    I am 49 and getting ready to take my first CompTIA A+ cert. I've been doing many forms of studying, from hand written note taking to practice tests to watching your videos. Thank you for being well spoken and easy to understand, clear, concise, and thorough.

    Thank you for these videos! I'm 35 with an agriculture degree (hah!). I do have a quite a bit of IT in my background but that was a long time ago. Just passed ITF+ last weekend, moving on to A+. Also plan on buying your notes and practice tests. Thanks again.

      @@kzx1826 Make sure to use the Comptia 1101 and 1102 course objectives. It makes studying much easier to structure into different segments and review! Just learned about it a few days ago from Professor Messer himself and it's remarkably useful!

      @@jollyelmroot A modified youtube application (for android) that allows you to customize settings not on the regular youtube app. It also adds features to skip sponsors from videos, skip ads, and it has the ability to do background play, plus many, many, more features.     Feeling kinda dumb, but what's a Desktop adapter card? Is that the same sort of stuff like NIC cards and bus expansion cards would be, or something different?

      What part of the video are you asking about? Sounds like a generic term used to describe an add-on card to provide extra functionality or ports.

      For a desktop, it's probably one of those things you connect to the motherboard via PCIe to add functionality

    Going through the A+ video series and you mentioned something about 3G. You had said that with the improved speeds / bandwidth that allowed for GPS, Mobile TV, Video on demand and Video conferencing. Needing some clarification, Did you mean that 3G INTRODUCED those on mobile devices for the first time or did the bandwidth just make those features better? Studying for CompTIA test so I wanted to ask and not assume and fail a question haha.

    For the port replicator, are you implying all those ports shown are plugged into an array of peripherals, and you only need the USB connection in order to be connected to rest of the ports?

    What should I expect on the a+ core 1 exam?

      He has it at the beginning of the A+ certification video playlist. He explains what to expect question wise, how many points you are aiming to get per test to pass as well as just general things for the A+ cert test. Suggest you check it out as it is very informative.
