I'm so glad we're all here to find out what that sound was in the backyard.
I wonder how many of us regret finding out what that noise in the backyard was?
🤔
Yup but it's not on here lol
The sound your looking for is the mourning dove. At least that’s the one I was looking for
I'm looking for something that sounds like a cow mooing over and over.
Bobcat sounds like a drunk middle aged man with sleep apnea
I thought the same thing... or maybe a drunk man trying to sound like Bigfoot
💀💀
I know right 😂😂🤣
Typical naps 😂😂😂
Typical naps IKR
Yo I’d be crying if I heard a bobcat in the middle of the night without knowing what a bobcat sounds like.
bobcat would still hunt you and eat you, just because you know it's a bobcat doesn't mean you are safe 😂

@@-zekozakarneh489 Bobcats are probably the easiest animal to defend against, all you need is a baseball bat and good eyesight
If you think that's bad, you should hear them scream. I've heard stories of people calling the cops in the middle of the night because they thought a woman was being murdered out in the woods. Turned out to be bobcats. th-cam.com/video/aZ10vuH5lnY/w-d-xo.html
🙀 🙀 🙀 😱 😱 😱
WHY IS A PORCUPINE THE CUTEST DAMN SOUND I'VE EVER HEARD OMFG
Me too!! Super cute noise
Where is the porcupine?
th-cam.com/video/77Gzbbk0cvw/w-d-xo.htmlm26s
It kind of reminds me of Gigglypuff somehow
It is cute but if you've never heard a baby raccoon purr, it's pretty stinkin' adorable
i love how they all sound like they should but then the elk is just * SCREAMS *
RavenWolf Productions it's actually their mating call, so when they want to mate they scream.
So did a ton of girls I went to high school with 🤣🤣
alberta mountainmum ALBERTA
Kourosh Behbehani “HEY LADIES I WANNA GET LAID”
Also, they make that beaugel to challenge other bulls for the cows too
marisa welcome to Alberta, where we have a bunch of oil jacks!
Damn bobcats be scary
Raccoons and porcupines just sound like video game characters I swear.
)) that's for sure
Yeah 😂
haha yes porcupine sounds like a video game character
The bobcat sound was scary a f.
Ummm bobcats aren’t scary they just sound motley
came here at 2am to find out what’s in my backyard woods but now i’m just traumatised
@Lilliana Paltan-Gaines *either way is fine
I imitate animal sounds on my channel
@Lilly Paltan-Gaines traumatised is the British spelling.
😂😂😂😂
Same!!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Am I the only one who thinks that all of the “noises” were just this guy imitating the animals?
The Elk, bobcat, cougar, coyote and foxes were all real, some of them I'm definitely not sure about. Sounded like the guy 100%

all animal sounds are true!
If you hunted you would know these are real
American bullfrog sounds like a lightsaber fight😭😭😭✌️
😸😸👍👍💪💪
Or an old Appalachian grandpa making music with an empty jug.
😹😹👍
XD
I shouldn't be laughing it's 2 am!!! 🤣🤣🤣
OH MY GOD THAT NOISE IS SQUIRRELS??? I NEVER KNEW THEIR SOUND I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT WAS A BIRD
😺😺🐿👍
Ikr - I still think it’s a bird every time lol
first time i ever caught a squirrel making that noise, my life was altered
I’m sorry. Squirrels in the Bronx do NOT sound like that.
@@laurenb6451 you just gotta catch them doing it
*canada goose noise*
Me living near the lake: yep sounds like home

Same lol
yea same
True
If I ever heard a bobcat in the woods, I'd move out of that area quickly.
👍👍👍
Not as dangerous as cougars
Kourosh Behbehani i think they mean so that they don’t have to listen to that.
Nah it’s ok you get used to them
I had one under my front porch growling at us when we came home from getting groceries
I came here to find out what the hell was in my backyard but now I know my animal noises once again
And what kind of animal was it?

There’s a thing in a desk and I’m trying to find the sound
@@vaandervik dude i dont ever rember commenting this and i think someone is on my account
Same here and I still don't know what it is. At least I can rule out Bison though.
I still don’t know wtf that noise in the backyard was lmao but I learned about every other animals sound tonight.
Great to know i have a family of aggressive skunks in my backyard right now
🙀🙀🙀🙈🙈🙈
Well that sucks
Nah nah well that stinks lol

