In the meantime im building a cockpit based around the F-16 so ill have to do less peaking outside the VR headset & more just reaching forward and hitting a button. If you need a wingman to fly against or something for a video you can HMU in the near future and ill give you a run for your money :D

@@chrestonyt112 if you are waiting until Christmas, nothing wrong with waiting to see what the quest pro will look like. If money isn’t an issue, I’d do that. But if you are on a budget, I’m pretty happy with the quest 2 so far. It has roughly the same resolution as my Index before I sold that, and the price can’t be beat. Anyways, if money is an issue, get the quest 2, if not, wait!
Totally get that. For me it’s a trade off: Enemy SA is increased (but in my mind not by much, since Russian RWR Isn’t that great) but on the other hand, friendlies with better RWR can see me easier. I always find it helpful when a friendly has their radar on so I can easily tell who is who on my own RWR.

Like those Navy pilots who with bravery came forward this year, it's okay for you to come clean and talk about what you saw. There appears to be some sort of UFO shaped like an envelope in your training area, please investigate and advise.
It feels amazing. If you’ve never tried VR before, I highly recommend your first experience be in the cockpit. It’s utterly astounding. The video may look shaky, but that is just how it renders. In reality, or I could say, ‘virtual reality’ lol it’s as smooth as normal vision. Sometimes I look forwards to see better, but what you saw in the video is a control titled “VR Zoom” and “VR Spyglass Zoom” under “UI Layer” category. Hope this helps! Have a great day :)
@@charlesbukowski9836 Im thankful to have a pretty killer system. I9 9900k, 2080ti, 32gb ram. It really depends on the mission and the map though. Persian gulf is really easy to run for example, but Caucasus and Syria are much harder and I do lag sometimes.

@@eagiedynamics1779 I haven’t played on it in awhile, but that server is extremely taxing on most systems. I usually play on smaller servers. To be honest I’m not sure what is causing your problem :( I wish I could be of more help!

You should consider running with your radar off since it kinda sucks in the F5. It mostly just a transponder for enemy SA.

I've got a 2080ti. I've tried playing on a 3060 and it's basically as you've described.
Did you compare the Quest 2 with the HP reverb G2? Are you able to read all the gauge/panels?
I did not. I just bought the quest because it was cheap and good. MFDs are harder to see, but I can read most things in the F-5 cockpit.
