This isnt an attack on the video, more so the gacha reaction community as a whole, but i have a small complaint. Whenever a video is for a gender nuetral character a woman is used to represent them. I feel that is can me incredibly misleading especially for those that just was some representation. Im not going to pin the blame on anyone, but i feel that the claim of gender nuetral representation in a video should be truthful and not a disquise of f!y/n. I personally do not claim myself as gender nuetral but had at one point identified as such, so please no this is not coming from any sort of malice. This is a complaint on the community as a whole and a hope to get better representation and experiences within the media. And the same as such for the use of masculine characters to represent someone who identifies as gender nuetral. I just hope that all of this can be worked out and the community grows safer and more welcoming for those who wish to join us. Thank you.
I can understand where you’re coming from. I think it can help to represent said gender neutral character with both male and female characters in media. Otherwise it can feel a bit disingenuous. I currently identify as non-binary myself, and things like this have proved to be a problem in the gacha community. But as you said, I don’t think it’s person’s fault nor do I think they’re bad people for this, just a small nitpick :))
Agreed. Coming from a nonbinary person, I think my favorite is when they use androgynous characters though. Or maybe just characters that aren’t extremely masculine/feminine. For example, Luffy, which I like a lot in these reactions.
