Hi there! As usual I have added an acoustic version in part 2 of this video. For those of you who do not know how to create the palm-mute; you have to place your hand across all the strings on a down strum a fraction of a second before the pick hits. It’s all about timing and finding the best position for your hand to make contact. It took me a few days of practice (on and off in bursts of about 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a day) but It was worth it. For some reason media and cover musicians seem to favour the dreary stuff from the 60's and 70's (like Bob Dylan and Pink Floyd) rather than cheerful songs like this one. Thank you bringing it out to the people again. You do it exceptionally well, like hearing Ringo.
