I really love how you really break down the fragrance you're talking about. This is a great video. To me, you're a master at taking us on the journey about the fragrance. I'd purchase all the fragrances you are mentioning. Once again, you're masterful. I would like for you to tell us where you wore fragrance. Are you putting your normal 3 sprays on and moving along with life. Are you wearing the fragrance two- three days in a row? Thanks for all you do in telling us about fragrances. You're a master.
Great to hear from you Clarence; thank you for your encouragement and uplifting remarks🙏🏽 ⚡️ I love that these episodes resonate with others, it's fun sharing my love for these beautiful creations. I find that most Amber fragrances have a lot more potency so I never go heavy with the spraying. My ritual always stays the same; meaning 3 sprays on skin to take me through the whole day. With Amber Sultan I do spray 4 times. For me it's a bit much at the start but I've discovered that on this one I need one more spray to take me through the day. As I mentioned even though it's deep, resinous and spicey it's not a big pushing fragrance; but unique to my collection and love wearing it. Whereas Crep Scil is super monster! 2 sprays and I'm done baby!! Hope that helps Clarence, thanks for reaching out mate👊🏽 very much appreciate the support💫
Excellent segment on amber Marcelo. You've convinced me to sample Blond Amber for sure. I tried Grand Soir many months ago during an MFK event and enjoyed that one as well. Back in the 80s I used to wear Egyptian amber on it's own, always had a few pieces in this beautiful wooden box. Good work mate!
I love it! You've taken up the 'Blonde Amber Challenge'! Please report back; would love to see what the general consensus is on this one🤔 Thanks for reaching out Fred, great to hear from you my brother💫
Marcelo, another brilliant series! Ambers are one of my favorite fragrance notes. Really I’m super proud to always recommend your channel to my friends whom are wanting to learn abit more about niche, cause there’s always something different, informative and super useful and educational on your channel! Super proud to be a member and be part of your community 🥹❤️✨
You're one of the OG's Vera😎 and hope you didn't mind the little shout out! I still remember that Grand Soir was your fragrance of choice that you shared with all of us on the inaugural Live International Mate Talk last year Thanks for your constant support👊🏽 very much appreciated Vera♥️
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Aww no, please I’m absolutely honoured that you remembered as well! Always a pleasure to be a part of this and I really can’t wait to finally meet you and as many people in the community especially in Melbourne when I head there again. Would be so so awesome to meet all of you in person to really nerd out about all these amazing fragrances. It’s been an absolutely crazy journey and I can’t wait for more in the future!! 🥹❤️🔥
Hey man, love your videos. Feels like a lot of what I would like to communicate to others when discussing fragrance, you can articulate quite well. Very enjoyable to have this in the back while I work, literally feels like i was just hanging out having a sampling session and hearing their thoughts. You're doing something in this niche that no one else is doing quite like you!
What an incredible comment to read💫 As the Italians would say "Grazie Mille" @PwnageEngage So grateful for the encouraging remarks and appreciative that this style of conversation is working for so many. It's a joy connecting with everyone on the 'art of perfumery' Appreciate the support👊🏽
How glorious is this perfume! and it's clear that I need to smell Benzoin on its own...I'm sure this would be an awesome experience♥️ There is something soul stirring about a beautiful deep, resinous amber smell....I love it! Great to hear from you @qaidikramuddin, thanks for sharing💫
It's one of the greatest Fragrances ever created, period. To my nose it smells like a luxury spiced rum, with herbs and vanilla in it - that dries down to a beautiful benzoin-amber combo. Just art in a bottle. Not cloying sweet, not smokey, not sticky syrupy and not too herbal. Perfect, just perfect.
What an amazing, inspired , amber line-up. You definitely piqued my interest in the last two. Indeed, Amber Sultan has now been added to my shopping list. The gem by Christian is now part of a quest merely to see & sniff…I mean , “Wow! Just wow!!”. 👍🏾
Thank you George💫 Loved reading your comment and yes, I would strongly recommend Ambre Sultan♥️glorious fragrance....and maybe we could experience this alongside each other in the Serge Lutens Palais Royal boutique in Paris next year 😉 Great to hear from you mate, hoping all is well in your part of the world!👊🏽
Great to hear from you Adz...absolutely, I know you'd love Blonde Amber! Just quietly, you would rock Ambre Sultan😎 I know you love all things Orto Parisi and I find that the spice's and deep resinous tones of this fragrance would suit a 5 Star General like you my friend🎖️ Thanks for jumping into the conversation homie
Listen man this is hands-down the best fragrance review channel on TH-cam. There’s so many factors that go into that as well. From the passion to the actual description editing and visual stimulation. Staying away from the traditional hype, beast, trying to promote certain brand type of nonsense that we see these days. These are almost therapeutic. Happy to see this finally getting traction. Hands-down, the best reviewer in my opinion
All I can say is "thank you"🙏🏽♥️ Really appreciate the support and so happy that you're enjoying this style. Thank you again Stas for your support and taking the time to share💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector you’re welcome the whole entire team deserves credit but the description the little description of the notes in the visuals where the notes appear on the side of the bottles of physical fruits and pictures of woods like it’s just perfect. Good stuff man
@stasbryant1879 you’re right in saying that the team deserves credit Sta💫👊🏽 I’m so grateful for their great work and the support that they provide… the girls are awesome⚡️ Thank you again for reaching out my brother🙏🏽
Just found your channel today when researching Starlight (which I just blind bought). Can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate your descriptions, setup, video quality, and most of all, perfume reviews!!! Subscribed!
Beautiful breakdown of these fragrances. I really love the visual touch showing the ingredients. It helps me smell it or imagine the smell haha. Excited for Blonde Amber to arrive 🔥
Hey Marcelo, I talked to the owner of Berlin's niche fragrance store "Parfümsalon" today and told him about you and your channel... When you come to Berlin one day, he will gladly welcome you and friends!
Boom Baby!! This can only mean one thing.....I need to get on over!!😎✈️ Promise that I will be in Berlin in the near future. No date but I'm a big believer in 'putting it out to the universe' and then sit back and 'let it flow' (mind you with a lot of hard work, but never pretend to be in control; I'll leave that to higher powers) I appreciate you already planting the seed with "Parfümsalon" this will make it easier the day that I reach out and ask if we can use the place as a meet up😉 Thanks again @darth_hansel4466 (if you're ok with this, would love to know your name?)
Pure class Marcelo. I’ve adored Clive Christians’ Amber wood, but the dry down has a strong oud and doesn’t sit well with my skin, I will try the Blonde Amber and see how that one goes.. Great vid as always 🙋🏻♀️
Always great to hear from you Stani and yes, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on Blonde Amber....if Sandra, Grace my editor (and practically everyone else that I've shown this fragrance too) is anything to go by; I think this might be a winner 💫♥️ Thanks for jumping into the conversation Stani, always love reading your comments👊🏽
As always Athanasios, thank you for reaching out and connecting👊🏽 I 100% support your recommendation to place Immortelle in the 'divine' category😇 In truth I place a lot of Mano's fragrance's in this category....he owns a number of really exceptional fragrances Great to hear from you my friend💫
I had to pause so i could spray Grand Soir so i could watch this episode. Love a good amber. I didn't know Petit Matin was a sibling of that fragrance, might have to add to my Christmas list for Santa, thanks. I'm fortunate enough to have RD Sweetie Aoud in my collection. A beautiful and complex gourmand amber fragrance, just love it, but for special occasions only. That last bottle of yours - Epic ! 🙌
Congratulations to you Thomas for having Sweetie Aoud in your collection🥰 I really need to add this one and Amber Aoud to my collection, but boy oh boy do I have to save up those dollars! Good for you mate! Hopefully Santa reads your letter and you're fortunate to receive Petit Matin...glorious for our coming summer! Did you see how low the juice was in the bottle? Gives you an idea on how much of a bigger hitter it is in my family♥️ Thanks for reaching out mate; great to hear from you
I do love a good Amber. I've only tried four of those and I only own Starlight but I'll probably buy Amber Premier next year because I want a couple of other Jovoy ones first. Great video as always!
Great choice with Starlight Lee...brilliant fragrance😇 And yes, a big recommendation on Ambre Premier this perfume is exceptional (plus the value for money is off the hook!)....once you get the chance to test I'd be curious to know your thoughts Great to hear from you mate👊🏽
Thank you, Anna! So happy that you enjoyed this episode ; I do enjoy creating these episodes and sharing on the art of perfumery, but also the love of these amazing fragrances Always good to hear from you
Just purchased blonde amber because of you, i ordered a sample and was blown away.. this pushed me over the edge hahahah. Thanks for all your great videos
How incredible is this fragrance! And yes, it does come with a hefty price tag but the good news is that it has awesome power and projection plus I find that for me I don’t need more than three sprays🥰💫 Wonderful to connect with you Ismael, thank you for reaching out👊🏽
Out of my collection of over 200 fragrances, Blonde Amber is in my top 5. An absolutely divine fragrance that I've never regretted purchasing ($600 AUD for 50ml)
@kevintio3067 I’m based in Australia… So my retailer to go for is Libertine Parfumerie💫♥️ they carry a massive range of niche fragrances from around the world www.libertineparfumerie.com.au/
How would you compare Grand Soir to Blonde Amber? I have GS, but I am considering Blonde Amber; would it be redundant? Or even redundant if I already own Hedonistic?
Sir this was a master class on the range of Amber and your love of fragrances. Well done. I too had the Clive Christian Blonde Amber experience, one spray on hand and in about 35 minutes my Sillage range exploded out to about 13 feet! It was glorious.
What an awesome comment to read! Thank you Malik for reaching out; very much appreciate your support💫 And yes! How incredible is Blonde Amber!!!♥️ I love this experience that you had...I have to agree with you! Thanks again for reaching out, awesome to connect @malikmuhammad3784
Welcome!!💫 So happy that you've discovered the channel...thank you for reaching out @annacama8313; I'm hoping that Grand Soir is a 'knock out of the park' for you!!♥️🤩
Very well done sir. Very well respected. Superb choices. I have several of these. But I keep it simple and clean… 1. Amber Wood and Blonde Amber - CC 2. Grand Soir-MFK 3. Amber Absolute - TF
Xerjoff starlight was a love on the first sniff. It smells exactly like our German Christmas spiced Spekulatius cookies or sugar / chocolate coated gingerbread. Pure Christmas heaven. Also reminds me of our German Christmas markets (fairs). It’s just so spicy and sweet, warm and balsamic
A massive THANK YOU! Really appreciate the support Marcel (cool name by the way😉) Very appreciative that you enjoyed this episode and the content overall♥️👊🏽 Grazie Mille💫
You can’t put a price on luxury if you want to be stylish. Go to the very top floor of Harrods Department Store in London, The Perfume houses up there are remarkable.
Love the video! Although I don't like Ambers, it's nice to smell them but I don't feel like putting them on, even in winter. For the video I tried Ambre Premier and I was like what am I smelling, but you nailed it with the explanation and the fizzyness. I also tried Ambre Safrano again and it is really good, I found Saffran to be one of my favorite fragrances notes recently.
Great to hear from you Sem and I love that you dived in and tested some these Amber fragrance's....and I'm glad that you had a similar experience with Ambre Premiere....did you like it? Or not really? (totally understanding that Amber isn't your thing) I believe you've tried out Crystal Saffron by Matiere Premiere? This one is glorious for that Saffron note♥️ Thanks for jumping into the conversation Sem💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Hey sorry for the late reaction on this one, I didn't really like Ambre Premiere but I enjoyed that it smelled different than what I'm used to. Amber is not really my thing, Grand Soir is also good but just not for me. Crystal Saffron is glorious and I hope to get it one day, but first BDK Villa Neroli and Meo's Sogni
