- I got my car Honda City 80000 kms driven serviced recently from one of my nearby technician at such an amazing price, i would like to share this my experience with you.

Never add water inplace of pre-mixed coolant.
Bhai spark plugs clean karne chahiye the. Gap adjustment bhi.
Should clean whole disc break portion, and grease it well so that it has no problem and be smooth breaking

N u know these days honda city change there air bag free of cost coz company say tat it's has detected
Engine Flushing never recommended by Honda & for Petrol, Spark plugs to be replaced after 10 years or 1 lac kms.

Bhai gari ki under body ki kaisay care kartay ho aur is gari ki buidl quality kaisi hai ..aur...ap gari ki ground clearance kafi kam hai nichay nai lagtii kia
bhai build quality toh bohot badiya hai, but yes ground clearance kam hai iski. so careful ho kar chalani padti hai..care k liye 1 year me ek bar machine pe lift karwa underbody inspection karwa lete hu mechanic se.

Sorry to say this but abhi bhi jo aapka brake pad ka thickness tha usme aap aram se aur 10000 kms chala lete. And most importantly iske life aapke chalane k upar depend karega... Ladkin max to max yeh 45000 kms chal jate hai... If you mostly drive on highways...

This is incomplete service brother. Your battery neither serviced nor gravity test is done. Bearing testing is also not done. Honda recommends service at every 5000 kms not 10000. It will cost you almost the same as you have spent outside. I also have the same car petrol and I get it serviced at show room. You only have to be vigilant. That’s it.

There is nothing like major service..it depends on you what you want things to be done at the time of job card making at service center. Major service is a term that help Dealers to make Customers fool.
Bhai.. every one telling that honda city has ground clearance issues... will it be an issue.. my city traffic is crowded and road bumpers are also present in the city.. can i buy a 2011 model car and drive in my city.. or will have issues .please advice
Yes this model has ground clearance issues. Don't buy this model. Go for 2014 model.

It requires high maintenance cost. Dont go for civic.
Aman you wont find a car like civic, I have owned 2006 Bluish silver civic , maintained it for 3 Yrs then sold , again i have now civic 2013 V MT sunroof . I have done long trips from Jaipur to cities like bombay, pune ahmedabad, Gwalior, Lucknow, Bhopal etc. Longest I have done Jaipur to Bhutan 5000 Kms 15 Days all self Driven
Absolutely bulletproof car. you just watch few things 1. Go for 2010 onward face lift model 2. check suspension 3. Power steering pump leakage and steering Rack , 8th generation had Hydraulic power steering , needs little maintenance but this really feels different sturdy gives lot driving confidence ( Even new civic has Electronic power steering ) and finally 4 Engine mount ( costs 10K at HASS )
I have not spent anything bomb, just 4000-00 regular yearly service, battery, 2 sets of tyres , one engine mount and very general thing. NO suspension work , steering work done or any major repair in total 80000 Kms of ownership of 2 Civics. My current taffeta white runs like dream, NO body or suspension sounds at all
surprisingly civics length is 4545 mm and 2011 Honda city 4440 mm ( I have 2011 Honda city gold beige also for daily commute), not much difference but when you drive civic there is Huge difference , Its really ride it to believe it, pure Drivers pleasure
My last submission , spend 1K- 2K on some reliable mechanic and if you could find a CLEAN CIVIC you would hardly find replacement for this car in future next car buying (In budget and performance)

you can use 10w40 ......oil grade depends on temperature of that particular region...HONDA in its manual has given the viscosity temperature chart...go through it
