Please read before commenting- ( translate.google.com/ ) This big guy took about 3 months to make and has over 6000 pieces. Unfortunately I don't have time for any other new transformers this summer (Hey maybe I can do grimlock next summer?) 1. aranobilis98 i have an idea, why not make different versions of the rest of these guys that instead of combining into devastator, they become separate robots, you don't need to make the robot modes based off from the movie (just fanmade robot modes) if you do make these, please make your own (fanmade) robot mode for the yellow dump truck, because this yellow dump truck looks so cute :3
This is the best Devastator I've ever seen. -Movie accurate details - actually has 9-10 parts instead of just 7/8 -Has a functional Vortex Grinder - vehicles are mostly to scale. - to scale with mini Transformers (like the Skids and Mudflap) - Makes up for missing details with trickery (the tread in the left leg, the cabin on the chest) -yes - *enemy scrotum*
Elijah Ingram Yellow dump truck was present in movie and if you zoom in really close to Devastator's leg with rampage, its there. Yes there is a yellow smaller version of rampage that forms the arm with scrapper which is why it looks a lot bigger.
There is so much to love here, i think one of my favorite things is how the big digger bucket becomes almost like hip detail for the leg joints. That face reveal was 10/10 awesome though
Lego is a lot more challenging as the builds get bigger...the weight and physics sometimes meant giving up certain things / articulation / transformation which is why they resorted to parts forming for voltron. That aside just watching you transform each limb is just pure bad ass lego origami!! You have used click joints in ways i could not in imagine. Will book mark this for reference :D
Thanks so much! I did take some inspiration from you with devastators hip joints since you usually work at a large scale. I actually got to meet the designer for the Voltron set at brickfair virginia this year and he explained the hip joints too!
This is incredible. What makes this even more amazing is that in the movies, they *cheated* - watch the bonus material for 1 and 2, and you learn that to make Optimus Prime the robot design department went out, photographed a bunch of truck parts, and then combined them to make the actual robot mode design... but they did so with little to no concern for the scale or location of what each photo represented. You can get the general "gist" of the main parts of the transformation - doors here, wheels there - but it isn't possible to actually mimic it because the transformation itself is nothing but a bunch of hand-waving Hollywood magic. And Devastator was far worse! Not only that, but their Devastator models crashed their render farm. You've created a true work of art, and have achieved the impossible in the process. It's a damn shame that Hasbro insists on trying to compete against Lego rather than licensing... but then again, I doubt they'd be able to ship your design anyway. And I thought making a realistic-looking, transforming OP was a challenge. Astounding.
The Head makes no sense...?! How on earth do you design that!! A cement truck to that head?! With the amount of detail on both modes. This is absolutely insane. Well done!
The attention to detail with this is incredible. From the way all the parts form together to the enemy scrotum, this is a work of actual art. Be proud of this.
Just stumbled into this video,... and wow! The amount of elements/parts that flips/moves/rotates/etc.on EACH vehicle to get to the robot mode is INSANE... both the individual vehicles and the combined robot looks brilliant. I can't imagine the amount of time and effort went into building this model. Congrats for the end result and a huge thanks for making and sharing this video!

If Hasbro and LEGO contracted you, you surely will turn them even more millionaire than they are, with your magnificent creations like this one. I ended being astonish with this Devastator, the accuracy on transforming really satisfies me as the way it turns to the final form. But wow, almost one hour to transform this monster, really a big deal but worth it.
LEGO work with Hasbro? Not too dang likely. since Hasbro has their own knockoff building bricks that are a smidgen better than MegaBlox Hasbro wants all the candy, and if Takara weren't such schmucks when doing the initial licensing there would have been a chance for someone else with the franchise. Ive seen people attempt to build a lego devastator but they are so small like the little devastator you can get, but this is a live size (to a minifigure) devastator in vechile or robot mode. This is amazing. If you made many of these with instructions on how to build and transform it and sell many of them, i bet youll get rich very quick.
The way it transforms it so creative and advanced. And it looks so movie like in devastator mode. And this having 6000 pieces! Its just amazing and pure genuis how you did it

