I had to put hoodie on to watch this. I can feel the cold. Stay warm and thanks for the walk.❄❄
Thank you for watching. I’m glad I could bring a bit of Calgary to you.
Lol 😂
I always found that eating more fatty foods helped build the heat for winter. Eating fat does not make you fat but does cause the body to get thermally stable. I found when I ate more carbs, I froze. This explains why the Inuit do not feel the cold as much because they eat whale fat. It also helps you dress in layers and for the conditions rather than just assuming a coat that looks good will bear the cold. I have worked outside and played outside in the past, and you need to reconsider that gloves will cause individual fingers to freeze oven mitts. And you can get full face covers for those with wind chill issues.
Alberta can get snow all year round, and I saw snow in Calgary in August. In the past, we have had a lot more snow and colder temperatures; only in the last 15 years has that warmed up. We go in cycles. When I was a kid in the '70s, I would hear of storms in Calgary that shut down the city. Just dress for the conditions; get good boots with a good grip, socks that wick away moisture, and mitts that cover all your fingers and protect your ears. To prevent the nose from freezing, wear a muffler and breathe in through the mouth and out through the nose. You can get "Cat Crap" to cover your glasses to prevent fogging. Winter is not a time to dress as a fashion statement; dress for warmth. You do not want to freeze anything because it will freeze all winter.
The guy who does @Ottawalks snakes a USB cable up his coat and has a booster battery under his lapel to charge his gimbal. Ottawa is very cold in winter, and at night, it can get down below -40
Thanks for the tip! I'll try that next time!
I like your info. Confirms my experience. You definately know about dressing in cold weather.
I live in Anchorage and you can tell how cold it is by how squeaky the snow is

@@CANADIANDRUMMER-j-u2x Thank you
20 C below is not really cold.
I was waiting at a bus stop in Edmonton at 38 C below. That's a bit colder. But better than Saskatchewan at 50 C below.
I walked with you today. Thanks for the video ✌️
I’m glad you enjoyed the walk! 😊
Wow Annie talk about freezing cold. Terrific video letting us see how cold it is in Calgary! Please take super good care and stay warm and well!
Thank you so much for your concern! 😊 now it's getting better and hopefully next week will be good weather.
@@ijanniesvlogYou are so welcome Annie. It’s really difficult in such cold weather. I care! Stay warm!!

I live near the beaches of Sydney Australia. It is a sunshine beach with temperature 27 degrees. Hard to imagine in the other side of the world it is -20 degree.

Welcome to Yakutsk
Sounds like a perfect trip for those who want to test their cold tolerance! Remember to bring a down jacket, gloves and some hot tea. Hope you don't freeze!
Thank you for watching ☃️
It has been a brutal week for Calgary. I used to live in Montreal and Ottawa. I have not seen anything like this cold in my life time.
frozen hell unsuitable for human existence.
Just what I was thinking. Why would anyone want to live in a place like that?
I love your videos ❤
Thank you
We have -40c right now at 3am 😋
NIce walking. That's great to have normal winter with frost and snow! Sell us a little bit of winter. Because We've got almost nothing in Moscow this year.
Yeah i agree with you. This year winter is so different. Finally its seems like Calgary winter. Thank you for watching.
WInter in Calgary is freezing but beautiful.
Spring, Summer and Fall in Calgary are also good.
Fall is just first winter and spring is 3-4 winter..
Yes, I agree, each season has its own beauty!😊
I see a lot of people not properly dressed for the conditions :)
Yeah, i have no idea how they feel 😕
70 degrees F with blue skies today here in the SE US where I live. But, to be fair it was in the teens F just a few weeks ago with snow on the ground. Weird weather.
❤❤
😮😮😮
Clemente change can't come soon enough to Calgary and Edmonton.🎉
🤩💯💯💯🤩
🇨🇦🕯️🕊️✅
0:20 What nonsense, how cold is it, what -20? A man walks calmly even without a hat and the snow is wet. If you walk without a hat at -20, then you are guaranteed to get meningitis. Besides, -20 is cold, but not extreme! I studied in Finland when I was young, it was -30 there, and everyone still rides bicycles for short distances, so it's even warmer than walking.
you're a tropper! I don't go outside below -5C where I am 😂
😂😂😂
Сейчас ао всем мире нет работи.😢
I ll really struggle to live here😢
Hello.. sorry for you. But believe me you will fine next winter. My first winter so bad too.
I come from Thailand I tried clicking on your channel. I love watching it. Your photography makes me entertained. I didn't know this city before. It's beautiful.
it's definitely around -30 instead
Minus 20 i would die thats really cold to compare with the UK
@@puffymuffin9064 Calgary winter pretty cool.
-20 is NOT extreme cold for Canada. period It is getting colder for Calgary.
Not extreme til your waiting for a bus outside for 20 minutes at -32c.
I always do 🤣 because i have used public transport since 2018.