What a gift it is this video i dont know if you remember marcelo but i was so curious to know you talk about Blonde amber im so happy to finally have a video of you talking about it(I mean if you one day do a in depth review i dont complain ahahahahahah ), i never smelled Blonde Amber but one day i really hope to smell and save to have it :D i have some samples from BDK parfums and the 4 samples are (Gris Charnel Extrait it was my curiosity and then, amber safrano( i loved it to me is a leather jacket drawn in some booze ), Crème de Cuir that you talked and i really loved , and Tabac Rose (this one inicially was smelling a little bit granny like the way the rose was to me but now ? my godness i love it ahahahaha 3 of them where based on your opinion and has you can see i loved them all Starlight from Xerjoff i have a sample too because of you too Marcelo... and man I know for a fact that fragrance gets along with me so well like you say its magic aahahahahahaha My mom LOVES Grand Soir on me says she always says "that fragrance just smells really like you" Loved the video i am always going to revisit this one. A Giant ass hug from Portugal my man Its always special to see my favorite youtuber talk Like you say its always good to connect with you
I loved reading your comments here Rodrigo! And I love that you've made Grand Soir as your own (mothers never lie; if this fragrance is you; then it's you for life....trust me on this) Makes me happy to hear that you've fully explored those 4 BDK's; in my opinion all 4 are "Pure Magic"...with the black horse being Creme de Cuir....you'll discover that this one is really incredible and so complex! (BTW I laughed as I read your comments on Tabac Rose....this fragrance has some vodoo in it😎💫) As always homie; awesome to connect with you. One day we'll meet in person👊🏽
Great video again Marcelo! I love ambers, and you're completely right about the evocative imagery of a warm, protective hug. I didn't know that it was purely a fantasy note, that's why I love your videos; the history behind each note is always so fun to learn. In terms of other amber fragrances I love: Ambra Aurea frm Profumma Roma and Le Lion from Chanel, are two I'd include! It's hard to find, but I have got to try Crep Scil as soon as I can. Provenzo is a legend, and one of my favorite fragrances ever is one of his creations: Persephone's Patchouli from Electimuss. Hope you are well marcelo, and looking forward to the next video :)
Always a treat to hear from Mr Bond😎 and I'm glad that you enjoyed this line up (there were so many more but I don't want to create a 2 hour production😑) I'm familiar with Le Lion and yes awesome fragrance. You're now the second person recommending Ambra Aurea so clearly I need to up my game and get on this! Thanks again for reaching out @JamesBond-qt7th awesome to hear from you
Thank you!! What an awesome comment to read💫👊🏽 Really appreciate your support and yes! Love the idea creating a line up with those perfume notes (both a big favourites🥰) Thanks again for reaching out @mehdibc5852
I also totally agree!! He and his content are like a big beautiful organic onion!! There's so many layers and depth. Love it!! Keep up the awesome work my man. Much love xx
Thank you🙏🏽 Really appreciate the support @JokerG16; so happy that you're enjoying this content💫 Yes, I've experienced a few of the PDM's, nothing has really jumped out at me yet; but I know that they have an awesome line up of ambery gems in their collection....any particular stand out hits for you?
When you smell into it, the grand soir has an earthy, soil like tone in the base. To me, in the top and mid it’s also somewhat boozy in a way it’s not alcoholic or woody, more like cognac. It’s also creamy and tobacco-ey
Love your description Seuni....and yes, I can detect that very thing. It does have a slight booziness to it...I really think that vanilla and amber accord that Francis has created is divine💫 Thanks for reaching out and sharing @ile_klikow, awesome to hear from you
Thank you Christos! Appreciate you reaching out and yes, big recommendation for both Ambre Safrano and Crep Scil....I think you'll love Ambre Sultan too♥️
I have only MFK Grand Soir from this list, I can't say it's my favorite fragrance, but it's really nice, I also think that Amouage Material that I bought for my mam , has some strong amber accord as well.
The only ones from the list I know, and have, are Grand Soir and Starlight… which are both amazing! I got them both a couple months ago and so happy with them. Also, I’m a big cardamom fan!
Awesome choice on both Jaime💫 If you love Cardamon then you need to check out Ambre Sultan...this will be heaven for you I think Great to hear from you mate👊🏽
Thank you so much, Marcello. Really lovely and detailed description of the fragrances. (Add to growing list of "to get fragrances") When you mentioned the spices in the notes, I thought (for some reason) of fennel. When I cook, I use spices on a regular basis. And I find the sweet smell of fennel seeds amazing. Would you know of fragrances that carry that nuance and aroma of fennel seeds? And if so, could you do a video on this subject? Take care.
Firstly, a massive THANK YOU for your support @hmagix9554, always good to hear from you. And let me say, I go your back😎. Check out this Mate Talk on that very note that you love (which I too love in perfumery) th-cam.com/video/N_Jy6KPMFvY/w-d-xo.html At the 22min mark onwards, I cover 5 fragrance's that I own which have that beautiful fennel/licorice note...enjoy!
@TheNicheFragranceCollector Thank you kindly. I checked out the mentioned link. And it's fab! And found here in the UK a niche perfume brand that I had been hoping it would fly over from down under, and that's Anka Kus 😄. Will order discovery set first.
Pleased by the Petit Matin love shown here, fantastic scent, agreed that it doesn’t get discussed enough, possibly as the attention for fresh MFKs gets sucked up by the oversized aqua range
Yep, it's funny that it's become a 'poor cousin' to the Aqua range when in my opinion it's one of the big hitters in the MFK line up! BTW I alway film any new perfume purchase straight away and then just put the footage in a video library for the day that I need to use the shot; however I forgot to do this with Petit Matin and everyone in my family hits this fragrance hard! As you could tell from the b-roll shot that had so much missing from the bottle (which incidentally was giving me major OCD😵💫😂...but I had no choice but to use the shot!) So yes, we're all 'true believers' on this fragrance♥️ Great to hear from you @chlvrs, thanks for reaching out
When i have tried Ambre Nuit by Dior i thought it was out of this world,i absolutely fall in love with that fragrance.I am very new to nishe world and haven't tried any in this list but wondering if these are even better then Ambre Nuit ? Thank you
Awesome to hear from you @haromatik and have to say that I personally haven't tested Ambre Nuit by Dior, so don't know for certain what this would be like. I had a quick look at the notes and some description on it and if you want to make some comparisons from this list, then I would recommend you try out: Blonde Amber and Starlight I think you'll be impressed with both of these...good luck 💫
Celo one fine fellow! What’s good brother. It’s been a while since I’ve popped my head in. The algorithm knows when Amber comes up you BETTER alert me. I couldn’t wait to watch. My number one Amber right now is Profumum Roma Ambra Aurea. My top right now include Tauer 02, 40 knots, Grand Soir, Ambre Sultan, Chergui, Nishane Ambra Calabria Just or name a few. Dope video as always. Thank you for this brother
You should be a poet👨🏼🎨 I love your rhyme😂 You're now about the 6th person that has mentioned Profumum Roma Ambra Aurea! It's clear that I made a mistake in not testing this one the last time I was in their boutique...but promise to correct!! Thanks for the extra recommendations, all glorious fragrance's ♥️ great to hear from you Shawn👊🏽
❤Good Evening Sensei Marcelo😀I❤how to express about all those perfume! You’re the best ! Wishing all the best with all your family 🌹Thank u so much as always 🎉🎉🎉
In this genre Amber Absolute would be my number one, Au Coeur du Désert number two. And I really should get Ambre Sultan, my decant was emptied many moons ago. I like your 50 ml bottle a lot and wish it was available in shops. 100 ml would last two lifetimes…
Great to hear from you Gerard and love your recommendations. I haven't tested Amber Absolute but yes to Au Coeur du Désert....this one is glorious♥️ The Ambre Sultan bottle is the in store Limited Edition that I picked up at the Serge Lutens boutique on the recent France Tour and I have this awesome photo of it, taken by someone on on that tour😉 Hoping you're well mate, thanks for jumping into the conversation👊🏽
Great to hear from you Vasyl and 100M% YES to Amber Aoud🥰 One day I hope to own this one (really gotta save up those dollars!) I had a sample of this and it was my prized possession....glorious, heavenly scent♥️ Have you had a chance to test this as yet Vasyl?
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector yes, I did test it already several times. This perfume is so luxury and you can’t wear it every day. You have to wear it in some special moments … I would say three notes very dominant in this well blended composition. Rose + Oud + Amber awesome combo. There is so many notes perfectly balanced each other (Saffran, Fig, Ambergris, Birch …) and you can feel quality of this natural ingredients. Good longevity, sillage is moderate. Very special and spectacular perfume
An excellent production Marcelo, please keep doing these. I appreciate they take a lot more prep time but they are also unique when you talk about the companies and components. Love your French accent 🙂, a few more trips to F and you will be a native speaker. 🙏🙏🙏
I promise that I'm trying my hardest with the French accent😂 I want it to sound natural and not contrived....which I'm guessing I don't always achieve 🤔 but surely I get some points for trying😬 Great to hear from you Ilias👊🏽
Wow what a lineup is right. I have Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan and yes it's bold and it has been a journey, as I believe these perfumes are meant to be. I find the oregano note a bit too much, too in my face for my liking, ( could you fade now, please? lol) but I appreciate this journey, I really do.
Allo Marcello, appy Xmas an New Year to you an all lookin in. Thanks for bein one of the best an most expressive of our educational experts on these fragrances. ❤❤❤🥃🥃🥃🙏🙏🙏👊👊👊💯💯💯🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hi! New to your channel and newly subscribed. I just started my fragrance journey into Niche and I’m very excited on getting my samples for Xerjoff and yes Starlight is one of them. My first Niche was Lamar after watching one of your videos. Great video ❤
@The Niche Fragrance Collector Tnx for the great review. I have one question and one suggestion. First, what do you think for night out which one is more sexy for men Blonde Amber or C Woody leather from CC house? And suggestion is you should try Puredistance Black. So elegant amber, rich, misterious...
Awesome to hear from you Stefan and thank you for your recommendation...I just had a look and we don't have a retailer in Australia that I can test...there's an online store, but I'm not a fan of blind buying. However I promise that I will eventually get around to checking this one out! In my opinion I would lead with Blonde Amber on a first date. Everything about the scent profile to this fragrance is appealing, inviting, warm, seducing, calming. I really love C Masculine but I personally wouldn't wear it on a first date. I find that 'Leather' fragrance's come across as very assertive and C Masculine is a beast in this space. But this is my thoughts only. Good luck @stefanbanovic! I'll be curious to know what you decide in the end💫
Thank you so much for your way of describing each one and you're really teaching perfumes not just describe. If you please would find some sandalwood perfumes to teach me about . By the way as a pilot you're a great perfumes instructor.
Unreal review, well done. But you have to put another one on the list and that is Rosendo Mateu 5. Btw on me, grand soir last way longer than ambre saffrano
Awesome to hear from you Filip💫 and I do love how our body chemistry plays a major role in these beautiful fragrances And totally agree that Rosendo 5 belongs in this category! I don’t actually own this fragrance, I have a sample of it and absolutely adore it… It’s clear that I need to do an amber 2.0 episode to include all these other beautiful and fragrances.😎
PS- The temp is FINALLY dropping in New Jersey, USA . Approximately 35* today. Perfect, in my opinion, for Amber Fragrances. I wore Ambre Premiere yesterday and am wearing Benjoin 19 today. I purchased Benjoin 19 in September of 2020 and have only worn it twice. That changes today. 😉
Oooh Benjoin 19!!😍 I've heard great things about this City Exclusive! Curious, did you buy it in Moscow or took advantage of their Sept promo's that they do?? Good choice George💫
You are an awesome story teller… off topic I listened to you describe megamare and you truly drew me in. New subbie here❤ ready to hear about these beautiful ambers
Thanks for reaching out Lashonda. Ah yes, storytelling has always been my thing. I love hearing great stories and I also realise that as 'people' we connect via storytelling....not sure if you saw this episode I created: th-cam.com/video/UhzXvA2yuew/w-d-xo.html. This really captures the joy we all experience with a story well told Thank you for your support @lashondaallen5530 💫 very appreciative and thanks again for reaching out👊🏽
