Yeah, I love the Mira Gino!!! I want to get one, but if you make it not a sleeper, I can't get a good deal! Looking forward to more videos on them. I want to see how fast a turbo can go. Still don't need 4x4 as no snow here. Thanks!
The Gino is a cool car and the Mitsuoka Viewt is growing on me too. Someone used to own one locally to me and it never appealed but I think that vintage Jag styling does work!
As a guy who’s about to receive a real JDM Rover Mini, I can say there’s no way they are alike! I suspect the diahatsu is wayyy more reliable though! If you find one here, I’m happy to let you use my mini to compare in a future vid.
As an English man who has known minis all my life I'm 54 & worked for Rover as a Metrology technician quality engineer what I definitely know your mini will no way be an Automatic. As not many were made . The Autos are very very rare certainly in Europe.
@@jeremywentworth1833 good point although I did see a bunch of autos in my search but I personally prefer a manual. Hoping am pleasantly surprised with dependability!
I drove a very beat up Mira Gino during my time in Okinawa. I loved the idea behind it, but felt like it was really held back by the auto box and the factory suspension which was somehow too soft and too hard depending on the road. There were some genuine fun moments on the touge just putting it in 2nd going downhill though. It was also the first car I had to turn off the AC in while driving up a hill. One day I’d like to drive a turbo AWD one just to see how good it could be.
I love this car! We had a turbo MiniCooper S and I miss it sometimes. Can you show a close up of the upholstery? You call it paisley but I don’t see that in the video.
The most slept on Kie car is the Daihatsu Move L902s and L910s Turbo 4spd auto. so damn cheap at auctions in Japan it's not funny. I see it week in week out. great video Nick.
One of the cheapest Keis I’ve seen here in Hawaii was my L602 Move. I stand by the whole “tall wagon” class as one of the most practical daily drivers that can also be a riot to drive.
The car with the leather interior definitely the highest spec certainly here in Europe people want leather over cloth . Wouldn't be surprised if the car with the leather had heated seats . The car at the end surely the owner must have been a woman what man wants eye lashes on his lights What are they a Micra with a rip of S-type front end. Regarding eye lashes occasionally here in the UK you might see an R50 , R53 mini been driven buy a woman with them .
I just bought a mira TR that has the gino front and back ends. Classic mini 2 doors looks but with a turbo. Can wait to have it here!
that sounds dope
Mira Gino is fire. I'm all for the burgundy interior and they are incredibly affordable. Perfect daily kei.
I really need to find one 5 speed and turbo Awd

Right on
Perfect city car. No need to shift and quick to turn etc! And good mpg/cheap to own
Couldn't agree more!
@@Waybeforethefame i need kei car too😂

Yeah any kei that’s auto non turbo up hills will be a struggle
VERY NICE RIDE !!
Sure is!

in my latest video going over the full inventory I show it more its very subtle
The one with the black strips has ABS which is a huge plus
Even better
That would have been my 2nd choice (providing it was turbo) behind the Mira TR-XX Avanzato I bought last spring.
its a good looking car
Those Mira Gino’s do look quite good. Now just add cool some tri-spokes, tints and I’d be happy.
you're speaking my language
