SNK is arguably better than the manga even though I'm not a big fan of SNK. MP100, Prison School... and I have several other examples like that but I'm just giving you what comes to mind Ping Pong the animation is also superior to the manga and I'm not even talking about the art style, that's the least of my worries. An anime about football and especially a BLUE LOCK ANIME should be something like Ping Pong the animation, not this poorly animated bs. Your standards in anime are pretty low if you believe that "anime can't surpass the manga" "Never compare an animation with the manga" what in the NPC is this? A good anime should enhance the source material. The reason why we compare both is because we want more than a simple copy/paste of the manga
