So happy to see this reaction they are from my home town and my sister is friends with the guitarist sister so i grew up on them and i think they are one of the most underrated bands out there. Also murder mitten is just another name for michigan and detroit where they are from. Love the vids keep killing it 🤘🏼
Also a great song by them is running with scissors because it really shows off devins vocals in a great way or the song 3D to see how they first started out as a band

So glad you've been reacting to all of my favorite bands lately man. In case you wanted to know Devin is the clean vocalist and Andrew is the brother who was the former drummer but moved to backing vocals, keyboards, and programming. Andrew used to drum with Dre Beats Headphones on at the older shows. The screamer Zach Johnson and the rhythm guitarist were asked to leave the band before their last album came out and Jeff Valentine the bassist and Brent Allen the lead guitarist are still in the band along with the new drummer Dakota Sammons. They are a 4 piece band now but Dakota I'm guessing is pretty much going to remain in their lineup permanently.
Luke Holland recorded all the drums for the most recent album. I think their new drummer is just the touring drummer.

Devin and Andrew Oliver are the brothers that started the band, Devin being the lead signer while Andrew does some vocals and play various instruments for the band. The track "Light in a cave" has both of the brothers singing together. Also, the song name comes from the originating in Michigan.
Definitely gotta check out some of their acoustic versions of their songs too!

You probably know by now but yes, the lead singer is Devin Oliver. The guy on the drums is Andrew his brother. The term mitten refers to a town in Michigan that they are from. The song is about their mom and her drinking problem. They were evicted from their house as kids and things got bad. Devin and Andrew are both in the band. Devin has an amazing musical range and is wonderful. He also has his own side music under Shybeast.
