Imo parents should talk to kids like an adult. In this way they learn vocabulary early and become smarter. Nothing wrong with baby talk tho.
Yes! It’s so important not to shorten words or use, “baby talk,” too much around babies. Maybe if you’re trying to excite them but that’s it. Babies absorb the ways a parent talks to them and will try and mimic it.
Yeah it's good for speech development. My parent did that with me and my brother. So i learnt to speak in early.

I love seeing a positive representation of a black mother and her daughter. A lot of the time black mothers are shown as aggressive and teeter along the lines of abusive. The mother shown in the video seems to be engaged with her child, loving, kind, patient, and open to having her daughter experience new things. It’s beautiful and I’m really happy to see this