Mine does! 🤣
The American Bullfrog just sounds like my tuba player lmao.
🐸👍
It sounded like lightsabers to me
Fox is definitely real. I used to hear them behind my house all the time in the middle of the night. It was terrifying, even after finding out what it was.
I've heard fox passing behind my house at the base of the cliff, sounds like a demon from hell!
Try to live on a village near the forest. Foxes are daily hosts here
That sounded like a crying baby that turned into a small dog.
So I had never heard a fox before in real life, I've only seen them, never heard them so when I heard that "scream" I was like... what in the... and had to look up the noise
ok imagine you're me in 7th grade:
you're wating at the bus stop near your house, you're in the middle of the woods standing across an empty field, your house is down a 1/4 mile dirt drive way and the nearest neighbors are about a 1/2 mile away. it's early dawn in the fall. you're standing, anxiously waiting the bus to take you to civilization and in the distance you hear: 4:25 and not knowing what it is or if it is dangerous, the previous week, your nearest neighbor spotted a mountian lion on their backyard security cameras. now imagine being 13 and clueless THAT WAS ME
Oof
Damn that had to be scary lol
It's so odd that red foxes sound like both a baby in distress and a woman in distress at different points in their call. I wonder how many people followed a fox thinking they would be helping someone in need?
In native American culture (correct me if I'm wrong) the Native Americans used to think of foxes as a sort of trickster God. Once again not 100 percent sure so you should probably look it up.
Now she in distress
I live in Ontario and I can say 100% that the foxes AND coyotes we have here and up north are ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING. Especially when you have 30-40 of the coyotes all replying back to one another and it makes you regret a late evening hike.
Sometimes can't tell if the sound I hear at night is a fox, coyote or someone crying for help and that's especially alarming.
Yes, understand 🙀🙀😾
my Dad heard a fox around our backyard a few years ago and that's exactly what he thought.
O my the Porcupine sounds so adorable
😻👍
Just gorgeous! ❤️
By the way, why no Opossums? My late sister's favourite animal.
The Real Romanator007
It sounds like a cute children’s cartoon animal.
Ikr
Sounds like its argueing with itself 😂 had my kids cracking up.
Cardinals are such beautiful birds and the same goes for their voices
😀👍
Why does the bobcat sound like my dad when he falls asleep watching tv
Ahahah
that bobcat tho had me shook
Bobcats are harmless.

Didn't hear not 1 musical note come from that chipmunk. Also, the wolverine never said "bub"

Brilliant lol
Lmao
I just heard something like an evil witch cackling on my back fence line, trying to figure it out. The dog didn't like it either.
This is exactly the kind of video I've needed on several occasions, there should be a lot more like this, thank you!
...On second thought there just might be an evil witch masquerading as a sweet old grandma next door, you never really know.

I play this on repeat to help me fall asleep at night.

I don't know about y'all but I'm now waiting for the porcupine to drop his first album. How cute is it?! 💕🦔
Oh my goodness! The porcupine sounds so cute!!! The bobcat sounds terrifying and the eagle sounds so cool. Wow
😀👍
I hear foxes doing their “horny scream” at night, and coyotes singing their dinner song. Enchanting.
Are these actual animals being recorded, or is it Frank Welker?
))) The voices of animals are real
@@vaandervik - Why didn't you show video of the animals that make those sounds instead of just photographs? 🤨🙄Some of the sounds to me sounded like humans that are really good at making animal sounds.😆

Amazing that the chipmunk has evolved the ultimate survival adaptation for human habitats: being cute. 😁