Evening Marcelo my friend. I've added new amber parfum, relegated Gran Sior to 2nd, Ambre Safrano 3rd place. Cartier Oud & Amber, sample it should you get a chance to, from South Africa 🇿🇦 Joburg South. Jovoy & Clive Christian on my radar
Thanks for the recommendation Cyril, need to check this out...the thought of an Oud/Amber combo sounds like magic💫...espeically since it's now in your No#1 position! Boom Baby⚡️ I'll be curious to know your thoughts on the 'Blonde Amber Challenge'...please report in; going to do a tally on this🤩 Great to hear from you mate👊🏽 hoping you're well
Un Saludo cálido desde Puerto Rico! Me encanta su contenido. Sus descripciónes me ayudan visualisar las esencias de las fragrancias que presentas! Xerjoff Starlight me llama...
Gracias Ignacio, me alegra mucho que hayas disfrutado esta reseña y gracias por tu apoyo. ¡Y si! Starlight es gloriosa!! Te va a encantar♥️💫 @ignaciorey6817
I love ambers in the colder months and I am feeling validated that 3 of the ambers I own have made up into this list: grand soir, ambre premier and Starlight. Since I keep in great consideration your opinion , I was curious to know your thoughts about a recent purchase I have made, Ambre 114 by Histoires de Parfums: is it an easy wearable amber? I find it perfect for holiday season, but I am intrest to know what you think about! Is it a little bit to spiced or dense in your opinion?
Boom Baby!!♥️ That's already 3 votes for ambra aurea in the comments on this episode. It's clear that I need to get on this!! Great to hear from you Dan👊🏽
I'm so inspired by this video. Love Amber, the only one I sampled of these is grand soir and it's my favourite offering from MFK. I'm really keen on the rest especially blonde Amber. Sounds divine. Have you tried ambra by jeroboam? One of my favourite
Awesome to connect and I'm so happy that you enjoyed this episode....amber fragrance's are the best🥰 Wait till you try Blonde Amber!! I haven't had the chance to test out Ambra but will make it a point to check this out when I go next to Oligarch (my local niche boutique here in Melbourne💫) Great to hear from you @maisali3152
Hey Marcelo. I must say your words are poetic when it comes to perfumery. Absolutely brilliant with your descriptions. I recently purchased X masculine by Clive christian, but after watching this I'm starting to wish I had bought blonde amber instead. What do you think about both scents? Do you recommend I should get blonde amber as well? Or is x masculine enough?
Thank you Danny, what an awesome comment to read!💫 So glad that you enjoyed this episode. The problem is you're asking the wrong person about buying another fragrance😉...my short answer is always going to be 'yes' 😎 But in all seriousness; there is a massive difference between X Masculine and Blonde Amber. I consider X as one of my all time favourite winter fragrance. It's incredible and to make matters more complicated for you, check out this episode: th-cam.com/video/aeqDgEtm4Cg/w-d-xo.html Blonde Amber is an all year round classic that is glorious. It's a marked difference to X and will compliment your fragrance wardrobe perfectly. Hopefully I answered your question but have a feeling I didn't make it easier 🙄....thanks again for reaching out Danny, awesome to connect
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Thanks for the reply! Yes, both are undeniably great fragrances and a blessing to have in a collection. And after reading your reply I'm convinced to buy blonde amber even more. However I also really like E gourmande oriental from the private line. And knowing it's going to be discontinued I know I have to get my hands on it. So the real question is... blonde amber or E gourmande? I have smelled both and they just make me feel euphoric. I'm asking you since you have a nose most people dream to have. Which one is the better fragrance overall?
@@dannykable1651 Yikes, I feel I'm going to get you deeper into that hole!!! You need E Gourmoud!!! Oh Mamma, what a fragrance! Have a look at this episode where I blind smell this and have a look at the response 🥰th-cam.com/video/pwbKK2yyIDo/w-d-xo.html Now in my own defence....you're asking the question; I'm only answering them😇😉
Grand Soir is "Amber for babies". It is about as basic as an amber fragrance can come, it's simple & elementary. Not necessarily bad however as it's a worthwhile consideration for somebody starting to dabble in niche. I will accept that Blonde Amber challenge. My biggest issue with Blonde Amber is the inability of reviewers to put proper emphasis on the performance and complexity you would expect from a €550/50ml retail fragrance, because in amber floral terms, you'd expect Oud Satin performance for the price point (and you don't get it). The opening borrows tones from Hedonistic (which is fine), but the drydown I find quite feminine as the amber and tobacco share the floor with the florals, and tuberose is a notoriously feminine floral for my nose. I like Starlight a lot, but I don't think of it as an amber fragrance - it has a sharp spiciness to it with a dominating cardamom note, perhaps more-so resins than amber. Ambre Safrano is not it imo, it borrows tones from other fragrances and makes nothing of it, as drydown is quite synthetic with that leather-sandalwood-rose combination. I haven't smelled the other 3, I think I did smell the Serge Lutens once but it just blended in with the rest of their house that I so far feel underwhelmed by.
Was it a recent formulation of Ambre sultan that you tried? The opening used to be very arresting with the aromatic herbs and angelica coming on strong over a dry amber that gradually sweetened (but not all that much) as it developed. Now is a different story, with sweet amber balancing the aromatics at the start. It's pleasant (more palatable to most noses I'd hazard), but not the same. The balance used to be across the development, but now is obvious at first spray.
As always, love reading your comments @DivineFrag (as my brain plays the scene with J.Jonas reviewing Peter's photo's 😂) I love that you've taken up the 'Blonde Amber' challenge, but I'm putting money down on how this is going to end 😑 Any recommendations of Ambers that you're enjoying? Would either love to test or see if I have in my collection....great to hear from you mate👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I don't really have anything that is amber-forward. If I look at the stuff I own, I wouldn't think of any of these as amber fragrances, even if they list it. Alex 2, Nefs, Starlight, Tero, Astaral, Empiryan, Via Cavour I... none of these are really amber fragrances.
I made the mistake of asking for a sample of blonde Amber when I bought bought a different perfume. I kind of have a rule about how much I'm willing to spend on fragrances per ml, because above a certain amount you could get two bottles of something less expensive that is equally as good. But I had to break my rule for blonde Amber. I even only really tested it on paper but I got some overspray on my fingers and I've been enjoying it for 2 hours just off of that.
This is a brilliant idea that I instantly LOVE!!! Short answer is YES!! I will get myself organised and bring something to life very soon. Thanks for the recommendation @islamway3730
Haven't tested Musc Ravageur, but hey, it's a Frederic Malle fragrance, so we already know it's going to be good♥️ And yes to 40knots!! Glorious fragrance; awesome recommendation Lex💫
I’m really curious about this new Salas range. I picked up a bottle of a Salas fragrance in about 2018 from someone who travelled to the Middle East regularly (I have to assume they picked it up during their travels). It’s one of my favourite tobacco amber fragrances, but at the time they had no online presence at all and I was never able to find out anything about them! So many great ones in here, Ambre Sultan is one of the pinnacle ambers in my wardrobe.
Marcello, I love blonde Amber by Clive Christian on me. My husband was interested in Amberwood by Clive Christian. What are your thoughts on that fragrance?
Thank you! So good to hear that you enjoyed this line up! And yes, I too love this jacket. I'll have a look at the tag as I purchased this in Florence. Small local store on the Santo Spirito side (super cool boutique)....will get back to you on this @boyzee5436
Yes!! I need to create some further episodes with these guys. I have a number of their fragrance's and really love them! Wonderful to hear from you @goddess5608, thanks for reaching out💫
Need some help, I have purchased 3 Xerjoff fragrances during Notinos big sale but only going to keep 1, I paid about the same price for each one(£170) 1/ Symphonium. 2/Toni Iomi Monkey special. 3/ Alexandria II.. I currently own, Naxos,Nio,More than words,Ivory Route, 40 Knots,Ebra Pura and Renaissance.
My favourite amber perfume atm is Ambre cello L'orchestra parfums, beautiful, cozy mysterious perfect for winter. I have tested Ambre sultan but i didn't like it, too old fashioned and serious to my nose.
He has my back and helps me with my projects💫 I bought this in Mumbai years ago and up close the artist has done such an amazing an intricate work. I love this painting ♥️ Thanks for reaching out @souvik__dey, wonderful to connect
Hello Marcello, May I recommend O’Hira by Stephane Humbert Lucas. Notes of amber, leather, woods, styrax, cinnamon, tonka bean, vanilla, and musk. Sophisticated, special scent.
I love it Sharon!! I have a feeling that I need to create a Part II💫 There's been a lot of love for this fragrance note....deserves a round 2 Thanks for jumping into the conversation and for your recommendation!
100% YES! This is an awesome fragrance. I don't currently own this one but I know that I loved it when I did test when I was in Milano....in time, yes, this is one that I would love to include in the collection. Thanks for the recommendation @p_p206, thanks for jumping into the conversation
Saffron is the most expensive spice, and vanilla is second. Between the two saffron is more of an acquired taste in food. It smells so good. (So does vanilla.)
Not sure where you can get them from locally I actually got mine when I was in Milano. I know the brand is fairly new, so I think they are still working out their distribution. Although I think that a good friend of mine (wink, wink) here in Melbourne might be looking at bringing them into his store😉 Thanks for reaching out! Awesome to hear from you
Have to add an update to this too: tried CC Blonde Amber as I’m a huge Naxos and Iommi fan (again, thanks to you for introducing me)…I’m in love with it! Straight to the top of the wish-list, when the bank account will allow it!
Hmmm, nice video and selection. However, I am not sure why but I struggle to appreciate Grand Soir... something about it gives me a headache and makes me nauseous.
Interesting that Grand Soir knocks you around @larryasiedu7704 and great point from you @DrTorquemada (thanks for sharing that Ed) As a possible alternative, I would test out Ambre Premiere by Jovoy. I find that it's a very close cousin to Grand Soir when it comes to it's Amber dry down; just has a unique opening with the sugary citrus (plus there's also some spice's on that top note too)....plus the pricing is significantly better😉 Good luck with that Larry💫
There is a amber / rose fragrance that I feel could fit into this video: Atomic Rose from Initio. Blessed Baraka from Initio or Ambre Supreme from Les Indemodables could perfectly be part of your video. Would you agree?
I always joke that Australia is so far away from the rest of the world that things still come to us in Tall Ships😩 The first time that I've heard of maitre parfumeur et Gantier...is right now in your comment😑 I create a list of perfumes that I want to try out when I travel to the US or Europe and it's clear that I need to add these guys to the list. Thanks for the recommendation @sadaeqalandar9073, appreciate you reaching out💫
I really love how you really break down the fragrance you're talking about.
Great to hear from you Clarence; thank you for your encouragement and uplifting remarks🙏🏽 ⚡️
I love that these episodes resonate with others, it's fun sharing my love for these beautiful creations.
Please report back; would love to see what the general consensus is on this one🤔
Thanks for reaching out Fred, great to hear from you my brother💫
Marcelo, another brilliant series! Ambers are one of my favorite fragrance notes. Really I’m super proud to always recommend your channel to my friends whom are wanting to learn abit more about niche, cause there’s always something different, informative and super useful and educational on your channel! Super proud to be a member and be part of your community 🥹❤️✨
You're one of the OG's Vera😎 and hope you didn't mind the little shout out! I still remember that Grand Soir was your fragrance of choice that you shared with all of us on the inaugural Live International Mate Talk last year
Thanks for your constant support👊🏽 very much appreciated Vera♥️
What an incredible comment to read💫 As the Italians would say "Grazie Mille" @PwnageEngage
So grateful for the encouraging remarks and appreciative that this style of conversation is working for so many. It's a joy connecting with everyone on the 'art of perfumery'
Appreciate the support👊🏽
For me, Ambre Sultan is the best amber perfume ever made. Benzoin on its own is ambery, specifically Siam benzoin.
I was just coming to the comments to say this - I love that fragrance and it layers well with so much.

