the year and the golf, weather, people, etc are second to none.
Love Thailand...stayed in Phuket for a couple of weeks a few years back and played 11 rounds at Blue Canyon which was brilliant! Defo need to see more of the country...

Great blog Rory. There’s a great golf club called west malling. It has two courses the hurricane and spitfire courses. You guys should definitely head back to Kent for that. They’ve got a beautiful website with hole tips and guides too.

Yes Ray Barnbougle was OMG. Two courses there, The Dunes and Lost Farm. Also have Ocean Dunes and Cape Wickham on King Island plus heaps more in Tasmania. If you get a chance do a Google image search for 'the chasm tasman golf course'. Not the place for a #thinbullet. Thx for replying.

I think the Spain courses were the best but the Christmas special was hilarious. You guys should check out the Silverado resort and courses in Napa California!

Given the rise in the number in the pro ranks of far eastern golfers (esp on the Ladies tour) Korea has to be worth a visit, surely, for a completely different type of experience.... ?

bucket list is a tour of ireland for a week , old head and portrush on the courses to play list.
enjoyed most of your vlogs this past year,favourites were close house masters and your million mile trip round Andaluscia in a week vlogs.. would like to see a bit more info about courses you play on the vlogs, like greenfees and clubhouse facilities, maybe a 5 minute introduction to the course you are playing, where it is on a map, can the course do a good bacon butty, a look round the proshop, then you can entertain me with lockeys rocketball, Marks taylormade clriving , and your puff wedge shots.

It's a little tricky to talk about prices etc as they fluctuate subject to season and even what day of the week you're looking to travel sometimes. So we're always wary that if we reference a price, let's say in low season, and it doesn't match up with someone enquiring in high season, that we might disappoint someone and appear to be misleading. Hope this makes sense...

I enjoy your vlogs on this because you are such a great presenter. You do a great job in telling us about the course. As an American I really enjoy seeing your videos (and Mark's) on courses in America. If would be nice to see people come up to you guys as you're recording. I'm not sure if you guys edit that stuff out (I just like to see people recognize you guys). South West Ireland - loads of amazing courses to play e.g Ballybunion, Old Head Kinsale Norman designed course is insane. Also Waterville and love to try new course Hogs Head. All in short distance to each other. Good craic too in pubs and restaurants.

Lockey's never been to Ireland full stop which is just criminal...I've also played lots of courses (Ballybunion, Lahinch, Tralee, Doonbeg and all the courses at Killarney GC) down on the South West coast and they're brilliant.

My bucket list destination would be Ireland/Scotland so much history and fantastic golf! I know it’s not an often thought of destination but you all should look into the great golf around my neck of the woods here in Indiana/Kentucky. The French Lick Resort and Valhalla just to name a few. Thanks for the great vlogs and keep up the good work in 2018!

Bucket list trip of all time would have to be the masters and giving pinehurst a go.
Realistic trip would like to do a tour of St Andrews, carnoustie, kingsbarns.

I have seen various bits and bobs from Streamsong and you're right...it does look pretty epic!

Personal fan of the UK courses. From my experience Porthmadog GC and a couple of other courses round there would be something I would love to see. Its a truly stunning golf course

As long as the 4ball is #7 Coach Get up Dan & #262 best to play a course with no trees on the right of the tee for Coach. No medium height bushes in front of tee for Dan. Narrow tee box so Ray can't stand too far from the ball and a course that's been Titleist approved for Mark. Should keep everyone happy all the trolls included. Keep the great Vlogs coming.

I'm a little surprised golfing the Monterey Peninsula courses (Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, Spy Glass, Cypress Point, and/or Poppy Hills) didn't get mentioned by someone for a 2018 bucket list trip. Maybe you can consider for 2019.

The 4 of you spending a few weeks in Aus would be amazing! So many nice courses in Victoria and Tasmania. You’d probably only need 2 weeks and you would be able to play 10 top courses in that time with no time issues.
Sounds great Rhys and I'm sure we'll get there one day. We just need to convince Mark it's a good idea to leave his family behind for that long a time...not the easiest when you've got three little'uns.

Your Golf Travel I saw you asked for some good courses on another thread - outside of the top private courses like Royal Melbourne and Kingston Heath, there are several other public access courses in Tasmania and Victoria alone - have a look at Barnbougle Dunes, Lost Farm, Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes. Those 4 are located in pretty isolated areas, so for a group of 4, the best bet is to fly on a charter flight out of Melbourne stopping in Tasmania for a few days to play both courses, then onto King Island to play the other 2, then back to Melbourne. You actually land on the property at Barnbougle, step off the plane and onto the course. There is really nice accommodation on site, it’s a relatively cost effective way to do it and I’m sure the charter company would love to get you on board!
Some other top courses; The National, The Dunes, St Andrews Beach, Moonah Links, 13th Beach.
Looking forward to more content in 2018!

Brautarholt GC was my favourite for 2017. St Georges or the great Irish courses like Royal County Down, Ballybunion, Royal Portrush, etc for 2018. I would love the muppets to come to Australia & New Zealand, but understand the long haul is terrible.
There is a hidden gem near Aberdeen Cruden Bay GC. My favourite ever.

I loved the America trip. Especially the vlogs with the people who had lessons. Best course of the year for me has to be clovelly country club in Cape Town. You need to bring the muppet tour to Cape Town.

Been desperate to head out to South Africa with The Muppets ever since I went there on a family holiday in 2015. Some amazing golf courses and of course so much more to do and see off the course!

I liked the vlogs to Spain especially La Reserva &, Finca Cortesin, the Azores looked superb & the Masters trip well what can you say they build great courses but the highlight for me was Iceland.
For this year I have already been talking to YGT Alice about some of these places but have been unable to persuade my golf buddies as yet, I even priced up Princes for them but still no joy so I wish you'd called me up to go.
Would also be very cool to arrange something at carnoustie or in fairness any of the open venues (make it happen raymondo)

YGT should take the boys to Tenerife for a couple of days: Abama and the black sand bunkers on Golf del Sur but Buena Vista in the north will blow your mind for colours and scenery...

Your Golf Travel trust me...Buena Vista is actually better than Abama visually...and it's municipal..you'll have comedy driving there (you'll see) but check out it's website and promo vids...the colours of the sea contrasting with flora and fairways it's incredible..plus sea spray as you stand over a couple of putts...it's genuinely mind blowing...cheap too! 👍
Pinehurst No 2 and the Masters are both my favourite and also my bucket list. To be fair, anywhere would be awesome at the moment as it’s so wet in Manchester. Hope you guys are back at The Masters this year?

Your Golf Travel fantastic golf course but very expensive,have a great 2018.
Expensive is an interesting concept to me when it comes to golf.
If we think about how much we're happy to pay to "rent" (essentially what a green fee is) other sports facilities, then consider the massive cost associated with maintaining a top class golf course in comparison, as well as the amount of time you've "rented" it for...costly green fees feel a little less "expensive" to me.
That's just my two cents though...
