"Now I'm so far gone to replace my pain. What I'm made to do, I know you're to blame." nate never stops with the references to past songs and I love it.
I love how this song has some references to "Obsolete" and "Home"! Nate, your songs will never stop getting better and better!! I've been listening to you for 6 years now and always will for more awesome songs you'll create!!

I love the past references and I love the fact that a lot of the songs after Finale can be read as a subtle "stop making new games so my viewers stop asking for more fnaf songs". Most of the time it's about the game, the characters, Scott, or the fandom's thirst for the answers to the mysteries, but other times it can subtly be read as an a cycle Nate can't escape due to the fact "we" ask for more songs and he "has" to deliver. even the titles can be seen as a subtle jab. Madness "I know I swore that this was the last time, the madness never ends up in my mind." "On and on I can never escape my fate, no I'm never getting out." One Way Ticket "Now time and time again I swear I'm done, but you've created this monster now let's have some fun." "Let's drive ourselves insane just tryin'a find the truth. a nightmare we won't wake up from, all thanks to you." Obsolete "It's said and done, but yet we end up back at the start again. Remember when I said this is the end? And now I'm so far gone." "You bring me back to life, so you can watch me die." "There's nothing left to say, just let me fade away." "Will this be over soon?" Count the Teeth "Now we all know how this will end, a minute late got you coming back again." "This neverending game, you took the bait now you got played." Stay The Course "I'm back, revamped. The madness never ends. It's not, over yet, there's nothing left to mend." (Yes this is from Glitchtrap's pov, but also subtly not only a past reference but from Nate) "It's all you want, you don't want me to change." (plus "you don't want me to change" repeats on it's own in the bg, belted by Nate) What You Want (The title alone along with the teaser for that fandom song album was all about how "this is what you wanted, well, here it is") "I'll always come right back" "and now you're coming back to me, crawling back to me, begging me for another game." "Never no end to the madness." "Now is this what you want and what you need? It's all that you expect from me. Addicted to the mystery" To My Grave "now what's another night, another month, a decade of the same?" Time To Move One "It's time to let go, time to move on. Time to take on a different name." "What I'm made to do I know you're to blame."
Also, this may be me overanalyzing, but don’t the lyrics with every new song get less fnaf-y than the last. I know about the constant uses of “fire” and “ghosts” and “breach”. But cover up the animatronic bear, and you get something that you’d normally hear on Octane.
The first stay the course quote is just a call back to Mangled and Finale, he does that quite alot. That line in both songs is basically saying shit is just getting started. "We're not alone, this time we brought some friends" and "and there's not a thing you can do to stop us" and "it's not, over yet, there's nothing left to mend" all follow that same line in the same way.
@@loudonheimsoth6916 You're not overanalyzing, I think they have. It's something I've noticed. It might be a form of writing the songs better? That's something I see a lot of fanmade songs doing and honestly I think it'd great. But I have no clue why he may be doing it.
I love this so much. There's a sadness to it, like in the aftermath of a bad relationship, where you're torn between the love you had and the need to leave. A sadness that turns to anger/frustration and reinforcing the need to leave. And "it's so cold inside your flame", I love this so much.

For some reason i feel like this gonna be the last FNAF song for a while, and if that's the case, what a beautiful way to send it off. I always felt like Nate's songs for FNAF were very human, in the sense that it was about the emotions of the characters, their story, and not so much about the game itself, and that is amazing. At the same time, it always felt like this emotions intertwine with the fanbase feelings. Anyway, i think i'm rambling at this point. I just wanted to say that this is a beautiful song. Thank you Nate.
Nah I get it man, these feelings go hard a lot in FNAF where we are place in between looking at how far we`ve come and where were going, I think in some ways the characters feel that too even Scott and this game is a staple of it, we are reminded that FNAF will always come back but where will it come back to, whatever the case being unclear may this Fazbear future of the franchise be known to show it`s love and emotion
@@djamtz Looking back, nearly 8 years in this franchise, all the books, games, spinoffs, everything. It's so nostalgic. There's a reason why Nate continues to be a legend. He makes absolutely breathtaking music coupled with having engaging visuals that help enbroaden his medium.