Thank you George💫 Loved reading your comment and yes, I would strongly recommend Ambre Sultan♥️glorious fragrance....and maybe we could experience this alongside each other in the Serge Lutens Palais Royal boutique in Paris next year 😉
Great to hear from you mate, hoping all is well in your part of the world!👊🏽
I like amber fragrances and i liked the sound of that clive christian, some nice fragrances here, nice reviews
Great to hear from you Adz...absolutely, I know you'd love Blonde Amber!
Just quietly, you would rock Ambre Sultan😎 I know you love all things Orto Parisi and I find that the spice's and deep resinous tones of this fragrance would suit a 5 Star General like you my friend🎖️
Thanks for jumping into the conversation homie
Listen man this is hands-down the best fragrance review channel on TH-cam. There’s so many factors that go into that as well. From the passion to the actual description editing and visual stimulation. Staying away from the traditional hype, beast, trying to promote certain brand type of nonsense that we see these days. These are almost therapeutic. Happy to see this finally getting traction. Hands-down, the best reviewer in my opinion
All I can say is "thank you"🙏🏽♥️
Really appreciate the support and so happy that you're enjoying this style.
Good stuff man
@stasbryant1879 you’re right in saying that the team deserves credit Sta💫👊🏽 I’m so grateful for their great work and the support that they provide… the girls are awesome⚡️
Thank you again for reaching out my brother🙏🏽
Love this video. Watched it several times. Informative, and really like your way of educating us!
Thank you Thomas👊🏽 So happy you enjoyed this episode; I do love bringing these to life...it's fun sharing with everyone💫
Just found your channel today when researching Starlight (which I just blind bought). Can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate your descriptions, setup, video quality, and most of all, perfume reviews!!! Subscribed!

