5. More than anything else we will win SEC/NCAA Championships again.
Cal, wish him luck, but he just couldn't get out of his own way. at times, all he needed was to call a simple Timeout. Sadly, he just couldn't develop bigs. My heart goes out to the latest Bigs who came through Kentucky and just didn't show improvement. Big O was the exception.
...Cal, big blue loves you, as a recruiter. NOT AS A HEAD COACH (LATELY)..
GOOD LUCK, SEE YOU NEXT SEASON!!
I remember so many seasons of the rumors of Cal leaving KY, Our fans would always get so mad and upset at the prospect. This time its more like a sigh of relief.
Nates Oats is not the guy, just drop it.
We are better for it!! Good riddance
I'm calling Dan Hurley and if we get him folks look out!! Dude is on fire and I totally want him as coach. If not hurley, I'd go with Jay Wright, Nate Oats or Scott Drew.
Rondo is a great prospect in every sense without much difficulty in hiring imo, otherwise, Hurley gives me that winning vibe.
Glad he's gone, $33 million and lifetime contract off the books.
It’ll be funny when he beats Kentucky lol
and then loses to Gardner Webb in the 1st round😂
Cal is a great coach!!! I wish he had been more loyal to Kentucky and the program and not the ambitions of the freshman coming to the school….
Exactly
Insane
Duke and NC lost there coach ! We will be fine
If this ends with scott drew as coach I'd rather cal had stayed
PLEASE Mitch NO Hurley PLEASE!!!
I truly think Mitch knew this was coming and it was kinda behind the scenes going on in some way or another. Mitch took the high road and did the interview as a cover and this was straight mutual
Mitch should resign as well.
Any news on who any candidates are right now to replace Calipari? It's Monday the morning after the news broke when I am asking this.
Thank goodness!!
Hurley isn't leaving UConn. That's cray cray talk. Billy Donovan ain't coming back to college basketball. Nate Oates just signed a new deal paying him over 7 million and has an 18 million dollar buyout clause.
Yeah, you call them and they listen out of courtesy to UK. But they ain't leaving their respective places. They just ain't.
Jay Wright????
You make Jay right tell you no, first and foremost
The only thing that could save Kentucky from 5 more years of mediocrity is Cal’s ego. Kentucky fans should be ecstatic. My Kentucky alum wife seems 5 years younger this morning.
😁😁😁😁😁
idk what happened to the fanbase, we used to be known for our intelligence and class, not anymore buddy
i enjoyed every single season with calipari, every last team, not a single disappointment
give it to rick pitino, see what he can do with this mess
Well said at the beginning
Cal doing this on the eve of the Natty just shows Cal thinks he’s bigger than the game. Typical.
Cal got approached. Timing was how the opening at AR occurred last week and the $$ lined up to get Cal.
What has he done for us in the last twelve years? Not much… 👋🏼🏀🍿 We deserve better! 🆘
1:00 so glad we're checking in with a woman and her feelings
Calipari, Hall of Fame recruiter, horrible coach. UK will be fine. Arkansas will regret this. No other head coach has done so little while having so much talent.
Most in AR are loving it, me included. I have followed KY and AR for 40+ years. Win Win for both schools.
@@larrytucker222, trust me you will regret it. He's a great recruiter but a horrible head coach who expects his freshman loaded teams to figure it out with minimal assistance from his end. One and done has proved to be a failure and if he does not change from this Arkansas will be worse off. It's not about winning every game, it's about winning the games you should dominate and being.competitive in the rest.
Is Brad Stevens a possibility?
No...
I wish, but doubt it
I have felt like the girl waiting for the guy to get around to proposing, so I am over him…lol. The KY/Calipari relationship ran its course and we are tired of being promised a final four and absolutely no delivery or what even seems like effort towards it.

Thank you, Jack and Shawn.
I'm a 53-year old lifelong UK fan. I understand that you can't just hire anyone and win here. I also understand that the program is bigger than Cal. I don't trust Mitch to make this hire.
Billy Donovan? Sigh. Maybe he can finally use that horse farm he bought years and years ago. Why would he want to learn NIL and the portal at this stage of his career?
I also remember when UK fans PUMMELED Oats for not suspending a person of interest in a murder investigation.
I'm really sad. I didn't see this coming.
When it's time to go .....go!! Change is good.
Damn this will give Coach Cal so much fresh energy it’s 2024 times are different now let’s see what happens the list of coaches people are saying will use this opening for pay raises this interesting
Jay wright ……
Pig sooey!!!!! Thank you Arkansas. Now, a fresh start for big blue!
This is on KSR. I hope your ready to eat crow when the we lose a HOF coach for a bum. Yall created this narrative and pushed it on fans
we need a high profile guy
One name on the board Billy Donavon .
I would love to see Billy Donovan as our head coach. I’ve always wanted to see him leading our team.
You know sometimes it’s players first sometimes it’s program first sometimes it’s man sometimes it’s zone. Sometimes it’s freshmen. Sometimes it’s the portal. Our coach had trouble adjusting through the years. He had trouble adjusting on the court. You had trouble adjusting his perspective. It has been uncomfortable to watch a fish out of water.