I loved this song. It still has that "I need to do songs about other things too" vibe and your frustrations with it, but it's more than that. This feels like a love letter to your comment section and a goodbye message to people who've hurt you.
My dad, a massive metal fan, who’s also not very fond of FNaF, actually added this to one of his playlists because he thought it was an absolute banger
My god. No other FNAF song has made me feel like this. I cried for like 14 minutes after listening to this last night on Apple Music. Thank you Nate for pumping out this amazing banger 🥲
My twin sis was listening to this earlier and it got stuck in my head, now it’s 10:30pm and I’m beginning to feel some strong feelings that has me on the verge of a mental breakdown as I type this. Thinking of my pass, my whole life while listening to that one verse “So fly me out so far away To what I couldn't see And bury me where you can't breach My insecurity Time to let go Time to move on Time to take on a different name It's so cold, it's so cold Inside of your flame” has me getting huge strong emotions enough to cry, I like this song but my emotions rn are just- 😭
God I love Nate's music so much. The line "It's so cold, inside of your flame" hits so hard with this series. Seeing so much content surrounding FNAF after so many years is amazing, yet it still leaves me feeling conflicted. Is it worth it if we end up getting stuff like Security Breach? The fire of FNAF was supposed to die like three times and yet it's still here. It's been so long that I'm just numb (cold) to this franchise (flame). That last thing was for the sake of analysis. I mean I definitely feel that way, but not very often.
Well you’re entitled to your interpretation of it it could be interpreted as many different things even things inside of the FNAF franchise lore. It could also be interpreted as a toxic relationship that you need to leave Or a toxic workplace. The best thing about songs like this is that you can leave it to interpretation for the listener making it personal.
Fitting for what seems to be the finale of the Afton's SPOILERS (Freddy being highly likely possessed by Michael and Gregory either being an analog or a recreation of the Crying Child, not to mention Afton burning one last(?) Time with him trapped by his own literal creations)
1:32 - 1:48 A leitmotif of his FNAF 4 song “Home”, albeit remixed. I loved hearing this, it really took me back to the old days. The lyrics from Home iirc at this part were: “They say get closer but I’m scared They put me down, no this isn’t fair They mock my name Put me to shame So like balloons I’ll float away”
what makes these FNAF songs so amazing is that nate uses lines that can be taken out of the FNAF context and used in emo anime formats. his songs give me inspiration for the stories i write
When I was a teenager, I listened to you because you made music for this game. Now I listen to you simply because I love your songs. This music is one of my favorite music ever, whether it's music about this game or not, it doesn't matter. It's your music, it moves me, like all the others you've created. Your music has often accompanied my evenings and nights for 9 years, and I hope that you will continue as long as you enjoy it. (sorry for my clumsy text, I don't speak English)
I really REALLY love the references to "Home" and "Obsolete" in this song. It's kinda funny, i don't know if this was all in Nate's mastermind but... I've always interpreted "Obsolete" to be somewhat about Michael's point of view, about how he's unable die and has to fix every one of his father's wrongdoings (ofc it could also be interpreted from William's POV in UCN, but we all know he deserves it so that's a bit forced imo). On the other side, we know for sure "Home" is all about Crying Child and his nightmares during his fight between life and death. Funily enough, this song seems to be about Glamrock Freddy and Gregory (as these two are in the spotlight in the video, besides the ocassional Vanny). What's curious about this is that according to MatPat (mister Game Theory himself) and his recent dive into the Secutity Breach lore, Glamrock Freddy would be possesed by Michael Afton and Gregory (bot?) would be the Crying Child after leaving Golden Freddy's suit (not gonna bother explaining this theory, if anything, go watch it for yourself). But that is exactly the reason I think Nate has referenced these two songs, because it's about the same two characters. If that is the case, hands down Nathan. You. Are. A genious.
That's one of my favorite theories regarding Security Breach. One of my theories was that the 4 original souls, puppet, crying child and Elizabeth got stuck in a hell world created by William after the bad ending in fnaf 3, kinda like how Golden Freddy created UCN as Williams hell after fnaf 6.
MatPat stretches for lore references that aren`t actually there a lot so his "Theories" unless backed up by either Scott or other more well-informed fans(Such as NotRealName NotAtAll)anything MatPat says should always be taken with a metric ton of salt!
