As a nurse I once cared for a baby with very minimal brain. Ha advanced more than anyone thought but never to a near normal level

This is not the first case, some years, possibly a few decades, a boy was found in the UK with virtually no brain due to hydrocephali’s, but he was physically and mentally normal, and went on to get an an honours degree, I think at Oxford. Specialists thought that a lot of his brain function had been forced down into his spinal column.

I remember there was a baby girl whom the doctors told the parents that she didn’t have a brain. They recommended the mother abort the baby. The doctors drained the fluid from the head and her brain which was compressed into the skull base was able to expand and fill the skull. The little girl still had some issues but was able to function .

My son was born with hydrocephalus they did not put a shunt in as at birth it was compressed off! He has a near genus IQ
Winston Churchill and JFK also had this but with no difficulties ! And had large IQ’s
