Hi, the addi knitting machine is nice, really nice especially for hats! Which I admire the fact you knit hats for your whole class every year. You could do it within a couple hours with the addi machine. Plus scarves are a breeze. I’m not familiar with the the other thing you were asking about at all. Sorry I can’t be more helpful on that. I think the item is a place for the yarn 🧶 to sit on and the handle is for that too. I like knitting needles where I feel you actually knit the hats by hand. Not trying to be a snob but I don’t think that’s handmade sorry not trying to be rude. I love that you make each child your special hat for them. I too love Ross’ pattern 👍🏻🧶🥰

Yo put the handle on that wooden thing. It's for holding a wound hank so you can hang your yarn off your wrist when you knit/crochet.