Hi Marcello, fantastic review! Ambre Sultan is my favourite fragrance from the line up, extremely classy. Cheers!
Awesome recommendation Ali💫 A glorious deep, resinous, spicy amber....pure joy♥️
Hoping you're well my brother👊🏽
For me Starlight is just special. It’s calm, long lasting. It’s like … Rolls-Royce
Nice video
Yep, totally agree Johan....I like your comparison to a Rolls-Royce 😎
Great to hear from you mate👊🏽
Beautiful breakdown of these fragrances. I really love the visual touch showing the ingredients. It helps me smell it or imagine the smell haha. Excited for Blonde Amber to arrive 🔥
Hey Marcelo, I talked to the owner of Berlin's niche fragrance store "Parfümsalon" today and told him about you and your channel... When you come to Berlin one day, he will gladly welcome you and friends!
Boom Baby!! This can only mean one thing.....I need to get on over!!😎✈️
Promise that I will be in Berlin in the near future. No date but I'm a big believer in 'putting it out to the universe' and then sit back and 'let it flow' (mind you with a lot of hard work, but never pretend to be in control; I'll leave that to higher powers)
I appreciate you already planting the seed with "Parfümsalon" this will make it easier the day that I reach out and ask if we can use the place as a meet up😉
Thanks again @darth_hansel4466 (if you're ok with this, would love to know your name?)
I just looove this series. I would like to see more of this 😊
Yep, absolutely! There's something already in the works for next week😬
Pure class Marcelo. I’ve adored Clive Christians’ Amber wood, but the dry down has a strong oud and doesn’t sit well with my skin, I will try the Blonde Amber and see how that one goes.. Great vid as always 🙋🏻♀️
Always great to hear from you Stani and yes, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on Blonde Amber....if Sandra, Grace my editor (and practically everyone else that I've shown this fragrance too) is anything to go by; I think this might be a winner 💫♥️
Thanks for jumping into the conversation Stani, always love reading your comments👊🏽
Immortelle by Manos Gerakinis also belongs in the "divine" category, imho! Great one, Marcelo--- love all your alternative recommendations!
As always Athanasios, thank you for reaching out and connecting👊🏽
I 100% support your recommendation to place Immortelle in the 'divine' category😇 In truth I place a lot of Mano's fragrance's in this category....he owns a number of really exceptional fragrances
Great to hear from you my friend💫
Gives you an idea on how much of a bigger hitter it is in my family♥️
Thanks for reaching out mate; great to hear from you
I do love a good Amber. I've only tried four of those and I only own Starlight but I'll probably buy Amber Premier next year because I want a couple of other Jovoy ones first. Great video as always!
Great choice with Starlight Lee...brilliant fragrance😇 And yes, a big recommendation on Ambre Premier this perfume is exceptional (plus the value for money is off the hook!)....once you get the chance to test I'd be curious to know your thoughts
Great to hear from you mate👊🏽
I love Masque Milano Tango. Amazing amber frag ;)
This one that I need to explore; haven't tested this one as yet. Awesome recommendation Szymon; thanks for jumping into the conversation👊🏽