1:33 "they say get closer but I'm scared. They put me down no this isn't fair. They mock my name put me to shame, so like balloons I'll float away." Great reference there, very subtle!😉
the song: "I'll break and mend, I'm building every breath, Drawn to life." the sister location room in security breach: "Break and mend, I built the breath. They hunt now, drawn to life. Not Real, still keen. And Frit and Fraught with thought and zest and gest no blunt woes. Dodge, duck, flash, shoot, crawl, run, crush the vile band. Cry not, try not, do not hold out, hope no. Your life, your aim will save those with soul." Well played Nate, well played.
Time to let go Time to move on Time to let go Time to move on It's you and me Rebuilding our mistakes It's hard to see What's real and what is fake I'll take a chance Decisions that I make Decisions that I make are in my hands I'm all alone Alone when I'm with you I'm breaking down I see that you are too It's all the same I'll make you something new I'll make you something new So fly me out so far away To what I couldn't see And bury me where you can't breach My insecurity Time to let go Time to move on Time to take on a different name It's so cold, it's so cold Inside of your flame I'll break and mend I'm building every breath Drawn to life It's burning me to death And all your ghosts You're hiding underneath Are burning at the seams They're not dead yet They're searching for me They can't see That I'm not real and this isn't me They scream and shout Prey on my doubt But I think I've found my way out (I found my way) So fly me out so far away To what I couldn't see And bury me where you can't breach My insecurity Time to let go Time to move on Time to take on a different name It's so cold, it's so cold Inside of your flame Now I've got one lesson left to learn Don't start fires when there's nothing left to burn Now I'm so far gone to replace my pain What I'm made to do I know you're to blame Now I've got one lesson left to learn Don't start fires when there's nothing left to burn Now I'm so far gone to replace my pain What I'm made to do I know you're to blame So fly me out so far away To what I couldn't see And bury me where you can't breach My insecurity I'm angry, I'm confused and I've been Left away to rot You built me up to break me down Took everything I've got Time to let go Time to move on Time to take on a brand new name It's so cold, it's so cold
I got to hear this early on your Twitch stream and it just blew me away! Your FNAF songs are so much more then just FNAF themed and always have such a deeper meaning! This song in particular is so relatable about how insecurity can really take over a person and how you just wanna run away instead of dealing with complex feelings. And omg those scream notes! Ahhh! Amazing Nate, truly amazing!
i've been listening to nate for so many years now and it never fails to amaze me how every release just gets better and better. i originally found him because of mangled and have been following every nostalgic fnaf release ever since. this feels like such an incredible callback and like almost a sad send-off. i know that i'll be listening to this quite a bit from now on. thank you for shaping so many people's lives, nate!
1:33 They say "Get closer" but I'm scared They put me down No this isn't fair They mock my name Put me to shame So, like balloons, I'll float away... - Home
After today's vid, this and the other recent songs are so much more telling than before. "Time to let go, time to move on, time to take on a different name" "I'm on the train that's soon to be long gone from you" Rock on, man. Thanks for everything. ✌️
Honestly, I think this is an amazing ending song for fnaf, it’s kinda sad and is just a good song to end off the fnaf series (if it ever ends, it seems it never ends)
I was worried your passion for FNAF songs was fading but I've never been happier to be wrong. Instantly recognized "Home" and "Obsolete" :,) Hell yeah Nate!
This is gotta be the most Under-rated Song in the FNaF Fandom. It’s MASTERPIECE! HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE OVER A MILLION VIEW?! The Lyrics were Perfect, The Music was Fantastic, Even the visuals in this Video is AMAZING!
I can't help but look at the evolution of Nate's songs. I was there when Mangled got released. And now, here in 2022 I'm still here. Nate, you are for real my favorite artist. Putting you above even Linkin Park for me. Your songs are amazing, the covers slap and the originals are even better. This song just proves my point even more. Thank you for everything!!!
wow the references are amazingly fitted into the song. There's always a part in every one of Nate's songs where he hits an insane note that stands out.
Idk how you do it with every FNAF song Nate, but once again you've nailed the emotional mark in this song. This is probably my favorite FNAF song from you now, tied with Home and Obsolete.
