i have decided running with a torch works very well.. you keep the heat buff all the time, you dont get damp while running in the snow, and any food you keep in your pockets defrosts very quickly. super efficient. but i only do it during daytime. the torch is not visible from very far away. IIMO best to stick with soviet weapons on this map. nato stuff is only to be had in the containers on the islands and then precious little of that. perhaps they will update more nato spawn points in future.

Yeah I think because its a new map or something, I’ve felt it being significantly more KOS😅 (for better or for worse)
Wow I’ve had the exact opposite experience!! For me on Ps5 I’ve met more friendly people and made more friends in like 10 hrs than what I’d ever see in 50hrs. Someone on Reddit explained well that everyone needs more help to stay alive and teaming is more beneficial for everyone with needing constant fires and more food and water than normal
Ive been killed by everyone lol. People have said they are friendly and then murdered me by a fire. This map is making people crazy 😅
Since AmazingChris_ pushed my house with a pitchfork while i was heat buffing. I also have resorted to a KOS you POS mentality

That cave with paintings might be something big, these "cables" look the same to the alien roots from arma's 3 first contact dlc and one of those paintings looks like a humanoid alien

I’ve been to the bunker once, did all 4 doors solo… I just have gotten there not long after someone else as there was nothing but a plate carrier left 😩😆 I’m now on my 2nd life and have everything for the bunker again but on my way over there found a VSD at a heli crash near the hunting town, rather than going to the bunker again I think I’m going to explore that map a little more, where is that cave located on the map?
Gg on getting the bunker done, you must have been hella close to one after they had it done as lot response quick as, the cave is at 098 068

If you are struggling to survive Sakhal official, I started on Cherno and found warm clothes (field jacket and cargo pants) then I traveled to Livonia for military weapons, then I started Sakhal. It made surviving so much easier. Starting Sakhal with everything you need is a game changer. Make sure to stock up on food and drinks too.
Not really a fan of that but you play your style, imo sakhal is pretty easy to survive, take your time, fish, find the springs to drink and get some knifes or matches and you're sorted
@@mullerYOGHURTSs I’m on my first life of Sakhal so I wanted it to be a bit easier. I’m struggling to find water sources so I was kind of glad I stocked up on drinks. Where are the springs located? In towns or what?

Tundra was given by my team mate so not too sure , east town of big industrial I do believe , cave is 068 098 or vise versa

Where I left ark, and pointed at the circuit board , so you either have to run back and forth or have a mate opening

I’m really loving this map but the one thing I really don’t like is the nato weapons have been made useless I know you can get them but if you run out of ammo you gotta go all the way back out to those islands to get more

So far so good. Got 8 hours in sakhal and only died once because I mistakenly had my mic muted. No mic no life I know the rules. It’s honestly not that difficult, preventive measures

Didn't know that was a thing, seems a bit rough for sure, you'd think it would be under different buttons

Tbf i only had a 4 hour run but it was boring imo. Full pop of 60, didnt aee another soul, no idea what i died from, i was warm, had canned food, white across the board then started to dip into death. Pain in ass to spawn back on beach. Inhate chenarus for same reason and I don't have 12 hours spare a day to play either maps. I will stick to namalsk

Pvp is not impressive anymore... It's old... The game is about survival and looting... If ya wanna pvp go to a pvp server.. we have all killed hundreds of people in the game, nobody is impressed.. js
I killed 2 people in 11 hours of running around , keeping warm and catching food , surviving on a pvp server is more intense, you have to be more aware when cooking up food or getting warm .... js , also never said anyone was impressed, also was playing a pvp server, so all the shit you typed made no sense ... js

You will be missed, community servers are rarely hit by cheaters and if so are dealt with oretty quick
