Damn, that was just unfair hahaha wow. Like, from their perspective, it was just inferno from nowhere, inferno from nowhere, barrage of magical bullets and then the Fugue Plane, nothing in between.
1:50 TIP: in my 2nd playthru I noticed that it's VASTLY better to do all your long rest duration buffs (both mage and/or cleric based) back when leaving camp rather than mid-fight. Offloading the spell buff duties not only conserves Tav's spell slots for use in combat, but it enables you to stack a lot more of them than what a solo Tav could erect himself.
That is true sometimes I forget mage armor but I kind of want to include them in the video not sure if its even interesting as always Thanks for the tip 🙏🙏
@mythicaledeg I have 3 cleric-wizard hirelings on full time buff duty (one of them doubling as our transmuter/alchemist, for free doubling on alchemy . . . a real boon when crafting potions of speed, inviso, haste spores or elixers of cloud giant str or univ resistance). I also use Gale because his in-camp netherese orb autoheal quirk means he never goes down from warding bond, and with the lovers ring set he can actually do warding bond on TWO ppl simultaneously ... one cast directly, the other with the matching rings. After doing all their long rest duration buffs, all 4 can each top off the person theyre buffing with ONE extra buff that requires concentration ... like guidance, or enhance attribute, and then i'll have the whole squad separate n huddle after exiting camp, and put the cherry on top with a maxed out cast of either AID or Hero's Feast, either with freecast or arcane battery. Everyone's HP are usually 200+ after that, and elementals push 300. Everywhere I go is a thunder run. 😎 I usually do the following as a min, for each player in the active squad: Warding Bond + Prot vs Poison + Longstrider, plus other stuff depending on the current quest (ex: for Ansur I'd add Prot vs Energy - Lightning, for House of Hope or Sorcerous Sundries i'd add Prot vs Evil & Good, etc). Sometimes Dark Vision + Freedom of Motion gets added too, if I have enough slots. Shovel: he usually just gets Longstrider + Death ward + Mage Armor + Free Motion (so he gets hung up on terrain less). I usually have so many buffs up that the icons stretch 1/4 the way across the screen. Im on my second playthru, and so far Ive never had tav or any activr follower go down, or need a revive or rez. The only exception is when the hirelings occasionally go down off camera while still in camp (which doesnt count), when I need to lean extra hard on the warding bonds. Im sure my streak will likely break if/when I try honor mode, but so far im flawless.
Wizards is kind of not my thing(I am really bad at being a wizard) but evocation level 10 feature is really strong but sorcerers get something like that at level 6(draconic sorcerers)they get to add their spell casting modifier to the damage that is really strong with scorching ray red knight last resort(is that what its called?) and magic missile I would say evocation and abjuration and divination are the best ones 😅oh also necromancer is really good too

Oh, and items that buff constitution usually go on one of my 3 hirelings, to further pad their HP total powering their warding bonds.
@@RovingPunster That's Neat🤞👌👌