What I love about this song, is that not only is it obviously based on true stories, but it shows how that person had a hard time trying to move on from the past mistakes that they made
Anyone else noticing how the kid wants to reach to Freddy when he's scared but is hesitant? And when Freddy reassures home with a thumbs up he just shakes his head. The song is wonderful and fits this so well
Every time a new fnaf song comes out and there's references to the older songs I feel so happy. Those songs are very important to me, so seeing you incorporate them into newer songs is always so refreshing :) I love this song to bits too! I expected it to be heavier, but it's quite nice at this level; definitely expect to be on repeat for at least the next couple of days lol
Damn that was amazing! I was listening to all your FANF songs today at work and wouldn't ya know I get home... and there is a new one. What a wonderful day and a wonderful song, powerful lyrics too. For some reason I can almost see Golden Freddy singing this.
It really is Time To Move On… we’ve come a long way Nate. I’m excited to see what you bring in the future, it’s gonna be amazing. Nate wanted to battle, and now the battle has ended.
I've been here since "No more"... Not one song he's made that I don't love. They're relatable, a banger, and fan songs can be separated from the fandoms. Such an amazing voice and so many amazing songs.
Yay so happy to hear this song. Super cool to listen to your range in this song. The lyrics tell more of a new change down a lonely path. I hope that whatever way you are going down now leads to a blissful place.
I keep coming back, I've had this on loop for hours working. There's something about the drum beat that is just so addicting to me. God this track is just so good, definitely my new favorite.
Okay but why is it that whenever Nate releases a fnaf song it ends up weirdly reflecting my life? When I was fifteen, I remember listening to Madness after my parents put me through another horrible thing. Nightmare came out when I was around eleven or twelve and it really reminds me of my elementary school years, and now I’m a senior in high school and I just got accepted into a college far away from here, so I can leave everything behind. It feels fitting too, that the “happy” song is tied to my favorite game in the franchise. Even the ones that I don’t feel a personal connection to are always bangers. Favorite fnaf musician by far
This song sounds like trying to let go of the memories of Fnaf. Like that has been in our heads for 8 incredible years now and it's time to think about other things
Just insane work as always Nate, so glad to have been here through all of these songs. Like many people (including you yourself!) have stated, one of the best qualities of these FNAF songs is that you can pretty easily separate them from the source material and they still maintain that punch that marks a great NWTB song.
We need to order these song that reference each other in chronological order because they deserve that much. Awesome song Nate definitely one that will be stuck with me for a while!
Wow! Did not expect this. Love this take on the fnaf sb world. I heard one of your old fnaf songs meLody halfway through. Nice! "You're to blame" reference, nice. OOOOHH THE HIGH NOTE. oh my goodness the scream/ growl.
I don't know what it is about this song, but somehow, I get emotional almost every time I listen to it, could be because of you stopping fandom songs or nostalgia. I will forever remember this song as one of the best music I've listened to in my entire life, thank you Nate.
1:32 this sounds kinda like the "Home" where it's like: They say get closer but I'm scared They put me down, no this isn't fair They mock my name Put me to shame So like balloons, I'll float away
What I really love about Nate's FNaF's songs is that you can completely separate them from the games and they still are a banger.

@@DeathofSnoopy don't blame you there
The first time i heard of fnaf was from my friend in school from 2016.. damn 2016
I love how all of Nate's Fandom music, especially FNAF, can be tied back to the games but they also can be their stand alone thing.
man this hits differently now. I wonder if this was foreshadowing his plans for future music
I love how it's both a fnaf song and a commentary about this whole franchise
Another an-
DUDE THIS SONG SLAPS HARD. This is the NWBT content I've been waiting for ever since What You Want wrapped up ! !
What you want was so good, I still listen to it!
1:32 - 1:48
A leitmotif of his FNAF 4 song “Home”, albeit remixed. I loved hearing this, it really took me back to the old days. The lyrics from Home iirc at this part were:
“They say get closer but I’m scared
They put me down, no this isn’t fair
They mock my name
Put me to shame
So like balloons I’ll float away”
what makes these FNAF songs so amazing is that nate uses lines that can be taken out of the FNAF context and used in emo anime formats. his songs give me inspiration for the stories i write
It's finally back. There is still hearts to give!
