This drama was wrong You never humiliate anyone especially if you love them. That was a test and he failed. She should have moved on and said bye, bye! You can forgive but you cannot forget. A man protects a woman and in any case...you are innocent until proven guilty. He couldn't postpone the wedding event instead of humiliate her.
Let everyone take note. If your significant other never gives a true apology (none of that fake "I'm sorry you feel that way... b.s.) then that person still needs to grow up and mature and you should find a partner that will be an adult. This dude ain't it. He's a walking red flag factory.

To the directors and story writers, we don't always want to see the FL and ML end up together. If such person was there in reality would any self respect person go back to him whatever the reason. You want drama then have some creativity, don't degrade the FL characters and think it's okay.
i realize that people are just trying to be polite, but i would be taking a page out of the telenovela handbook and going off on that person. Something along the lines of "you are a jerk. I don't want to be married to a jerk. I can work with you, but i am not dating you. I don't want to talk to you other than work and i am going to have to find another place to work if you keep trying to talk to me about personal stuff. " and i would probably have a few 4 letter words in that little conversation.
This kind of relationship in real life will not last long.. too many misunderstandings.. the guy is the type who will believe others rather than his lover.. he will not believe any explanation..he was arrogant and prideful and selfish…
I seen enough clips of this drama to know I won’t be able to watch this drama at all: won’t be able to see a jerk having a happy end with the female who heart and self respect he shred into pieces and for her to accept him 🙄… oh no I will not

Hello to the Chinese drama creators, if you are seeing this, I have an advice. Most of us viewers don’t want a female lead that’s pathetic and so in love with the entitled male lead that they lose their self respect. If you guys want to pursue this kind of story, which we don’t mind at all, make sure you at least don’t make the female lead depressed and sad and crying in every second scene. She should get back at him for the humiliation she suffered. Not be bothered by him, and possibly exploring another love angle. That said, ending up with the ex is subjective, or keep an open ending in this case. Jeez.
