I think that they probably could have written a better exit storyline than this ! Getting a phone call from someone that he hadn't heard from for a long time, that he had never mentioned once, offering him a job in Australia but only if he starts next week is a bit 'far-fetched' to say the least ! Packing up and moving to Australia i.e. the other side of the world within a week, and especially given the strict Australian visa requirements, doesn't seem particularly feasible. I know it's silly to expect soaps to be realistic at all as if they were hardly anyone would watch them, but still this is pushing it a bit !
I mean his Character has always just been there, even now it's his dad does something bad and he defends him, is proven his dad is a lair doesn't want anything to do with him rinse and repeat it gets boring his only real storyline was possibly Priya and that just ended
Yes that bit with his dad gets boring as we know Ellis is 10x the man that his dad will be and ur right about another thing the storyline with Priya is where I was starting to like Ellis a lot more after the one night stand early last year and then they revisited their feelings for each other towards the survival challenge and then disaster happened for Priya. When I first heard about the actor quitting I was devastated. I really thought Ellis would keep his promise to Priya and finally end up together but due to what happened bts they must’ve changed the script and led him back to Belle. 😞