Thanks so much and sorry for releasing this video so late since I know you really wanted to see it. My next transformer is shown off right at the end of the video
Hi, yes, a guy from 2020, just going through old videos and just wanna say, you really outdone yourself. Be proud of what you do. Keep up the the good work my man. P.S. the yellow dump truck would be payload, and the yellow bulldozer is Bucket-head.
Thanks man! Actually the dump truck and bulldozer don't have official names, those are just fan names. You don't want to know how many people come to this video just to comment that.
I think this is very impressive. Although I think your design could have benefited a little more today now that the Studio Series Devastator is available for reference and comparison.
I watched the whole video and it was absolutely amazing I just need to say y are u say your creations are bad like in the description because they really are not they are amazing. It took you three months to make that well it would take me three decades to make that amazing creation.
A couple of months ago, I finally got my hands on all the studio series to make devastator. I'm watching this video and just comparing the two. I even have lego Voltron on my desk next to him lol this is beyond impressive! Nice work man, wow!
this is actually amazing, bot only does it look the part in every mode, the gimmick is actually very nice, i do wish there would be a way that it could stand on its own, but at that scale there isn't really a way to do that, Lego joints sadly arent capable of holding up its weight, still incredible tho
Take a look at how they did the Voltron. There may be some ideas on the joint loading issues there. Though I agree the models require sturdier joint mechanisms Any machinists out there willing to give it a shot? The basic patent is public domain now so a little creativity and engineering know-how may find a 3rd party solution.
My burger mind just got blown!🤯 He is massive! This must be the best lego Devastator out there! He is so accurate for a lego model that transforms. Imma take my hat (top burgerbun) of for this. It’s beautiful. I am talking about the vacuum cleaner. You know that right?
Thanks so much! That was tricky to get right, i originally had 2 designs for the shell so i gave my robot mixmaster the smaller version. Its really cool to see you here, I remember watching your lego transformers stop motion way before I even made this channel!
I am fine, bxbrix already did an excellent g1 devastator and I like to focus on movie transformers because they have unique designs and haven't been made out of lego a million times already
I highly admire the dedication and ingenuity in this lego creation. Well done man and you actually included all 9 constructicons which is another good observation since most people don't know about the other 2 yellow vehicles.
I still enjoy it too, although it is the weakest of the first trilogy of TF movies. There’s a lot to enjoy in ROTF like Devastator, but the first movie is the best.

Air Raid its 2 in the morning for me
3AM
i started watching at 1am then slept now I'm finishing it
the amount and time and effort he put into this is insane and amazing
I never liked the Michael Bay films, but I gotta say, this is seriously impressive!
Yeah it's like awesome visuals for a horrible movie
Whoever played this music on piano should get an Oscar.
This is truly incredible! I've seen several people try to make a Lego devastator and not come even close to this level of detail and accuracy (including myself admittedly)this is just awesome! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much! It was a crazy journey making this guy, I cant believe I started building him over a year ago
Aranoblis98: *splits mixmaster's vehicle form revealing the devastator face*
Me: EXCUSE ME WTF
im watching this when there are 40,000 views...
there need to be way more my god
400K now
I'm watching in 2020 with 500,000 views
Dam long haul and overload are massive!!! And overload’s almost supersized😃😃😃😃😄😄😄😄😎😎😎😎!!! And devastator is definitely super sized well done that’s absolutely amazing😃😃😃😃😄😄😄😄😎😎😎😎!!!
Thanks haha these guys are much bigger than my standard transformers
Zacimus the master Shooter wow emoji man also I strongly agree
Jeez dude lay off on the Emojis
The yellow dump truck is named payload and the yellow bulldozers name is buckethead
Awesome build!
How is this so incredibly cool?! Especially Scavenger just looks like a lego set of an Excavator!

