@@barbaraann6229 Senator Kennedy made stipulations for this nominee to answer some "very simple" questions, which he obviously refuses to do as do most of Biden's leftwing activist nominees. When a nominee has to skirt around direct questions in order to not answer them, that's a complete red flag. Most of these nominees try to distance themselves from positions or statements that they've made in the past. Does that not concern you at all? There are only 5 minutes allowed for these questions to be asked and answered. I appreciate senators that get directly to the point. Most of these nominees appear to be completely stupid or try to run the clock out with their non-answers.

This "Honorable" judge really does have opinions. He is hiding them to avoid opposition. As soon as he is appointed he will rule according to his opinions as soon as a relevant case crosses his desk.

Therefore their personal opinions are extremely important. And by these opinions, the Senator can judge whether the nominee is qualified. But there must be a standard to judge according to, and that standard is the Truth, and the Truth is Jesus Christ, God's Word. That nominee hides his opinions because he knows they are not in accordance with those of Senator Kennedy, nor, more essentially and importantly, with the Truth. If they matched with the Truth, he would own them openly when questioned because he would have the courage of his convictions.

This is a great example of the farce that the process of choosing judges has become. In the last 3 decades we have had presidents appoint judges to the Supreme Court that I do not believe would have been appointed by thoseCy presidents if the presidents had any inclination to believe that
those in judicial nominees, would ever render an opinion like they have as Supreme Court justices.
This idea that the nominees cannot disclose personal opinions about laws because they be asked to rule on a are concerning that subject in the future is bunk! I believe a thorough investigation into their past is important and I think that before a nominee is nominated, they should be thoroughly investigated and really should be able to see how they have rolled on issues up to the point of being a nominee. I do not think that the Supreme Court should have anyone younger than 35 on the bench.

The Constitution us very clear on the guidelines of the conduct of a judge and his or her obligation go look at both sides of ANY issues and to weight the verdict according to each case which may not allow for personal opinions yet ultimately a judge is suppose to place him or her self into both sides while causing personal opinions on both sides... which us why jury trials ar so vital so the judge doesn't become a basket case.