Thank you, Anna! So happy that you enjoyed this episode ; I do enjoy creating these episodes and sharing on the art of perfumery, but also the love of these amazing fragrances
Always good to hear from you
Just purchased blonde amber because of you, i ordered a sample and was blown away.. this pushed me over the edge hahahah. Thanks for all your great videos
How incredible is this fragrance! And yes, it does come with a hefty price tag but the good news is that it has awesome power and projection plus I find that for me I don’t need more than three sprays🥰💫
Wonderful to connect with you Ismael, thank you for reaching out👊🏽

Boom Baby!!!⚡️♥️ How's that for a solid recommendation😎 Thanks for sharing Ben....appreciate you jumping into the conversation
Blonde amber is my number #1 wish list. Would you share where did you get it from? Thank you
@kevintio3067 I’m based in Australia… So my retailer to go for is Libertine Parfumerie💫♥️ they carry a massive range of niche fragrances from around the world

Thank you Malik for reaching out; very much appreciate your support💫
And yes! How incredible is Blonde Amber!!!♥️ I love this experience that you had...I have to agree with you!

Very well done sir.
Very well respected. Superb choices.
I have several of these. But I keep it simple and clean…
1. Amber Wood and Blonde Amber - CC
2. Grand Soir-MFK
Marcello, you are the most expressive amoung fragrance TH-camrs!
Sure is, all business no silliness. ; )
A massive THANK YOU! Really appreciate the support Marcel (cool name by the way😉) Very appreciative that you enjoyed this episode and the content overall♥️👊🏽 Grazie Mille💫
Thanks @megasoid👊🏽 All 'silliness' is reserved for Mate Talk as my brain tries to catch up with what's happening in the moment😑
(totally understanding that Amber isn't your thing)
I believe you've tried out Crystal Saffron by Matiere Premiere? This one is glorious for that Saffron note♥️
Thanks for jumping into the conversation Sem💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Hey sorry for the late reaction on this one, I didn't really like Ambre Premiere but I enjoyed that it smelled different than what I'm used to. Amber is not really my thing, Grand Soir is also good but just not for me.
Crystal Saffron is glorious and I hope to get it one day, but first BDK Villa Neroli and Meo's Sogni
What a gift it is this video i dont know if you remember marcelo but i was so curious to know you talk about Blonde amber im so happy to finally have a video of you talking about it(I mean if you one day do a in depth review i dont complain ahahahahahah ), i never smelled Blonde Amber but one day i really hope to smell and save to have it :D
i have some samples from BDK parfums and the 4 samples are (Gris Charnel Extrait it was my curiosity and then, amber safrano( i loved it to me is a leather jacket drawn in some booze ), Crème de Cuir that you talked and i really loved , and Tabac Rose (this one inicially was smelling a little bit granny like the way the rose was to me but now ? my godness i love it ahahahaha 3 of them where based on your opinion and has you can see i loved them all
Starlight from Xerjoff i have a sample too because of you too Marcelo... and man I know for a fact that fragrance gets along with me so well like you say its magic aahahahahahaha
My mom LOVES Grand Soir on me says she always says "that fragrance just smells really like you"

