That first part was what I was looking for. Thank you, now I have a great template setup for all different sized mandalas and I like this way of making them WAY better than the Photoshop's built in tool! Starting to really love Illustrator!
If you are in the comments looking for how to fix the single circle. The way I got it to work is when my layer was separate and on top from the mandala layer group.
Awesome tutorial. Only issues i had was that I couldn't get the circle to be one circle (2:05) even while holding shift. Also at part 9 (9:40) expand appearance is greyed out for me but i just used Expand and it seemed to work.
To fix the single circle issue you need to make sure when you select the "swap fill stroke" button that the white box with a red line on it (the "None" option) is on the top
@LucasFernandes-lf7hc In the first or second layer, you must ensure that the drawing is inside the second layer, and the lock of the first layer is guide lines only. 04:10 How I can select multiple digits and do double delete, and remove guides ?
Use Direct selection tool (A) and hold Shift key to select all Guide.
Or you can select this guide from Layer Panel.

4:10 after expand appearance, my art work is getting deleted when I try to delete the line segments
Before deleting lines, try to ungroup once or twice (Ctrl+G) then delete the line
How can i use the base again and again without having to create from start so that i can keep drawing with the same base?
How to draw a single line and it will be copied automatically in all sides ?? 1:47 ??
Watch the video from the first step and you'll know how 👍
@@MsDesigny i did, can you tell me the exact minute of the video from where i can learn the mentioned thing. Please
From start to 1:28
This part is the main one to implement the design
I can't do it too. And i saw the video many times
The transform effects should be applied to the LAYER, not the paths within the layer
After finishing still I can't able to del background guide lines ..😭
it's easy. you can use (Magic Wand tool) to select and delete Guide lines Before start Coloring.
4:02
Thanks ❤

Press and hold ALT while dragging.
@@MsDesigny After i expand i cant delete the like you did can explain please
@@yamunanvelayudham6657 you mean (expand appearance) in 4:01 ?
I did it wrong as well, try aplying all transforms to the LAYER not to the line within the layer