You. Are. A genious.
Finally a comment who noticed!
They mock my name put me to shame, so like balloons I'll float away."
Great reference there, very subtle!😉
the song: "I'll break and mend, I'm building every breath, Drawn to life." the sister location room in security breach: "Break and mend, I built the breath.
It's cute how it looks like Gregory wants to hold Freddy's hand, but stops when he sees him looking.
I liked the clever references to the wall code, "Bend and break, I build the breath."
Hey you saw it too!?
Time to let go
Time to move on
Time to let go
Time to move on
It's you and me
Rebuilding our mistakes
It's hard to see
What's real and what is fake
I'll take a chance
Decisions that I make
Decisions that I make are in my hands
I'm all alone
Alone when I'm with you
I'm breaking down
I see that you are too
It's all the same
I'll make you something new
I'll make you something new
So fly me out so far away
To what I couldn't see
And bury me where you can't breach
My insecurity
Time to let go
Time to move on
Time to take on a different name
It's so cold, it's so cold
Inside of your flame
I'll break and mend
I'm building every breath
Drawn to life
It's burning me to death
And all your ghosts
You're hiding underneath
Are burning at the seams
They're not dead yet
They're searching for me
They can't see
That I'm not real and this isn't me
They scream and shout
Prey on my doubt
But I think I've found my way out
(I found my way)
So fly me out so far away
To what I couldn't see
And bury me where you can't breach
My insecurity
Time to let go
Time to move on
Time to take on a different name
It's so cold, it's so cold
Inside of your flame
Now I've got one lesson left to learn
Don't start fires when there's nothing left to burn
Now I'm so far gone to replace my pain
What I'm made to do
I know you're to blame
Now I've got one lesson left to learn
Don't start fires when there's nothing left to burn
Now I'm so far gone to replace my pain
What I'm made to do
I know you're to blame
So fly me out so far away
To what I couldn't see
And bury me where you can't breach
My insecurity
I'm angry, I'm confused and I've been
Left away to rot
You built me up to break me down
Took everything I've got
Time to let go
Time to move on
Time to take on a brand new name
It's so cold, it's so cold
I got to hear this early on your Twitch stream and it just blew me away! Your FNAF songs are so much more then just FNAF themed and always have such a deeper meaning! This song in particular is so relatable about how insecurity can really take over a person and how you just wanna run away instead of dealing with complex feelings. And omg those scream notes! Ahhh! Amazing Nate, truly amazing!
3:06 the ‘rot’ is so fucking good
i've been listening to nate for so many years now and it never fails to amaze me how every release just gets better and better. i originally found him because of mangled and have been following every nostalgic fnaf release ever since. this feels like such an incredible callback and like almost a sad send-off. i know that i'll be listening to this quite a bit from now on. thank you for shaping so many people's lives, nate!
The emotion in the final chorus makes me feel things, you did a perfect job on this nate
1:33
They say "Get closer" but I'm scared
They put me down
No this isn't fair
They mock my name
Put me to shame
So, like balloons,
I'll float away...
- Home
Its insane to see how these have evolved as someone who has been around since Mangled was released
After today's vid, this and the other recent songs are so much more telling than before.
"Time to let go, time to move on, time to take on a different name"
"I'm on the train that's soon to be long gone from you"
Rock on, man. Thanks for everything. ✌️
Honestly, I think this is an amazing ending song for fnaf, it’s kinda sad and is just a good song to end off the fnaf series (if it ever ends, it seems it never ends)
Beautiful song to listen to ngl
I was worried your passion for FNAF songs was fading but I've never been happier to be wrong. Instantly recognized "Home" and "Obsolete" :,) Hell yeah Nate!
From 13 to 18 I've been listening to his music let's go fnaf has been around for s bit now
Why does this make me feel nostalgic on the first time i’m listening to this
The same thing happens to me
This is gotta be the most Under-rated Song in the FNaF Fandom.
It’s MASTERPIECE!
HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE OVER A MILLION VIEW?!
The Lyrics were Perfect, The Music was Fantastic, Even the visuals in this Video is AMAZING!
6 months later, this song has a whole new meaning to me.