I loved reading your comments here Rodrigo! And I love that you've made Grand Soir as your own (mothers never lie; if this fragrance is you; then it's you for life....trust me on this)
Makes me happy to hear that you've fully explored those 4 BDK's; in my opinion all 4 are "Pure Magic"...with the black horse being Creme de Cuir....you'll discover that this one is really incredible and so complex! (BTW I laughed as I read your comments on Tabac Rose....this fragrance has some vodoo in it😎💫)

Always a treat to hear from Mr Bond😎 and I'm glad that you enjoyed this line up (there were so many more but I don't want to create a 2 hour production😑)
I'm familiar with Le Lion and yes awesome fragrance. You're now the second person recommending Ambra Aurea so clearly I need to up my game and get on this!
Thanks again for reaching out @JamesBond-qt7th awesome to hear from you

I love that I'm a 'big beautiful organic onion'🧅 😋
(not just a regular onion...but an organic one😎)
Thank you my Diego💫 Love you my brother♥️
When you smell into it, the grand soir has an earthy, soil like tone in the base. To me, in the top and mid it’s also somewhat boozy in a way it’s not alcoholic or woody, more like cognac. It’s also creamy and tobacco-ey
Love your description Seuni....and yes, I can detect that very thing. It does have a slight booziness to it...I really think that vanilla and amber accord that Francis has created is divine💫
Thanks for reaching out and sharing @ile_klikow, awesome to hear from you
What an amazing video of amber fragrances I'm so intrigued by a few of these especially BDK and Salas
Thank you Christos! Appreciate you reaching out and yes, big recommendation for both Ambre Safrano and Crep Scil....I think you'll love Ambre Sultan too♥️
Nice background, looks like a lot of effort went there to make it. Appreciated
Awesome choice on both Jaime💫 If you love Cardamon then you need to check out Ambre Sultan...this will be heaven for you I think
Great to hear from you mate👊🏽
Thank you so much, Marcello. Really lovely and detailed description of the fragrances. (Add to growing list of "to get fragrances") When you mentioned the spices in the notes, I thought (for some reason) of fennel. When I cook, I use spices on a regular basis. And I find the sweet smell of fennel seeds amazing. Would you know of fragrances that carry that nuance and aroma of fennel seeds? And if so, could you do a video on this subject?
Take care.
Firstly, a massive THANK YOU for your support @hmagix9554, always good to hear from you.

@TheNicheFragranceCollector Thank you kindly. I checked out the mentioned link. And it's fab! And found here in the UK a niche perfume brand that I had been hoping it would fly over from down under, and that's Anka Kus 😄.
Will order discovery set first.
@hmagix9554 Boom Baby!!💫 you are going to love absenthe minded😍…. It’s a masterpiece.
As you could tell from the b-roll shot that had so much missing from the bottle (which incidentally was giving me major OCD😵💫😂...but I had no choice but to use the shot!)
So yes, we're all 'true believers' on this fragrance♥️
Great to hear from you @chlvrs, thanks for reaching out

Thank you
Awesome to hear from you @haromatik and have to say that I personally haven't tested Ambre Nuit by Dior, so don't know for certain what this would be like.

I haven't tested Amber Absolute but yes to Au Coeur du Désert....this one is glorious♥️
The Ambre Sultan bottle is the in store Limited Edition that I picked up at the Serge Lutens boutique on the recent France Tour and I have this awesome photo of it, taken by someone on on that tour😉
Hoping you're well mate, thanks for jumping into the conversation👊🏽
Marcelo, awesome! Amazing job!
I got three from this list. Blonde Amber on my “must buy”
What you think about Amber Oud?
Great to hear from you Vasyl and 100M% YES to Amber Aoud🥰 One day I hope to own this one (really gotta save up those dollars!) I had a sample of this and it was my prized possession....glorious, heavenly scent♥️
Have you had a chance to test this as yet Vasyl?
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector yes, I did test it already several times. This perfume is so luxury and you can’t wear it every day. You have to wear it in some special moments …
I would say three notes very dominant in this well blended composition.
Rose + Oud + Amber awesome combo.
There is so many notes perfectly balanced each other (Saffran, Fig, Ambergris, Birch …) and you can feel quality of this natural ingredients.
Good longevity, sillage is moderate.
Very special and spectacular perfume
I love the break up Vasyl… it’s clear that I need to include this in my collection♥️
An excellent production Marcelo, please keep doing these. I appreciate they take a lot more prep time but they are also unique when you talk about the companies and components. Love your French accent 🙂, a few more trips to F and you will be a native speaker. 🙏🙏🙏
I promise that I'm trying my hardest with the French accent😂 I want it to sound natural and not contrived....which I'm guessing I don't always achieve 🤔 but surely I get some points for trying😬
Great to hear from you Ilias👊🏽
Wow what a lineup is right. I have Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan and yes it's bold and it has been a journey, as I believe these perfumes are meant to be. I find the oregano note a bit too much, too in my face for my liking, ( could you fade now, please? lol) but I appreciate this journey, I really do.
First time watching your channel and what can i say, I awesome the way you did it, is incredible, thank you so much
Allo Marcello, appy Xmas an New Year to you an all lookin in.
Thanks for bein one of the best an most expressive of our educational experts on these fragrances.

