Not the place to say this, but I really liked the narrator and how his speech led to the game's title. The song is great and all but this is a trailer not the ost, I like a bit of theatrics in my trailers.
Reignand Bongao I think it not that people hate the narrator, but more of seeing the visuals with the ost. But I agree, the I thought it was done quite well.

It's real! I've been playing Tetris since 1988 (NES, Elorg/Tengen/Nintendo), maybe a few arcade games in 1986/etc... Gaming Effect is real, but it's an easily treatable disorder.
Just the "Remove vocals" feature in Audacity, a free audio editor. It takes advantage of the fact that vocals are usually on the center channel and removes audio that isn't different for the left & right speakers. This why some of the percussion at the beginning is also affected and partially eliminated. I manually restored the missing beats prior to the vocal part just by copying them from another part of the song when they weren't talking over it.
Nice edit, but the problem is sound is slighly dissorted, sound is comming from left speaker goes to the right (highs and mids transitioning to right speaker). Not sure if i made sense but Nvm the edit is well made.
Yeah, I agree and I'm aware of the beginning being pretty bad. I was using speakers so it's not as annoying, but I wish someone else with lots of time on their hands would do a proper version. For now, I'm satisfied with it until there's a proper soundtrack release when the game comes out.

For the vocal bit at the end that the narrator talks over, same thing. I used the "isolate vocals" filter on part of the song where she sings the same phrase, then mixed it back over the part where I removed vocals to get rid of the narrator. The only part I'd want to improve on is the percussion near the beginning, but I didn't really want to be copy/pasting so much stuff.
