Very informative, we're in KweKwe and we do roughly about 20 hectares of green mealies. Your numbers are very accurate, thank you for mentioning good agricultural practices, very important because if your soils are not healthy it becomes very expensive to grow your produce. We sell at the farm gate but are happy because we don't have to deal with transportation issues or "makoronyera ekumusika" the middle men who is also a middle men to another middle men. It's exhausting.
Thanks so much for this throughly-researched content which is also so well-presented. A real gem that brings value and nuggets of knowledge. I think you have found your niche here -aside from the 'Outback' content which is also truly inspiring. Subscribed/liked in an instant. Hope you grow this channel bro.

Nhai want to ask is it practical to use use borehole water to do the dripping irrigation let’s say a borehole was yu drilled a Borehole n got water at 37m but yu continued to 70m. So want to know if it’s ok kurima chibage. Any one with information to assist me
How much water does your borehole yield? How big is your field? Irrigation cares not where the water comes from (river, dam stream etc)...just reliable & sustainable supply.

@@ideationalist so apa need to test yielding capacity hanty ?
@@martinngurunda5088 Yes. You can get calculations done based on your field size/irrigation requirements.
The sad thing is that Mbare Musika git burnt down and is curr tly not being used😢
Sadly Mbare Musika was affected by a huge fire and would likely to be closed for quite some time, Harare, Zimbabwe 😢
Unexpected development for sure. It appears the fire did not burn down the whole Mbare market, but activity will return very soon to affected areas.
It's sad BUT it's high time the city developed other "Mbare Musikas" in other parts of the city as it grows
Love this… is it too late to plant green mealies now in October?
If harvest coincides with over supplied selling window, prices are likely to be low per dozen. Thanks for watching 🙏🏽
@@ideationalist nice well noted.. did the math even at a dollar per dozen one still makes a nice roi.
Can you do rabbit business
Interesting business. Hope to finish on it soon. Thanks for watching 🙏🏽
