I love the older nickels I always will I keep everyone I find no matter what the date the newer nickels is not what I grew up with but that's just me keep on digging Dave
About a month ago I found 6 war nickels and two buffalo nickels which is crazy because i don’t hunt by the box I hunt by the roll when im at my retail job
I didn't get a nickel box this time. Instead, went for quarters and pennies. Scored 2 2020 Ws and a 2017-S NIFC, a 1910 wheat cent (a decent looking Fine, no damage/corrosion), and a 1942 Canadian cent with George VI. Once I find the last W quarter that I'm missing (2020 MBR), I'll hunt nickels more often and keep my fingers crossed for that 1950-D. I haven't found any good nickels, other than a few silvers, since end-of-April/early-May when I found 39-S and 38-S in back-to-back hunts.
Enjoyed nickel time, nice hand full of 40's and 50's, great find on the 1949 S semi key date and silver congrats 🎉
Nice hunt Dave, the 1949 San Francisco is a semi key date

I'm just the opposite. I love the nickels. It's those darn dimes I hate. But at least they are quick to hunt. Peace brother. Happy hunting.
