I think mostly why we feel extra depressed on our birthdays are because we are surrounded by people that are acknowledged by their achievements? (i don’t know that’s the right word) but mostly people that I know feel super sad on their birthdays are because they like to ponder over their achievements or why they’re already at this certain age and yet they haven’t achieved things or “lifestyle” that people at their age have achieved so pressure is a thing that they feel but it’s fear also I guess. We all have fear of being left out and hence why the extra sadness on birthdays because that particular day is like your main clock turns 12am again, so the anxiety is there, will be there. It’s normal to feel anxious, we’re humans and we feel. Plus, we’re all our own bully in life and ngl, it all started at one point where someone or something made you feel unworthy of the life you have. I don’t know what made you feel that way but it definitely looks like someone or something made you doubt yourself although you are progressing in life better than others, maybe not faster as other-others, (don’t know if that make sense either) Just don’t put yourself in a race where you don’t have the gear to wear, it’s unfair to you, If life is the talking referee, it would say that you’re DQ-ed. I know it’s hard but we all shine in our own way and there will be the time set for us to really shine. Again, it’ll take time but you’ll always be at where you want to be. Meanwhile at that, just keep telling yourself that “I will be exactly I want to be, even if it takes 10 years to do so and I’m not gonna beat myself up over it nor will I ever let anyone made me feel like I want to beat myself over it” I think self assuring myself made me feel less shitty and less anxious when I see a race is going on, because I know if I participate in a race with no gears on, I can’t start and I will just cry on why I can’t move. So reassure yourself every time you feel less productive or you feel like you’re going nowhere or things are not falling into places. Things will fall into places when the time is for you. Don’t worry, I think you’re splendid. Genuinely 🥹

I think mostly why we feel extra depressed on our birthdays are because we are surrounded by people that are acknowledged by their achievements? (i don’t know that’s the right word) but mostly people that I know feel super sad on their birthdays are because they like to ponder over their achievements or why they’re already at this certain age and yet they haven’t achieved things or “lifestyle” that people at their age have achieved so pressure is a thing that they feel but it’s fear also I guess.
We all have fear of being left out and hence why the extra sadness on birthdays because that particular day is like your main clock turns 12am again, so the anxiety is there, will be there. It’s normal to feel anxious, we’re humans and we feel.
Plus, we’re all our own bully in life and ngl, it all started at one point where someone or something made you feel unworthy of the life you have.
I don’t know what made you feel that way but it definitely looks like someone or something made you doubt yourself although you are progressing in life better than others, maybe not faster as other-others, (don’t know if that make sense either)
Just don’t put yourself in a race where you don’t have the gear to wear, it’s unfair to you, If life is the talking referee, it would say that you’re DQ-ed.
I know it’s hard but we all shine in our own way and there will be the time set for us to really shine.
Again, it’ll take time but you’ll always be at where you want to be. Meanwhile at that, just keep telling yourself that “I will be exactly I want to be, even if it takes 10 years to do so and I’m not gonna beat myself up over it nor will I ever let anyone made me feel like I want to beat myself over it”
I think self assuring myself made me feel less shitty and less anxious when I see a race is going on, because I know if I participate in a race with no gears on, I can’t start and I will just cry on why I can’t move.
So reassure yourself every time you feel less productive or you feel like you’re going nowhere or things are not falling into places. Things will fall into places when the time is for you. Don’t worry, I think you’re splendid. Genuinely 🥹