I'm thankful this is back up!
wow
the references are amazingly fitted into the song.
There's always a part in every one of Nate's songs where he hits an insane note that stands out.
This song isn’t just a good Fnaf song it’s meaning can relate to everyone
Idk how you do it with every FNAF song Nate, but once again you've nailed the emotional mark in this song. This is probably my favorite FNAF song from you now, tied with Home and Obsolete.
This song really hits different after that announcement video literally called "It's time to move on."
Thank you, all of these songs encourage me to keep going and move past my mistakes and fears.
Love the references to Home and Obsolete! Song is awesome Nate!
Thank god! One of the best fnaf songs in my opinion
What I love about this song, is that not only is it obviously based on true stories, but it shows how that person had a hard time trying to move on from the past mistakes that they made
"Bury me where you can't breach, my insecurity." Genius
Anyone else noticing how the kid wants to reach to Freddy when he's scared but is hesitant? And when Freddy reassures home with a thumbs up he just shakes his head. The song is wonderful and fits this so well
I have never, in my entire life, heard anything as beautiful as this song. No words can describe ho happy this song made me feel. :D
This was unexpectedly heartwarming. Just like the mood in Security Breach. Glamrock Freddy sure lightened the story to the best he can!
This has no right being as incredible as it is
Not even a fnaf song this is just a straight banger
Damn that was amazing! I was listening to all your FANF songs today at work and wouldn't ya know I get home... and there is a new one. What a wonderful day and a wonderful song, powerful lyrics too. For some reason I can almost see Golden Freddy singing this.
It really is Time To Move On… we’ve come a long way Nate. I’m excited to see what you bring in the future, it’s gonna be amazing. Nate wanted to battle, and now the battle has ended.
This song touched a spot in my heart I never knew I had 😭 this is beautiful
I've been here since "No more"... Not one song he's made that I don't love. They're relatable, a banger, and fan songs can be separated from the fandoms. Such an amazing voice and so many amazing songs.
i love the "dear god please stop asking me for a fnaf song" genre of fnaf music
I Love this song. its is so different from any of Nate's other FNaF songs in like the best way.
Yay so happy to hear this song. Super cool to listen to your range in this song. The lyrics tell more of a new change down a lonely path. I hope that whatever way you are going down now leads to a blissful place.
That was great, a little Easter Egg for replace my pain from the song Obsolete
Good work Nate
I keep coming back, I've had this on loop for hours working. There's something about the drum beat that is just so addicting to me. God this track is just so good, definitely my new favorite.
1:40 sounds like a part from Home:
"They mock my name, put me to shame
So like balloons I'll float away"
I can catch the reference like ¨Now I'm so far gone to replace my pain. What I'm made to do, I know you're to blame.", I love it
i like how this is simultaneously about the story of security breach and also about the downfall of the franchise
Banger after banger after banger after banger after banger....
I can take any one of your fnaf songs and separate them from fnaf and they’d still make sense. I love this so much, amazing work!
We need to order these song that reference each other in chronological order because they deserve that much. Awesome song Nate definitely one that will be stuck with me for a while!
Like this comment if this is your favorite song by natewantstobattle
Underrated?!?!
2:18 the electronic percussion during this part goes so hard
Love how the verses are so calm and in the chours its just pulling you into a different world of wonders
Well done, guys! I feel like this song fits so many characters in fnaf, I won’t list them- but man, is this a good song!
To what I couldn't Seee, and bury me where you can't breach my insecurity, it's time to let go, time to move on
1:32 this sounds kinda like the "Home" where it's like:
They say get closer but I'm scared
They put me down, no this isn't fair
They mock my name
Put me to shame
So like balloons, I'll float away
This goes hard
I can kinda see what people mean when they say it sounds like Home and Obsolete at 1:32 but I hear This Is The End more than anything
This has become one of my favourite FNAF songs from Nate.
and that's saying a lot. My frig they've all been bangers across the years XDDD
This is probably my favorite song in the album.
There's just no way Nate could fail at a song.
He always makes masterpieces!
by far my favorite fnaf song, probably because it just feels like a completely original song, like that of Sandcastle Kingdoms or Paid In Exposure.
your voice really shines on this one. probably the best you've done in a good while 🙏