Actually, Scrapmetal is an excavator, while The Yellow bulldozer that transforms into a left leg is Skipjack and the unnamed bulldozer is Buckethead
@@fathanfachri Exactly
You got all 9 WOW
Yup this is something I don't see people do very often
aranobilis98 by the way the big yellow bulldozer is skipjack, not rampage that’s the red one
It even has wrecking balls
Nice build man I really like all of them I really enjoyed watching this
Dude I’m too high to comprehend this engineering you’re the goat at making this stuff ur actually insane holy shit
You are the best transformer lego builder in history!
Its just amazing and pure genuis how you did it
Tarry Mortlock it is not minifig scale at all
Your right. Its just a little bit to small
Ur actually the most creative LEGO builder ever
This is the best devastator I've seen ever out of Legos and the transformation is well pulled of I can't wait to make my own this really inspires my and Mixmaster is the most interesting and I didn't expect this much complexety well done and 6,000 pieces is alot but it's devestator and scavengor is the most complex transformer I've seen you make and this guy looks great in bolth modes and just wondering what other transformers are you working on
Thanks so much and sorry for releasing this video so late since I know you really wanted to see it. My next transformer is shown off right at the end of the video
Thanks and im wondering about the fallen
The amount of detail on this is amazing, the genius way you created his head is incredible. Amazing job!
Only scrap metal is missing but great job I WANT THOSE TOYS!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😡
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. How it’s this accurate is beyond me.👍🏻
A stop motion on this would be amazing
Devastator has always been my favorite. The de tail for it is pretty good for a lego modEl
I like how you actually spends 1 HOUR just for your viewer to watch, incredible!

“That’s what she said.”
53:54 NOW THAT'S what she said

I think this is very impressive. Although I think your design could have benefited a little more today now that the Studio Series Devastator is available for reference and comparison.
I watched the whole video and it was absolutely amazing I just need to say y are u say your creations are bad like in the description because they really are not they are amazing. It took you three months to make that well it would take me three decades to make that amazing creation.
Thanks! The description was supposed to be a joke (since devastator does suck things up)
Cape8ar 4 i wouldnt even think about making it i cant even afford the pieces probably
Wow speechless what you made here, great work I can't believe they actually transform
Thanks and I really wish lego had stronger joints out there
Take a look at how they did the Voltron.
There may be some ideas on the joint loading issues there.
Though I agree the models require sturdier joint mechanisms
Any machinists out there willing to give it a shot?
The basic patent is public domain now so a little creativity and engineering know-how may find a 3rd party solution.
Him: Just destroys other bots as if they were nothing
Me: NANI!!!
My burger mind just got blown!🤯 He is massive! This must be the best lego Devastator out there! He is so accurate for a lego model that transforms. Imma take my hat (top burgerbun) of for this. It’s beautiful.
I am talking about the vacuum cleaner. You know that right?
Haha thanks so much and for your support as always!
awesome bulk! Finally, a person who understands Devastor was formed by 9 CONSTRUCTIONS😊
I have to say this is inspiring! I love the mixmaster with the cylindrical shape you achieved! Simply amazing!
Thanks so much! That was tricky to get right, i originally had 2 designs for the shell so i gave my robot mixmaster the smaller version. Its really cool to see you here, I remember watching your lego transformers stop motion way before I even made this channel!
I would love to see you make a Lego g1 devastator
I am fine, bxbrix already did an excellent g1 devastator and I like to focus on movie transformers because they have unique designs and haven't been made out of lego a million times already
My God this is so dang awesome
I shed a tear ;-; amazing
I highly admire the dedication and ingenuity in this lego creation. Well done man and you actually included all 9 constructicons which is another good observation since most people don't know about the other 2 yellow vehicles.
This build is creative and brilliant.Keep up the good work man.
I wanna know why this looks better than ss devastator 😭
Cool. I actually thought RoTF was alright. Sad how alot of people hate it
I thought is was enjoyable and not as bad as people think though it definitely isn't my favorite tf film
I still enjoy it too, although it is the weakest of the first trilogy of TF movies. There’s a lot to enjoy in ROTF like Devastator, but the first movie is the best.
Original Devastator was strong. RoTF Devastator was strong AND insane.
Im my opinion g1 devastator was the best
Movie was solid. The first 4 TF movies are my shit and I'm an 80s baby. People just love to com9lain about anything these days.
Dude this guy needs more subs this is amazing! It also inspired me to do my own
I've always been a big fan of ROTF Devastator, and this is an amazing reconstruction!!