Porcupine 🤣🤣

the porcupine sounds like pokemon
😸👍 Ja, ich schätze, du hast recht!
A coyote is something you do NOT want to hear when outside walking at night. It’s actually scary, no matter how distant the sound.
You make a true statement.
I hear them hunting in a pack, all yelping and barki ng, while chasing some unknown prey, through our back woods area almost every night.
Tonight I came to see what was making this eerie noise tonight that made my dogs hair stand up. It sounded like a high-pitched "whooooaaa". Still don't know!!!
It's fascinating and mysterious what you've experienced. If possible, try to capture a recording next time, it could help to identify the sound. Stay safe!
I love playing these for my dog and seeing her reaction. It’s hilarious
😄😄👍👍
growing up surrounded by bobcats. I couldnt imagine a more harmless beast that makes the most terrifying sounds.
I went fishing and i heard the bull frog noise and thought it was a goose
))
So i heard a sound that was really close (im outside) i couldnt hear any growl so i look up sounds if owls. Nothing poped up so i went to this video half way through the video i see a FLORIDA PANTHER in my driveway. Oh helllllll naaaaaaw
Wtf really
idk why so many people dont like the elk sounds, to me it sounds so majestic, like arrogant almost
Same
Yes I agree. The bugle is so hauntingly beautiful
Agreed!
I never knew the sound of raccoons could be so cute. Want to cuddle them to safety.
they do this trilling noise I was waiting for it but it didn't happen in this video i'm in love with it th-cam.com/video/s8NMXqsyK70/w-d-xo.html
I'm pretty in love with porcupine sounds now.
😻👍
THE PORCUPINE IS SO CUTE OMG
It sounded like it was arguing with itself 😂☺️❤
This is why I won't go camping. The sound of the bobcat gave me a mild cardiac event. 😳😳😳
The sound of the Cardinal and Bullfrog are almost nostalgic for me, that's all I heard as a kid (grew up in Missouri)
Same, I grew up in Southern Illinois.
Coyotes sound like the ambient sounds of the dogs in Resident Evil.
Yeah, they're identical
The porcupine and the beaver win. They sound so much like human babies it's amazing.
Bob cat sounds like a human trying to sound like a bob cat!!wow thank you!
The gray wolf's howl is soothing to the ears, as long as it isn't in your vicinity of course.
4:06 sounds like my friend playing the trombone in band class
😸😸🐸🎺👍
It sounds like an an airplane
I'm so glad that I found this video because I heard a squirrel noise in my backyard and I thought it was my cat grey who ran off three months ago and never returned so I thought it was him
😺 🐿 👍
Those Bison sounded like an African Lion and they may look slow and nonaggressive, but they aren't, they won't bite but they will definitely stomp you!
neweyes777 Sounds like a big angry cow
I lost it at the porcupine noise 🤣 I didn’t know they made sounds but it sounds like a Pokémon or Donald Duck! Sooo cute!
I often hear a lot of squirrel bark chatter on my neighborhood walks...also their squawking-like noises. (So practially both.)
My favorite is the gray wolf. Haunting
I should have seen this video before I went into the woods last week. At first I thought I just heard some birds fluttering. Now I'm almost convinced it was a cougar. We have a few around here.
1:52 the name Gila Monster got me thinking about Guilmon from Digimon Tamers
This was helpful, im working on looking for animal sounds for my animated series(so i can mix them to make new calls)
Same
Now I know It's the Coyote who makes that howliing sound and not the Wolves every time Dracula appears in the old movies. LOL!
I knew I've heard it somewhere
Hunter: "Alright, got 'im in my sights..."
Caribou: "DO IT, DO IT"
Hunter: uneasy digestive noises
Cute and funny thumbnail 😁
7:31 me when I can’t sleep and my legs itches
OMG the red fox lol. Came home from work one morning, and heard that awful scream. I figured it was a dog hurt someone in the woods on my property, I went out searching. I finally saw something moving and yelled come here, it looked at me and screamed. I realized it was a fox. Never had an idea they did that. Sounds like a women screaming.
This is my favorite video of all I have watched in years of watching TH-cam.
i heard a skunk a while ago. I had no clue what it was, the sound reminded me of a rabbit, but rabbit would not be screaming at 2 am
Same here! I had one pretty close to my house screaming at 2-3am and wondered what the heck it was 😂
I would assume that it would yell if a predator grabbed it, at ANY time.
Rabbits do scream when they're being attacked. The sound is horrific.
Wolves howling is pretty spooky. Once I worked as a home carer, and it was very close to the Zoo, which I completely forgotten about and the wolves were howling during the full moon, spooky
Thank you so much for this unnerving compilation I absolutely could have done without.
I will cherish it.
It is 10 min long. Wouldn't u just move along after the first sign of nerves unning??
The beaver seriously sounds like a human baby!! Oh gosh, imagine hearing that out in the wilderness and thinking someone just left a baby!!
EDIT:
And the fox kind of does, too!!

Mines sounds like a frog duck !
But the thing is, there is no pond...it is nightime and we still got a snowstorm today haha
Probly some kind of weird bird!
{Who knows, not me}
You don't ever want to hear the tail of the Rattler in the woods!
Yeah, heard it while I was walking along a trail right behind my ankle. My brother said he never new I could jump that high lol.
I used to run my dog at a privately owned walking trail in the country since they let me run him off leash (he was better off than on as a young boy). I surprisingly captured bear footprints about 5” across. Beautiful!! This is about an hour north of Indy. Then, one night, years later, when we had moved to acreage near this park, I was dumping some paw wash water off the front porch when I obviously spooked something because I heard a harrumph and a few steps. I stood up straight. Couldn’t see anything because of the front porch lights so I slowly backed up and skedaddled back inside like a child. Never dumped the water with the lights on again! I’ve been within 15 feet of a wolf, watched ground hogs play, played with baby alligators as a kid, even fed a big bull gator we named and treated like a pet, and got too close to a skunk but have never been attacked by any wild animal. That one sound got my attention in a big way!
I remember when I first moved into the country and was actually back a few hundred feet off the road in nature. I heard a woman screaming bloody murder in the backyard one night. I was so scared and worried until the next day when my landlord told me it was an animal lol
I came to find out what was in my backyard, still have no clue
TJ Dwyer me too 😩I hear something very loud in the bushes
Yep theres some weird shit afoot

Very well out together. I'm at the hospital right now visiting a neighbor. His nephews, ages 20, 6 and 2, very restless and wanted to run around. All noises ceased. They got captivated by it, and so did I.
I’m super glad I figured out what the noise was in my barn! I thought my rabbit was being attacked by a mink😒 everybody’s alright now though!
