I tested a similar build yesterday, at 1 point I did 12m burst dmg with 2.1k reso. But first 30 seconds was pretty steady around 100m dmg.
Today, that is no more. I think there was a bug with zephyrs and blizz secretly fixed it.

Yeah, I was playing around with Tempest last night and my very first thought was, "Over-powered". While I'm bummed that they are nerfing the class, I totally understand why. Nothing could how a candle to the DPS the un-nerfed class could deal. (RIP) +

There was a stormfury bug. It did 400% more damage. Not 40%. You could tell because my zephyrs did 400k-500k regular hits and with Stormfury, they hit 1.5M regularly. After the fix it was 550-600k

Using pretty much the same setup except I opted for Vortex for the last for some extra damage. Not necessary at this stage as dungeons have lower CR req since update, but was useful for the last boss in raids

This is about the same as my raid build only difference I’m using
Main hand : wind edge becomes empower every 6 seconds
Crossing critical hits cause 4 blades of wind to shatter if target
Off hand : wind edge becomes empower you use a skill cause next 2 promises
Off hand : cross winds now empowers your edges with wind

3k Reso, casual Player nowadays but playing since day 1. What I like about this Class is that it makes me feel stronger alongside my Summons when compared to Necromancer. I don't know if there is any foundation for that, but that's how it feels like. Also it's really nice that I basically don't need to swap out any gems for this Class change to work. The only sucky part is having played for so long, collecting Skins on one Class, and now you can't use them on the new one. We know the deal about that already, wish they could change. Anywho, fun class overall!

My 2 tempest complaints are about rolling surf. It needs to be about 5-10 faster movement. And the constant yelling from the character while you attack when surfing is annoying.

Main hand use shriekworth, off hand use cyclone call, both using Crosswinds skill. It is the best and fastest ow, dg and terror rift setup. Imagine ww barb together with range attack like dh together.

Its from skill and essence, you become untargetable.
