Now this brings back memories :) i REALLY love the construction yard. I remember playing not just to get everything, but also just to enjoy the level. Hell the paint puzzle is one of my favorite puzzles ever.
As a kid, I always thought that the wet cement was soggy oatmeal or something. And now that I've played this game as an adult... It still looks like oatmeal.
yeah i always hear over here over here im 17 years old dude and i play Toy story 2 in this moment , is a nice game i miss that moments of my childhood years i started play that game when i was 5 years :(
i love all of these jokes in the kiddy games and shows that would just pass over my head but now that im looking back on these games some of the jokes genuinely make me laugh
And my big question is... what has to do a construction site with the movie/game in particular? Nahh, it's just the cliché. ANYWAY, it was still awesome to climb up to fight that driller, then fall all the way down, just for fun
I never got past this level as a kid :/ oh well.....Hey, one question about the movies. I understand why they didn't let Andy or his family know they could move, but why do they sneak around EVERYWHERE? On the streets and such. Why does it matter if random people see them? Is there some toy law where if you let your sentience be know, you will become inanimate?
I guess it's just an unwritten rule of the toy world to not let a human see you alive. They seem to instinctively become inanimate when they know they're being watched (and they can't risk someone seeing them and taking them away while they are trying to rescue Woody)
tenacious645 Well here's the thing, if you watched the first movie you saw how the toys got their revenge on Sid (the kid that enjoys breaking and blowing up toys) by coming to life in front of him and scaring his pants off. After that he refused to be anywhere near them. A toy's life is about being played with, specifically by kids. If they aren't being played with then they feel empty, and a kid will most likely get frightened by a toy that is alive as they think it is haunted.
@ToyStoryFTW omg thanks for these walktroughes i haventplayed this game for ages and this level was realy har back then with no you tube to help you know : )
@TheMrawesomegamer When I installed it I had to set setup.exe (On the CD) to compatibility mode for Windows 98. To do this, explore the CD, right click setup.exe and click properties. From there, click the compatability tab, check the box labeled "Run this program in compatibility mode for", and from the dropdown list select Windows 98. Click apply and run the program again. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to do. Was there an error message?
I hate this place to pieces. Climbing the huge tower just sucks. And finding the little toys...I can NEVER find the last one the first time I come here.
4:18 I can't believe Slinky calls them _spanners_ instead of _wrenches._ I mean, the game was developed in the United Kingdom, but it involved a United States IP; I don't know why some things aren't changed when localizing a UK game into a US one. Nevertheless, this goal is much easier than the RC race in Level 2 without the boosters.
this game was the first game i ever got in m life and every other game i've ever played seems crap when i think back to playing this game, i know that they're better, but i got more fun out of this game than i will out of any other game ever... :)
i loved it its the "alleys and gullies" level thats the worst part i used to do only 1 level cus it was frickin hard cus of that level i never finished the game completely
Watching you drop down again and again makes me recall all those moments...the amount of frustration. Thx for bringing back good times.

Climbing puzzles in this game was so difficult, and so punishing! But the music
Nostalgia at its finest right here. I spent countless hours on this game as a kid.
Those falls had me yelling at my screen "quick jump! NO!" Then I remembered that no one can here me
Omg this brings so many happy memories...

I used to love this game. Brings back so many memories. I never beat it though.
do you ever think about what the construction workers must have thought about all the random coins and toys floating around?
OSHA would be pissed
At 1:01 the image is from the US version but the audio is from the international version
I knew that music sounded different
And my big question is... what has to do a construction site with the movie/game in particular?
Nahh, it's just the cliché.
ANYWAY, it was still awesome to climb up to fight that driller, then fall all the way down, just for fun
lol i love the noise those tike things make when you collect them. they sound so funny :D
those bouncing screws always take me back😱
Childhood memories..

Buzz: Here we are at the construction site the movie producers thought would be pointless to show in the movie.

When I was a kid, I didn't know about red-hot bolts so I always wondered why there were mushrooms falling from the sky.
I first played this level when I was 8 years old and back then it seemed so hard!
@ToyStoryFTW omg thanks for these walktroughes i haventplayed this game for ages and this level was realy har back then with no you tube to help you know : )
Very good game, the new Toy Story 3 game isn't so good. I remember, I could never defeat Zurk, and when I wanted to replay the game, I lost the CD :,(

I thought the P.C version didn't have cutscenes?
I found it fun to jump off the top :D
I thought the jackhammer was going to be a lot bigger. Like the size of an actual jackhammer. That looks like a toy. And I think it is.
