What do you think are the best catfish/loach species for a backwater aquarium? I made a 10 gallon Blackwater riparian based on your aquariums and I was thinking of maybe either some Otocinclus, Corydoras or Kuhli Loaches.
I'm glad my videos inspired your setup! Most corydoras will do well in blackwater, but only some are typical blackwater species such as C.concolor and c.duplicareus/adolfoi. Otos will be a great addition. Kuhli loach will also thrive in blackwater
I don't want to spoil your next video, but is the moss drip wall still holding up? I am planning on making a smaller tank in a similar style to yours and I thought I should double check that it has held together before I try and make mine.
Interesting that you have some Cabomba as it was banned in England (Scotland?) some years ago. Some sort of nonsensical reason imposed by Europe. I don’t know if this regulation has been overturned since the UK left the EU?
I think this will look fantastic after a month. The water running down the driftwood is great.
Thanks Gil! It is indeed all about waiting and giving the scape more time:)
Your aquarium are always so natural 👏
Thank you very much:)
Great video. Glad your back with videos. Tank will be amazing once it settles in i think. Thanks for sharing
Thank you:) yes, I cannot wait until the tank settles and the moss establishes itself