You’re too kind Paul🙏🏽 thank you for jumping in to the conversation and sharing… Always great to read your comments, my friend
Your communication power is phenomenal.
What an awesome comment to read Waleed! Thank you brother👊🏽
Me encantan tus vídeos Marcelo
Gracia Mauri♥🙏🏽
Unreal review, well done. But you have to put another one on the list and that is Rosendo Mateu 5.
Btw on me, grand soir last way longer than ambre saffrano
Awesome to hear from you Filip💫 and I do love how our body chemistry plays a major role in these beautiful fragrances
And totally agree that Rosendo 5 belongs in this category!
This really captures the joy we all experience with a story well told
Thank you for your support @lashondaallen5530 💫 very appreciative and thanks again for reaching out👊🏽
Evening Marcelo my friend.
Boom Baby⚡️
I'll be curious to know your thoughts on the 'Blonde Amber Challenge'...please report in; going to do a tally on this🤩
Great to hear from you mate👊🏽 hoping you're well
Un Saludo cálido desde Puerto Rico!
Me encanta su contenido.
Sus descripciónes me ayudan visualisar las esencias de las fragrancias que presentas!
Xerjoff Starlight me llama...
Gracias Ignacio, me alegra mucho que hayas disfrutado esta reseña y gracias por tu apoyo.
¡Y si! Starlight es gloriosa!! Te va a encantar♥️💫
@ignaciorey6817
Is it a little bit to spiced or dense in your opinion?
profumum roma ambra aurea and roja dove pdln 1 are my favorite
I haven't had the chance to test out Ambra but will make it a point to check this out when I go next to Oligarch (my local niche boutique here in Melbourne💫)
Great to hear from you @maisali3152
Hey Marcelo. I must say your words are poetic when it comes to perfumery. Absolutely brilliant with your descriptions. I recently purchased X masculine by Clive christian, but after watching this I'm starting to wish I had bought blonde amber instead. What do you think about both scents? Do you recommend I should get blonde amber as well? Or is x masculine enough?
Thank you Danny, what an awesome comment to read!💫 So glad that you enjoyed this episode.
The problem is you're asking the wrong person about buying another fragrance😉...my short answer is always going to be 'yes' 😎
But in all seriousness; there is a massive difference between X Masculine and Blonde Amber. I consider X as one of my all time favourite winter fragrance. It's incredible and to make matters more complicated for you, check out this episode: th-cam.com/video/aeqDgEtm4Cg/w-d-xo.html
Blonde Amber is an all year round classic that is glorious.
Have a look at this episode where I blind smell this and have a look at the response 🥰th-cam.com/video/pwbKK2yyIDo/w-d-xo.html
Now in my own defence....you're asking the question; I'm only answering them😇😉
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector That's it then. E gourmande it is. Thanks a lot sir!
@@dannykable1651 😍
As always, love reading your comments @DivineFrag (as my brain plays the scene with J.Jonas reviewing Peter's photo's 😂)
I love that you've taken up the 'Blonde Amber' challenge, but I'm putting money down on how this is going to end 😑
Any recommendations of Ambers that you're enjoying? Would either love to test or see if I have in my collection....great to hear from you mate👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I don't really have anything that is amber-forward. If I look at the stuff I own, I wouldn't think of any of these as amber fragrances, even if they list it. Alex 2, Nefs, Starlight, Tero, Astaral, Empiryan, Via Cavour I... none of these are really amber fragrances.
@DivineFrag awesome lineup though😎💫
Lol Grand Soir isn’t Amber for babies.
AWESOME REVIEW 👌 👏 👍
Thank you again! So happy you enjoyed this episode @RonnieRowe-il7eq, very much appreciate you reaching out💫
I made the mistake of asking for a sample of blonde Amber when I bought bought a different perfume.
Make a video on Ambergris 👌🏼
This is a brilliant idea that I instantly LOVE!!! Short answer is YES!! I will get myself organised and bring something to life very soon. Thanks for the recommendation @islamway3730
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector awesome can’t wait for the the vid, no problem love these sort of vids
You should take a look to Ambre précieux from Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier.
It’s one of the first in this genre!
I expected Masque Milano Tango to be on this list, Marcelo. Great choices though, man.😊
Yes, Tango is another amazing fragrance that can easily be on this list! Thank you for putting it forward Ali👊🏽💫
Musc Ravageur from Frederic Malle and Xerjoff 40 knots for me
Haven't tested Musc Ravageur, but hey, it's a Frederic Malle fragrance, so we already know it's going to be good♥️
And yes to 40knots!! Glorious fragrance; awesome recommendation Lex💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollectorMusc Ravageur is a masterpiece amber fragrance however the reformulation made the performance a bit lacking.
Vanilla fragrance u mean
Literally bought them (petit Matin and grand soir) together because they came out together but never thought to layer them...
Grand Soir is on another level
Love your Superocean
Ah yes....me too 🥰 I love it when other 'watch guys' pick up on these things😬
Great to hear from you @mr.papalaka374
It sucks because all the people around me don’t like starlight, but it is a 10 out of 10 for me! I love starlight
"Friends with a lion." That is a beautiful thought. 👌🏿
Loved the video! I am very interested in your jacket as well, do you mind sharing where you bought it?
Thank you! So good to hear that you enjoyed this line up! And yes, I too love this jacket. I'll have a look at the tag as I purchased this in Florence. Small local store on the Santo Spirito side (super cool boutique)....will get back to you on this @boyzee5436
Blonde Amber.....ladies love it😎
Boom Baby!💫♥️
Have you smelled Ambre des abysses from Houbigant? I bought it this week in a small perfumerie in Hamburg and it blew my mind
Talk about serge lutens more I planning to collect some of them
Yes!! I need to create some further episodes with these guys. I have a number of their fragrance's and really love them!
Wonderful to hear from you @goddess5608, thanks for reaching out💫
I have many Ambers in my collection. My favorite hands down is Tauer L'air du Desert Morocain. Have you tried it?
I love the background with Ganesh ji. Jai Shree Ganesh.
He has my back and helps me with my projects💫 I bought this in Mumbai years ago and up close the artist has done such an amazing an intricate work. I love this painting ♥️
Thanks for reaching out @souvik__dey, wonderful to connect
I haven't smelled MFK Petit Matin, but your descriptionof it sounds a lot like Acqua di Parma Mirto di Panarea by François Demachy.
Hello Marcello, May I recommend O’Hira by Stephane Humbert Lucas. Notes of amber, leather, woods, styrax, cinnamon, tonka bean, vanilla, and musk. Sophisticated, special scent.
I love it Sharon!! I have a feeling that I need to create a Part II💫 There's been a lot of love for this fragrance note....deserves a round 2
Thanks for jumping into the conversation and for your recommendation!
Deep Amber Ramon Bejar , Babylon Elxier oud Attar , Dark Elexier Attar

Saffron is the most expensive spice, and vanilla is second. Between the two saffron is more of an acquired taste in food. It smells so good. (So does vanilla.)
Love it too Thomas...it brings such a beautiful touch in food♥️
Great to hear from you mate👊🏽
Hi Marcelo, from Perth. Where can we get our hands on samples of the Salas fragrances in Australia? Looks beautiful!
Not sure where you can get them from locally I actually got mine when I was in Milano. I know the brand is fairly new, so I think they are still working out their distribution.
Although I think that a good friend of mine (wink, wink) here in Melbourne might be looking at bringing them into his store😉
Thanks for reaching out!
There's quite a lot of iso-e super. Could be that if you're sensitive.
Interesting that Grand Soir knocks you around @larryasiedu7704 and great point from you
@DrTorquemada (thanks for sharing that Ed)
As a possible alternative, I would test out Ambre Premiere by Jovoy. I find that it's a very close cousin to Grand Soir when it comes to it's Amber dry down; just has a unique opening with the sugary citrus (plus there's also some spice's on that top note too)....plus the pricing is significantly better😉
Good luck with that Larry💫
@TheNicheFragranceCollector thank you

There is a amber / rose fragrance that I feel could fit into this video: Atomic Rose from Initio.
Blessed Baraka from Initio or Ambre Supreme from Les Indemodables could perfectly be part of your video. Would you agree?
What about ambre-mythique or ambre precuix from the house maitre parfumeur et Gantier ??? You just don't like those or don't know them ?
I always joke that Australia is so far away from the rest of the world that things still come to us in Tall Ships😩
