Pretty great. One nitpick, and one lol thing. The nitpick is that Khepri should have a portal next too her to start, connecting her to doormaker and clairvoyant, before the other doors. The lol is that anyone watching this without knowing Worm might think this is an "avengers, assemble" moment.
Pretty sure the two people on hands and knees next to her are supposed to be doormaker and clairvoyant (best visible at 1:14 (Edit) except she steps away from them to scream. So yeah kinda weird but still an amazing animation.
While I've always enjoyed the early parts of Worm more than the latter, the idea of a cinematic of Gold Morning thrills me more than any number of Marvel movies.
Chills. CHILLS. Taylor/Khepri's scream between all the sweeping portal shots was what really hit home for me. Captured the raw, human tragedy driving this epic standoff.
It's kind of like the portal scene in Avengers Endgame but way more tragic. Khepri giving up everything she had to fell a god, with only the few truly appreciating what she had accomplished in the end.
I absolutely adore this so very very much! For some reason the moment of Black Kaze hitting the ground ready to pounce really struck home to me. Willingly or not, every Parahuman has been conscripted for war. Love it
We seriously need an adaptation of Worm, even if it was just the first few arcs, it would be so much better than the crap thats being released from hollywood nowadays
And it’s already decently well-paced for a streaming series Wait for the MCU to implode, and start building hype for a completely independent story And it’s not like Worm is some unknown, it’s literally one of if not the, most popular English web serial
I know I shouldn't be surprised that the bug girl is opening portals that look like Honeycombs, since that's how they were described in the book, but I am and I love them

I just finished reading the worm arcs for the third time, just have the epilogue left. I always forget how epic that last GM battle is. Every year, it's harder for me to picture those kinds of complicated scenes, but i will still read it annually. And every year, I'll come back to this video (and your others) to help me get a better grasp, to help me imagine it more. Truly, thanks for doing this.
Holy fuck this gave me chills. Literally this is amazing. The cinematography is fantastic and I fully didn't expect the quality of animation and visuals. Mucho cred to you for this fucking masterpiece.

Great animation job! Good work matching the visuals to the song, too. The GM razing is good use of the intro music. I expected a shot of a crowd of capes to be revealed lined up with Khepri for the start of the hook, based on how the camera was panning, but having people step through the portals is cool, too. Starting a little sooner with that would have been good, IMO; I think she was by herself a couple seconds too long given the lyrics are plural. I would have liked if a few more of the portals had some kind of landscape on the other side instead of blank navy blue, but I can imagine that being a lot harder for the moving shots where most of them are. I like the yell as she gets worse. Doormaker is missing at the end of her walk. I was just getting into the video and getting excited for where it would go with the drop, and then it ended. 🤣 I get why it had to, though, and it's good the way it is. The last shot is a cool way to end it.
